Three dead in horror two-car crash
The crash happened near Bolinda, about 55km north of Melbourne, on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Bolinda-Darraweit Road about 7.20am.
'Three people from one of the vehicles, who have yet to be formally identified, died at the scene,' the police said on Sunday.
'The fourth occupant from that car was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.'
Paramedics took the driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle with non life-threatening injuries.
'The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing,' the police said.
'Anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage or any other information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.'

HAZLE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) says four people are dead and one man was sent to the hospital after a Hazle Township crash that led to a fatal car fire. In a release, troopers say just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning, crews were called to a crash on the Cando Expressway, or State Route 924, west of its intersection with Oakridge Road. During their investigation, state police say that the driver of the car was traveling north on the Cando Expressway, lost control, and crossed over into the oncoming lane. Troopers explained that the car then began to spin, left the roadway to the right, hitting multiple trees, then spun around and came to a stop on its passenger side. Troopers went on to say the four unidentified passengers of the car were unable to leave the car fire and were pronounced dead on the scene. State police say the passengers who died in the fire were unable to be identified due to the extent of their injuries and are pending identification by the coroner. The man pulled from the car was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment of their injuries, the release says. Woman, 17, killed in Fairhaven 3-car crash. What we know
A Fairhaven teenager has died in a multiple-vehicle crash on Route 6. According to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, Fairhaven police and EMS and Massachusetts State Police reported to the scene of a crash at Route 6 and Jeannette Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. on July 5. There, police found a 2009 silver Nissan Sentra in the eastbound side of Route 6 facing west with 'catastrophic front-end damage,' the DA's office stated. The Sentra's driver, a 17-year-old woman from Fairhaven, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 2021 black Ford F-250 was at the scene with heavy front-end damage, on the westbound side of the road lying on its side. The Ford's occupants, a man and woman in their 20s, were hospitalized with minor injuries. A 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 sustained minor front-end damage; its two occupants were not hurt. Death toll rises to 27 in Pakistan building collapse as rescue ends
KARACHI, Pakistan — The death toll from a collapsed multistory residential building in Pakistan's Karachi city rose to 27 on Sunday as a three-day rescue operation ended, officials said. Rescuers pulled 11 more bodies from the rubble of the building that collapsed on Friday, according to Dr. Summayya Tariq, the Karachi police surgeon. Ten people were injured and one of them died at a hospital, she said.
