Crimewatch Live star Michelle thrilled fans with the declaration while appearing alongside her co-host Gethin Jones.
Michelle revealed: "Yes, I am four months pregnant!" She added: "I still can't quite believe it myself really."
The mum-to-be married her sports coach husband Ben Ryan last year.
Former rugby star Ben, 53, and Michelle dated for two years before they got engaged during a forest proposal in April 2022.
The sports coach - who helped scoop a gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016 - is now a performance director at English Premier League football team Brentford FC.
Speaking about her doting husband Ben, she admitted: "He has been so chilled.
"The thing is, I'm not really sleeping well at the moment so I've been waking up in the middle of the night at 3am and I've been taking it upon myself to wake Ben up and say this is what we are going to have to get used to!"
The TV presenter told followers on social media: "I can't believe it's nearly been a year since getting married and I honestly didn't think 12months on that I'd be writing a post sharing that I'm pregnant…
"I wanted to share though as my journey with endometriosis and infertility is something I finally felt confident to start speaking about more openly last year - realising how many other women were going through similar experiences.
"Feeling part of a community - especially when it comes to women's health can really make a difference.
Michelle Ackerley is worlds away from Morning Live as she parties in nightclub in daring slashed dress
"Even at the very start of this year I was gearing up for yet another endo procedure and trying to come to terms with the mental and physical impact they can have.
"It has been quite the emotional rollercoaster. The news of falling pregnant really came as a massive surprise to both of us. We still can't quite believe it.
"And so in October, the start of a new chapter begins for @benryan7s and I, albeit with nervous and cautious excitement."
In a previous interview with Closer, she explained about dealing with menopause-like symptoms aged 24 and having HRT injections.
She said: "It worked, but basically put me into an early form of menopause for 18 months.
"I was given monthly injections into my stomach, which made my periods completely stop. I'd experience these intense hot flushes, my skin became itchy and sore and I had (acne) breakouts on my face.
"I suffered extreme mood swings so I was all over the place, feeling really panicky and then really angry.
"I was experiencing intense pain with my endometriosis and heavy bleeding," Michelle shared.
The radio presenter previously told Hello! about Ben: "One of the things I love about Ben is that he has such a calm aura about him and I feel safe around him.
"He's also great fun; we've also got the same sense of humour and we can just spend all of our time together cracking up laughing at stupid things."
The TV star is the daughter of television presenter and life coach Mavis, who she often appears with on shows including Morning Live and BBC's Dirty Rotten Scammers.
The presenter, who was born in Manchester, began her career in local radio.
She then moved onto BBC Watchdog, followed by The One Show, Fantasy Homes By The Sea and Loose Women.
She has also starred in Celebrity Mastermind, Celebrity MasterChef and World's Strongest Man.

This is a bargain compared to Amazon, where the same Fairy Platinum Non Bio Pods pack currently goes for £25.99. Farmfoods is a Scottish frozen food and grocery supermarket chain with 341 stores across the UK. Founded in 1955, Farmfoods is headquartered in Cumbernauld, Scotland, with a strong presence across Scotland, Northern England and Wales. While Farmfoods specialises in frozen foods, the chain also sells a range of groceries and household essentials. It comes as shoppers spotted Farmfoods is selling a limited edition chocolate that is a twist on a classic for just 49p. Fry's Turkish Delight Orange, which is a citrus twist on the classic floral tasting chocolate, was first picked up in stores last summer. Meanwhile, Tom Church, co-founder of discount code website shared with The Sun today the best times to shop at retailers like B&M and Poundland to save money. He advised that Wednesday mornings are the best time to visit B&M, as "this is when most of the new reductions are dropped". Cleaning fan reveals the cheap, easy way to get clothes smelling 'beautiful' without shelling out on pricey dryer sheets Similarly, for Home Bargains, Tom recommends shopping first thing in the morning, as larger stores typically receive deliveries around 7.30am each day. He also suggests taking a careful look around as you enter the store, explaining, 'Often, Home Bargains keeps the best deals at the front to lure you in. "You don't want to walk straight past them on the way in!' Superdrug often offers promotions and shopping incentives. Tom says the best time to shop there depends on "what you're buying, and timing your shop to coincide with a relevant offer". For example, the store often runs 3-for-2 deals on beauty products, so if you're restocking your makeup bag, it may be worth waiting for that offer to return. Aldi is well known for its middle aisle Special Buys, selling everything from air fryers to dupes for Dyson hairstylers. These deals drop on Thursdays and Sundays, so arriving early on those days gives you the best chance to grab the bargains. The store also has red stickers to point out an item has been reduced. Tom said: "If you get there early, you have a better chance of bagging them. Just look out for red stickers.'

Simone Biles calls out Kylie Jenner: 'This is a crime!'

Simone Biles has won seven Olympic gold medals - but performing a perfect routine is apparently easier than finding a jacket that fits. The 28-year-old gymnast, who stands at just 4ft8in, snapped a picture of herself trying on a blazer from Kylie Jenner 's clothing range, sharing her hilarious response to how ill-fitting it was. In the picture, Biles was seen posing in the merlot colored faux-leather from the Khy by Kylie Jenner collection, with the enormous jacket falling near her knees and the sleeves extending well past her hands. 'Ms. Kylie Jenner this is a crime!!!!!!' the Olympian wrote on her Instagram Stories, along with a series of laughing emojis. 'This is not an XXS/XS,' she complained. The next post showed Gigi Hadid wearing a Vetements x Tommy Hilfiger hoodie, which had been edited to look massive. 'This is me on the last slide. SICK,' she jokingly wrote on the picture. Khy By Kylie runs from sizes XXS to a 4X, and while the blazer - which retails for $138 - is described as a 'boxy, ultra-oversized blazer' online, it is still a tad too big for Biles. Fashion-loving Biles is known for her bold fashion choices. The athlete, along with her NFL-star husband Jonathan Owens, recently had fans divided over their interesting outfit choice. The pair stepped out of Metropolitan Museum of Art for the glamorous annual fashion event, with Biles donning a tailored blue mini dress with a white collar and a huge flowing blue train. Owens chose an all-white suit with a matching fur cape and a black cane to fit the 'Superfine' theme. This year's Met Gala theme, titled 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style', was an homage to menswear centered around 'sartorial style' in forming Black identities, with a focus on the 'Black dandy' - the 18th-century looks analyzed in Monica L. Miller's 2009 book 'Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.' The petite athlete loves to experiment with texture and fabric - and has even worn a a leather blazer before. In December 2024, Biles looked chic as she arrived in at NBC Studios for the Kelly Clarkson Show in New York City in an all-black ensemble. The fashionista sported a black leather blazer and a matching skirt as she was escorted into the building by security guards. She also accessorized with a black fuzzy bucket hat and two silver necklaces to compliment the all-black ensemble. Last week, the athlete was spotted wearing a a bikini from Kim Kardashian's SKIMS brand, combining her Olympic success with her love of fashion. She snapped a mirror selfie of herself sporting a red and white-trimmed bikini top which had the logo of the US Olympic Committee on it, which appears to be part of a collection from SKIMS. According to Sportskeeda, Biles traveled to Hong Kong to give a speech at investment bank UBS' 28th Asian Investment Conference. Biles spoke to 600 young athletes from community sports organizations within the city, including gymnastics clubs. Throughout the trip, Biles showed off her various outfits - including another red ensemble, this time from Athleta.
