Lindsay Lohan's wild ride from teen star to comeback queen: from Herbie to Freakier Friday
Lindsay Lohan , the irrepressible star of Mean Girls who has endured more than her fair share of tabloid scrutiny and infamy.
Her charming and spunky screen presence made her a child and teenage star, but she stumbled through a rocky patch in her 20s with misguided life and career choices. But since moving to Dubai, marrying and becoming a mum, she's rediscovered her creative spirit and re-emerged on-screen in compelling form, beginning with a trifecta of Christmas-themed Netflix films: Falling for Christmas, Our Little Secret and Irish Wish.
Now, the former teen star is crowning her resurgence with the sequel to her hit 2003 film Freaky Friday, alongside co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis and
Chad Michael Murray

Audiences first fell in love with Lohan in Nancy Meyers' 1998 film The Parent Trap, playing long-lost twins Annie and Hallie, who meet at summer camp and swap places to get their parents back together. The film is a remake of the 1961 original starring Hayley Mills.

Lohan went on to find huge success in another Disney movie, Freaky Friday (2003), another remake (of a 1976 film), opposite Jamie Lee Curtis. This film, coupled with the 2004 film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, set the stage for her mainstream breakout performance in Mean Girls, written by
Tina Fey and directed by Mark Waters (who also directed Freaky Friday).

Michael B. Jordan's luxury watch collection, from Rolex and Tiffany & Co. to Richard Mille
Michael B. Jordan, 38, is no stranger to transformation, whether he's bulking up to play a champion boxer in Creed, tapping into his villainous side for Black Panther, or shape-shifting into a blues-loving vampire in this summer's surprise hit, Sinners. It's almost hard to believe that the same actor who played the baby-faced kid-turned-drug-dealer Wallace in HBO's The Wire has become one of Hollywood's most bankable leading men. Actor and director Michael B. Jordan at the Creed III photocall at Le Grand Rex in February 2023, in Paris, France. Advertisement But it's not just his acting that's evolved – his sense of style has, too. Once too broke to even think about luxury watches, Jordan told Robb Report, 'It wasn't really something I had been introduced to … but then over time, the more I had to dress up, it was something that I realised was a vital piece of fashion.' Today, he's a fully-fledged watch guy – 'hooked', as he puts it – on the one accessory he can't live without. Here are a few stand-outs from Michael B. Jordan's luxury watch collection. Jordan has had a long-standing relationship with Piaget, even acting as an ambassador for the Swiss watchmaker for several years. If his red carpet appearances are anything to go by, he seems to have a soft spot for its Altiplano line, a collection known for its ultra-thin face and tailored aesthetic. At the 2016 Oscars, for instance, he wore the newly released Piaget Altiplano Chronograph in white gold, paired with matching white gold cufflinks from the prestigious maison Piaget Polo 7131 Michael B. Jordan speaks on stage during a Creed III event at AMC Madison Yards 8 in October 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia. As a friend of the brand, the actor has also had access to some rare pieces from the Piaget archives, including this vintage Piaget Polo 7131 from 1979. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this 25mm unisex design was revolutionary for its time, aligning with the era's boundary-pushing shifts in fashion, culture and society. Small and understated but big on style, it was a stylish choice for Jordan to wear during the Creed III press tour back in 2022. Richard Mille RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic

Following the immense success of Wednesday, Netflix's TV spin-off of The Addams Family, in 2022, the show has finally returned to our screens. The second season's part one is now streaming, while part two will air on September 3. Continuing the adventures of Wednesday Addams (played by Hollywood's gothic Gen Z 'It' girl, Jenna Ortega ), the show will even feature a cameo from Lady Gaga. Among the students at Nevermore Academy is the queen bee herself, Bianca Barclay, played by 28-year-old Joy Sunday. Advertisement Joy Sunday plays Bianca Barclay on Netflix's Wednesday. This time around, Sunday says we'll get to see a different side to Bianca. 'I'm really happy that people get to become more intimately acquainted with her history,' she told Glamour earlier this month. 'The Bianca that I met when I first got the script versus who she is now – there's such a difference. In season one, she's kind of built a wall and acts as if she doesn't need anything. But now we get to understand … the vulnerability and insecurities that she's facing.' Here's everything to know about Joy Sunday. Photo: @joysunday/Instagram Born in September 1996, Joy Sunday was raised in Staten Island, New York, by her parents, who moved from Nigeria to the US in the 1970s, per Glamour. Sunday says her love of performing spawned from her love of reading, which she inherited from her father: 'I would read books to imaginary kids in my room,' she told Glamour. 'That's where I learned my first sense of pacing, character, and presence.'
