CM Yogi slams SP's ‘G for Gadha' education model, inaugurates ₹1,172 Cr projects in Moradabad
Referring to SP's PDA Pathshala narrative, CM Yogi said, 'Under SP, cheating became a birthright and education was mocked — 'G for Gadha' replaced 'G for Ganpati.'' He accused the SP of weakening educational foundations and exploiting youth through recruitment scams. In contrast, he highlighted the state's strides under the double-engine government, with 1.54 lakh schools upgraded, and ultra-modern digital classrooms, labs, and basic amenities being provided.
He also lashed out at the SP for fostering nepotism, communal disharmony, and mafia rule, likening it to the 'Kaurav Dal.' Yogi emphasised the zero-tolerance policy against corruption in recruitments and transfers, warning that bribe-takers would 'rot in jail.'
On the development front, CM Yogi described Moradabad's transformation from a riot-prone city to a global handicraft hub, thanks to schemes like One District One Product (ODOP). He credited artisans for boosting exports worth ₹11,000–₹15,000 crore and contributing to PM Modi's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
CM Yogi also celebrated BJP's Kundarki bypoll win as a public rejection of SP-Congress divisive politics and a mandate for inclusive development. He announced free bus travel for women on August 8–10, linking Raksha Bandhan with the Kakori Train Action Day, honouring freedom fighters.
The event saw participation from BJP leaders, MLAs, and thousands of citizens. CM Yogi also performed Annaprashan rituals and visited stalls showcasing welfare schemes.

Delhi BJP chief seeks public support for reshaping national capital
New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva hoisted the national flag at the city party office and urged people to take the pledge of working with the government to reshape the national capital. Sachdeva paid tributes to the martyrs of Pahalgam and congratulated the Indian Armed Forces for the success of Operation Sindoor, which restored India's pride. He stated that after a decade of anarchic governance in the national capital, the 79th Independence Day is especially joyful for Delhiites as a BJP government has been formed after 27 years. Sachdeva emphasised that Independence Day is not only for making national resolutions but also for resolving to eradicate social evils. He expressed regret that even after 79 years of India's Independence, "the social evil of harassment of women still brings us shame". He appealed to the people of Delhi to take a pledge this Independence Day to free our sisters, daughters, and daughters-in-law from the evil so that they too can live their lives freely. Those present on this occasion included MP and former president Manoj Tiwari, Organization General Secretary Pawan Rana, General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, Vice Presidents and MLAs Rajkumar Bhatia and Gajendra Yadav, MLA Shyam Sharma, Office Secretaries Brijesh Rai and Amit Gupta, Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor, Media Relations Head Vikram Mittal, Women's Wing President Richa Pandey, Youth Wing President Sagar Tyagi, Former MLAs Subhash Sachdeva and Nitin Tyagi. Earlier, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta led Independence Day celebrations of the Delhi government on Friday and hit out at the previous AAP government for making the national capital suffer even for small issues related to development. Hoisting the national flag at Chhatrasal Stadium on the 79th Independence Day, CM Gupta said, 'On the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the government is going to launch the Atal Canteen scheme to offer a Rs-5 meal to our workers.' A key promise in BJP's manifesto, the Atal Canteen Scheme promises nutritious food at a nominal price of Rs 5 to residents of slum areas in Delhi. On its implementation, the Atal Canteen Scheme will be the first of its kind, offering nutritious food at such an affordable price. Earlier targeting the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for slowing down development in the city, the CM said, 'It was a matter of shame that even after 78 years of Independence, the Capital had to struggle to fulfil its needs and aspirations. It is really painful that the Yamuna was neglected for years, without any serious effort to clean it.' She said: 'As the head of the Delhi government, I promise you that the Yamuna will become pristine again and its banks will turn welcoming for prayers and festivities.' The Chief Minister assured speedy transformation of the national capital and providing houses for all slum dwellers. -

In the past eight years, 8.3 lakh youth have received government jobs and 1.62 crore youth have been employed in the MSME sector," he added. A cultural programme was organised by the Department of Culture. Over 180 artists from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Gujarat gave spectacular performances symbolizing the unity and cultural diversity of the nation. BJP slams Rahul Gandhi over Jagdish Tytler's presence at I-Day flag hoisting
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has attacked the Congress after the 1984 Sikh riots accused Jagdish Tytler was seen at the party headquarters during the Independence Day flag leader Amit Malviya, in a post on X, said: "Jagdish Tytler, the man who unleashed genocide on Sikhs at Rajiv Gandhi's behest, is once again seen alongside Rahul Gandhi at the Congress HQ. Some stains don't wash away, no matter how much time passes. The Gandhis are unapologetic too."advertisementBJP leader Radhika Khera also took aim at the Congress, posting on X: "On August 15, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, who was absent from the traditional Red Fort event, was present at the Congress headquarters to hoist the national flag. Behind him stood the same accused killer of the 1984 Sikh genocide, Jagdish Tytler, whose bloody hands were covered up by his father Rajiv Gandhi, calling it a 'natural reaction'. Even on the day of patriotism, the 'prince' stands with a rioter. This is the true face of Congress: a legacy of conspiracy and treachery against the nation. And yes, this is the same Indira Bhawan from where Rahul announced a 'fight against the Indian state'." Responding to the BJP's attack, Congress spokesperson Shama Mohammad defended the party and countered: "Jagdish Tytler is not convicted but convicted rapists who gang raped Bilkis Bano (who was 7 months pregnant) and other women in her family, killed her 2-year-old daughter by crushing her skull to the wall, were released by Narendra Modi and used for campaigning in the 2022 assembly election! That's horrific. So shut up Amit Malviya."- EndsTune InMust Watch IN THIS STORY#Rahul Gandhi#Independence Day 2025
