
Investigators uncover new details in NYC shooter Shane Tamura's case revealing he obtained assault rifle from Las Vegas
New York City witnessed one of the deadliest events on Monday when Shane Tamura walked in the 345 Park Avenue as he opened fire as he carried an M4 assault-style rifle. Shane Tamura shot at people randomly and ended up killing four people before he fatally shot himself.
This had sparked chaos and panic in the city and the NFL community but now, there have been some developments in the investigation.
Shane Tamura paid $1400 to obtain the gun he used to open fire in New York City
As per CNN, Shane Tamura paid $1400 for the M4 assault-style rifle with which he opened fire on Monday at 345 Park Avenue. Apparently, a supervisor at a casino in Las Vegas had bought the rifle and sold it to Shane Tamura recently.
But that's not all; even the car that Shane Tamura drove that day and arrived at 345 Park Avenue was also sold to him by the same supervisor.
The supervisor used to work at the same casino in Las Vegas where Shane Tamura was working at. As of now, the supervisor's identity has not been revealed but he is said to be cooperating with the authorities.
Recently, New York City Mayor Eric Adams spoke to CBS Mornings about what might have been the intent of Shane Tamura and said, 'From our preliminary investigation, he took the wrong elevator bank up to the NFL headquarters.'

Shane Tamura has blamed his CTE for the deadly attack
As per reports, a note was also found in Shane Tamura's pocket where he spoke about CTE and blamed the NFL for it.
The NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell issued a statement on Tuesday about the safety of employees and how one employee had been injured in the shooting.
As per ESPN, the statement read as, 'One of our employees was seriously injured in this attack. He is currently in the hospital and in stable condition…NFL staff are at the hospital and we are supporting his family.'
The statement added, 'We believe that all of our employees are otherwise safe and accounted for, and the building has nearly been cleared.'
Shane Tamura ended up killing an off duty police officer, a security guard, a young Cornell University graduate and an executive at Blackstone.
