Elderly man seriously injured after being struck by car during road rage incident in Logan, south-east Queensland
An altercation occurred between the drivers of a Holden Commodore and a Mazda 2 on the Mandew St overpass in Shailer Park, Logan, about 7.20pm.
While the incident was unfolding, an unknown vehicle, travelling in the opposite direction struck a man in his 60s.
He was then rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious but non-critical injuries.
The driver, who fled the scene following the crash has been urged to contact the police.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses or persons with a vision of the incident to also come forward.

Six people hospitalised after three-car pile-up south of Brisbane
A woman in her 20s is in a critical condition after suffering serious injuries in a three-car collision south of Brisbane on Saturday night, while another five people have been hospitalised. Police were called about 8pm on Saturday to Logan over reports of a serious crash. Officers said the woman in her 20s had been driving a grey Hyundai i30, turning off Teviot Road into Cusack Lane in South Maclean when it was struck by a white Ford Falcon travelling south along Teviot Road. The two vehicles then collided with a silver Mazda 2, which was travelling north along Teviot Road. The woman suffered potentially life-threatening injuries to her head, abdomen and pelvis. She was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and remained in a critical but stable condition on Sunday morning. Police said another eight people suffered minor injuries in the crash, including the woman's passenger, five occupants of the Ford Falcon, and two people in the Mazda 2. Of the injured, two were taken to Logan Hospital and three to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, all in stable conditions. Officers from the forensic crash unit had opened an investigation by Sunday morning. 'Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether speed was a factor, are continuing,' police said in a statement.
