Honor's fashion-forward foldable may arrive as soon as this month
— Jimmy Choo, Fashion Designer.
This is not the first time Honor has worked with Choo, but it remains an unusual pairing in the smartphone market. Fashion-themed editions can draw attention, yet they typically appeal to a smaller audience.
Samsung has, in the past, collaborated with several brands for bespoke versions of their devices. An example of this was the Thom Browne version of the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold, which featured the designer's signature gray, white, and red stripe aesthetic.
As to what we can expect from the Magic V Flip 2, leaked specifications suggest that will include a 5,500 mAh battery and support 80W wired charging. It is not expected to run on Qualcomm's top Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 considered more likely.
Samsung's clamshell foldables have led the market for several years, offering strong global sales and consistent software support. To compete, Honor will need to match its design work with competitive pricing, reliable performance, and good camera quality.
From a consumer perspective, the Jimmy Choo design adds a unique visual element, but its real test will be in daily use. Battery life, durability, and user experience will ultimately matter more than the phone's appearance if Honor hopes to make a lasting impact in the foldable market.

Google teaser shows that owning the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be doubly joyful
Google continues its streak of teasing its upcoming Pixel 10 phones in a bid to outsmart leakers. The company today posted a video of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and instead of beating around the bush, it gives a simple reason why the phone will deliver more than most other top smartphones. Nearly every Android manufacturer has been selling foldable phones for a while now. Apple is the only notable holdout. For some reason, Android companies love to throw shade on Apple, either directly or indirectly. In the latest Pixel 10 Pro Fold teaser, not only does the Mountain View giant give us a good look at its third bendable phone, but it also tells us why it will bring you more joy than a conventional phone. The company talks about how the feeling of opening a brand new phone is unrivalled and that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a step ahead because you will get to "open" it twice. Depending on your sense of humor, the joke may or may not land, but that, of course, isn't the point. I for one found it cringe-inducing at first, but it's growing on me in case you are wondering why Google is marketing such a straightforward fact, well, that might be because the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will largely look the same as the outgoing Pixel 9 Pro Fold, so there isn't much to flex about ( please tell me I am funnier than Google ). It will still be a worthwhile upgrade, though. For starters, the outward appearance will change a bit, with the cover screen growing marginally from 6.3 inches to 6.4 inches. Google will reportedly achieve this by trimming the bezel and reducing the gap between the outer display and the hinge. What really will set the Pixel 10 Pro Fold apart is that it might be the first dust-proof foldable phone on the market. The device may also have a slightly larger battery. Under the hood will be the Tensor G5 chipset, which will be paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Google's new phones will be announced on August 20, but the Pixel 10 Pro Fold 's release has apparently been delayed, with a recent report saying it won't begin shipping until October. Samsung is back to owning the foldable game after the Fold 7, which is why Google will have to try a little harder with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold to stay competitive.

Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ review
Infinix continues to push its affordable Hot series forward with the latest addition - the Hot 60 Pro+. Designed to appeal to budget-conscious buyers without compromising on style or essentials, the new model refines the formula laid out by its predecessors while maintaining the spirit of the lineup - accessible smartphones that look and feel more premium than their price tag suggests. The Hot series has long been Infinix's answer to entry-level smartphone needs, and the Hot 60 Pro+ carries that mission confidently. Priced at $199, it sits comfortably in the lower end of the market, yet its presentation and spec sheet tell a more ambitious story. The phone is impressively thin and lightweight for its class, and the selection of vibrant colorways - some even with a shimmering finish - ensures it won't go unnoticed. Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ specs at a glance: Body: 164.0x75.8x6.0mm, 155g; Glass front (Gorilla Glass 7i), plastic back, plastic frame; IP65 dust tight and water resistant (low pressure water jets), Drop resistant up to 1.5m. 164.0x75.8x6.0mm, 155g; Glass front (Gorilla Glass 7i), plastic back, plastic frame; IP65 dust tight and water resistant (low pressure water jets), Drop resistant up to 1.5m. The Hot 60 Pro+ shares much of its hardware DNA with the Tecno Spark 40 Pro+, which is hardly surprising given that both Infinix and Tecno fall under the Transsion Holdings umbrella. This kind of cross-brand overlap is not unusual and often helps deliver solid value at a low price point. Let's take a closer look at what the Hot 60 Pro+ brings to the table. Unboxing The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ comes in a thick cardboard two-piece box. It is colored in two shades of green and tends to stand out on a shelf. The packaging appears to be entirely made of cardboard, which is eco-friendly. Even so, there is a cradle for the actual phone on the inside, keeping it safe in transit. Infinix doesn't skimp when it comes to the accessory package. You get a 45W Infinix-branded USB Type-A fast charger in the box and a nice thick USB Type-A to Type-C cable to go along with it. The cable appears to be standard and not proprietary with extra pins, which is a nice little bonus since you don't necessarily have to worry about keeping it safe. Beyond that, there is also a transparent hard snap-on shell-style case in the box and a tempered glass screen protector, plus all of the accessories needed to properly install it on the phone. iPhone 17 Air's chipset detailed
Vlad, 12 August 2025 The iPhone 17 family is rumored to be launching on September 9. Ahead of that, there have been countless rumors telling us that the iPhone 17 Air will replace the iPhone 16 Plus in Apple's roster, due to the latter's lackluster sales performance. But this leaves a mystery regarding which chipset the Air will go with. Will it be a Pro SoC or not? Apple's Pro iPhones obviously use the Pro chipset, but the Air is not a Pro, so will it have the same chip as the vanilla iPhone 17? A new rumor out of China says no to that, revealing that in fact the Air will use the A19 Pro SoC. But there's a small catch. It won't be exactly the same A19 Pro chip that will feature in the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Instead, the Air's version will have a lesser GPU, with one less core. That's the only difference. So while the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max's A19 Pro will come with six GPU cores, the iPhone 17 Air's will have just five. The iPhone 17 Air's screen will also reportedly not be quite at the level of the iPhone 17 Pro's, according to the same source. The Air is now rumored to be 5.65mm to 5.7mm thick. This rumor contradicts a previous one from July, which claimed the iPhone 17 Air would be equipped with the A19 chip just like the iPhone 17. Obviously, we can't be sure which one is accurate.
