Texas A&M is a finalist to land elite 2026 4-star SF out of Marietta (GA)
Landrew is a big-bodied guard with a 6-foot-10 wingspan and a physical style of play that translates seamlessly from the football field to the hardwood. He's an intelligent player who's still developing as a shooter but has already shown a smooth touch.
Landing in Landrew's top 10 is a strong first step, but the Aggies will need to cover serious ground to keep pace with programs like Auburn, Texas, and Alabama. If A&M can put a compelling product on the floor and show Landrew that his style fits the Bucky Ball system, it could go a long way in his recruitment.
According to 247Sports, Landrew is ranked No. 61 nationally, No. 25 among small forwards, and No. 4 in the state of Texas.

Inter Milan Legend Certain: ‘Lautaro Martinez Is Capable Of Winning The Ballon D'Or'
Legendary former Inter Milan striker Alessandro Altobelli believes that Lautaro Martinez is 'capable of winning the Ballon d'Or.' Altobelli gave his thoughts in an interview in today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908. Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez is among the nominees for the Ballon d'Or this year. This will in fact be the second year in a row in which the Argentine is on the thirty-player shortlist for the award. Martinez may not have had his most prolific season in Serie A last season. Nor did he managed to get his hands on any silverware at club or international level as in previous years. However, it was in the Champions League that Martinez really shone. The 27-year-old was undoubtedly one of Inter's key players in their run to the final of Europe's top club competition for the second time in three seasons. Inter Legend Altobelli: 'Lautaro Martinez Capable Of Winning The Ballon D'Or' CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – JUNE 30: Lautaro Martinez #10 of FC Internazionale Milano crosses the ball during the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 round of 16 match between FC Internazionale Milano and Fluminense FC at Bank of America Stadium on June 30, 2025 in Charlotte, North Carolina. (Photo by) Legendary former Inter striker Alessandro Altobelli said that Martinez looks like the 'same old Toro' in recent friendlies. 'Always hungry for goals, and especially trophies.' 'He scored a great goal in Monte Carlo [against Monaco],' said Altobelli. 'And the new signings will also give him a hand.' 'I hope it's a great year. We're Inter, and we need to get back to winning ways.' The former striker declared that 'Another season without trophies would be out of the question.' And of Martinez's inclusion on the thirty-player Ballon d'Or shortlist, Altobelli said that 'he deserves it.' 'And he could even win it! Why not?' 'He needs to have a top season with Inter and Argentina,' the former Nerazzurri striker added. 'Maybe he'll even be champion again, like in Qatar.' 'Right now though there are three or four players in the world who are better than him.' Altobelli also said that Inter 'have to do everything they can to make sure he finishes his career with the Nerazzurri.'

Ohio State center named to 2025 Rimington preseason watch list
The parade of 2025 preseason award watch lists continued last week, and one of the latest announced was the Rimington preseason watch list. Initially handed out in 2000, the Rimington is awarded to the college football player judged to be the best center in the country. Last week, 40 names were announced on the preseason watch list, and Ohio State center Carson Hinzman was one of those names appearing. Originally from Hammond, Wisconsin, Hinzman was the starting center during the 2023 campaign, but fell to a backup when Seth McLaughlin transferred from Alabama and earned the No. 1 role. However, an injury to McLauglin afforded Hinzman an opportunity to step back in as the starter, and he excelled, helping lead a resurgent offensive line en route to a College Football Playoff national championship. The 6-foot, 5-inch, 300-pounder should be the starter at the position again in 2025, and there's a good chance he ends up being an All-Big Ten performer and one of the best centers in the country. The Rimington will be announced on December 12 and officially handed out during a ceremony in Lincoln, Nebraska, on January 25, 2025. Ohio State tight end named to the Mackey Award 2025 preseason watch list
We've got another Ohio State football player who's made a preseason award watch list. Last week, the Mackey Award, which goes to college football's best tight end annually, released 28 names on its 2025 preseason watch list, and OSU's Max Klare is one of those names. Out of Cincinnati St. Xavier, Klare played for Purdue his first three seasons before transferring to Ohio State via the transfer portal at the end of last season. He was an All-Big Ten performer in 2024 and is expected to grab the starting tight end spot for the Buckeyes as one of the best tight ends in the conference and country. He finished 2024 with 51 receptions for 685 yards (13.4 ypc) and four touchdowns. Plugging him into an offense with Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate, and the best wide receiving corps in the country should afford Klare plenty of opportunities to build on those numbers this fall. The Mackey Award will be handed out on Friday, December 12, during the Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN. Ohio State has never had a Mackey Award winner since it was first handed out in 2000.
