What began as a standard matchup quickly turned personal, violent, and headline-worthy. Aleister Black vs LA Knight interrupted by Seth Rollins Aleister Black and LA Knight were putting on a hard-hitting contest, with both stars trading signature moves in what looked like a potential show-stealer. LA Knight landed a Burning Hammer, while Black responded with a sliding knee and springboard moonsault. But before fans could witness a conclusion, Seth Rollins interrupted the match and delivered a Stomp to Knight, costing him a clean finish. Black, who suffered an eye injury years ago due to Rollins' former disciple Buddy Matthews, wasn't ready to let the moment slide. He confronted Rollins in the ring, reigniting a personal rivalry that WWE never fully resolved. Seth Rollins and company lay waste to LA Knight: SmackDown highlights, June 6, 2025 The tension between Black and Rollins was cut short when Bron Breakker blindsided Black with a brutal spear. The crowd's reaction turned to shock as Rollins' faction, including Breakker and Bronson Reed - continued the beatdown. Andrade and Penta were also attacked after their match with The Creed Brothers, signaling Rollins' intent to eliminate all competition before Saturday's ladder match. Seth Rollins' new faction: Is 'The Shield 2.0' official? With Paul Heyman also appearing with the group earlier in the night, speculation about this being WWE's next dominant faction is growing louder. Social media lit up with passionate responses following the chaotic sequence. While some fans praised the intensity and storytelling, many were disappointed that a promising match between Aleister Black and LA Knight didn't get a proper finish. Another fan commented, 'Y'all couldn't just let a great match have a finish?' expressing frustration with what some see as overbooking. Meanwhile, a longtime viewer recalled, 'He kept that bad eye throughout his entire AEW run - thanks to Rollins when he gave the orders to Murphy, now Buddy Matthews.' The callback added emotional weight to Black's confrontation with Rollins. Despite criticism, the segment achieved its goal - fueling intrigue ahead of Saturday's ladder match. WWE has positioned Rollins' faction as a dominant force, and fans are now speculating whether this new unit will shape the outcome of Money in the Bank. Solo Sikoa's disrespectful remark may backfire: Jacob Fatu hints at betrayal
Image via WWE WWE's latest episode of SmackDown delivered a dramatic twist within The New Bloodline faction, as Solo Sikoa's leadership took a hit following a controversial backstage segment. The incident involved Sikoa speaking dismissively about United States Champion Jacob Fatu - calling him 'all gas and no brains' - a comment that Fatu overheard. The incident unfolded shortly after JC Mateo suffered a loss to Jimmy Uso. Blaming his defeat on Fatu, Mateo approached Sikoa backstage to express concern about Fatu's loyalty and performance. In an attempt to reassure Mateo, Solo claimed he had everything under control. However, his remarks soon turned condescending, mocking Fatu's intelligence and calling into question his place in the faction. Unbeknownst to the duo, Jacob Fatu had just entered the room and heard the entire exchange. The look on Fatu's face said it all, disappointment, anger, and perhaps a plan already forming. Jacob Fatu's history of sacrifice adds context to betrayal speculation This isn't the first time Jacob Fatu has taken a hit for The Bloodline. Just last week, during a Triple Threat MITB qualifier against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, Fatu was moments away from victory after hitting his Mighty Moonsault. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Stylish New Mobility Scooters Available for Seniors (Take a Look) Mobility Scooter | Search Ads Search Now Undo But interference from Sikoa and Mateo distracted him long enough for Andrade to steal the pinfall. Jacob Fatu confronts Solo Sikoa | WWE SmackDown 5/30/2025 What followed was a visibly frustrated Fatu confronting his own stablemates, clearly unhappy with the repeated sabotage. Despite this, Fatu had remained loyal - standing tall with the group earlier in the night when they interrupted Seth Rollins and his Shield 2.0 stable. But after Sikoa's latest insult, fans are now convinced the United States Champion has had enough. Could MITB see a Samoan shake-up? With Money in the Bank set for Saturday night, speculation is swirling that Jacob Fatu could turn on Solo Sikoa during the match. After being insulted and sidelined, Fatu has plenty of reasons to retaliate - and the high-stakes ladder match may be the perfect stage. WWE's post of the backstage segment set social media on fire. Fans were quick to react, with comments like 'Solo done messed up' and 'That's a dangerous man thinking dangerous thoughts.' Many believe this moment is building toward a full-fledged Jacob Fatu face turn. If Fatu intervenes, it could shatter what's left of unity in The New Bloodline. Sikoa's leadership has already shown cracks, and betrayal from within would expose deeper instability. For Fatu, it could mark a breakout moment - both as a solo performer and as a potential future main-eventer. Whether he strikes or stays silent, all eyes will be on Fatu when the bell rings in Los Angeles. One thing's certain: Money in the Bank may not just decide the next contract holder, it could reshape the future of WWE's most dominant faction. WWE SmackDown Sees John Cena-Logan Paul Wreck Havoc Ahead Of MITB Showdown
Last Updated: Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul unleashed a brutal sneak attack on Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. Held at the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California on June 6, the latest episode of the WWE SmackDown saw the final build-up towards the Money In The Bank. The competitors for the latest WWE Premier Live Event were finalised at an exciting SmackDown episode, where John Cena and Logan Paul dominated their MITB opponents after a brawl. The Main Event segment of the WWE SmackDown witnessed the legendary John Cena and Logan Paul powering over Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso came down to the ring after facing an attack from Seth Rollins. Cena then entered the ring. Just as the undisputed WWE champion was being introduced in his inimitable style, Paul launched an attack against Jey Uso. Cena also led an assault on Rhodes, which resulted in the two men holding the upper hand versus their MITB opponents. They lifted the World Titles. The SmackDown episode opened with Jimmy Uso beating JC Matteo after an interruption from Jacob Fatu. The intense game featured heavy moves by the two wrestlers but the Fatu versus Matteo altercation allowed Uso to roll Matteo up from behind and emerge victorious. A non-title match between Zelina Vega and Piper Niven led to chaotic scenes. Niven had Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre by her side but Giulia evened the odds with a timely intervention. She took out Green, Fyre and Niven with a kendo stick. Trying to maximise the support, Vega aimed for a pin against Niven. But she managed to escape, leading a counterpunch for her victory. Interference from Seth Rollins resulted in a disqualification in an otherwise captivating face-off between LA Knight and Aleister Black. Rollins tried attacking Knight before he was called out by the referee. Black stopped him but was himself taken down by a thunderous spear from Bron Breakker, who gave Knight the same treatment. Next up was a triple tag team match between the competitors of the Women's Money in the Bank ladder encounter. Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss took on Giulia, Naomi and Roxanne Perez. In another match that ended in chaos, Roxanne Perez attempted to tag Naomi with the latter refusing it. Perez consequently took the finisher from both Vaquer and Ripley as Mami executed a pinfall for her team. A backstage altercation resulting in a tag team clash saw Andrade El Idolo pair up with Penta against the Creed Brothers. A classic game witnessed some memorable moments. Both teams landed heavy punches and the fortunes seemed even. But just then an interruption from Chad Gable followed as he tried to support his American-Made Faction before the wrestler was thwarted by his WWE x AAA World Collide opponent, El Hijo del Vikingo. That allowed Penta to hit the Creed Brothers for the win. But the winning duo also countered an attack from Seth Rollins. First Published:
