‘Shah Rukh Khan handed the keys to his Pajero as soon as I asked,' recalls Tiku Talsania: ‘He won't hesitate to do anything for you'
In a chat with Lallantop Cinema, Tiku was asked if Shah Rukh's attitude changed as he became a bigger star in the industry. The actor immediately said, 'Not at all.' He added, 'He is a fantastic actor and he is the same. If I meet him anywhere, he would still be the same. My daughter (Shikha Talsania, actor) met him recently. She said 'Papa, we spoke for 10 minutes and for 7 minutes, he only spoke about you.' And that's a very big thing for me, I feel honoured by that gesture.'
Tiku Talsania then recalled an anecdote from the making of Oh Darling Yeh Hai India when Shah Rukh Khan had just bought his Pajero. 'During Oh Darling Yeh Hai India, he had bought a red Pajero. I asked him 'Sir, ek round maru kya? (Sir, can I drive it a little?)' Because I had never been inside a Pajero. He said, 'Le jaa chabi (Take the keys)' and I drove it a little. Then he asked 'Kaisi lagi gaadi? (How did you like the car?)' I said, 'Great',' he shared and added, 'He is that kind of a man. He will not hesitate to do anything for you. He has worked hard to make Mannat, to reach this stage.'

Tiku also worked with Shah Rukh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas, where he played the driver Dharamdas. He shared that during the scene where Devdas' father has died, Shah Rukh drank a quarter of Old Monk rum because he wanted the alcohol to reflect in his eyes. 'In Devdas, when we were doing the scene where his father dies, he was taking shots of Old Monk so I asked him, 'We just have to act. What are you doing so seriously?' He said 'Nahi sir, aankhon mein nahi dikhayi degi sharab. Sharab aankhon mein dikhayi deni chahiye isliye main pee raha hun. (No sir, the alcohol won't show in my eyes. It has to reflect in my eyes, that's why I am drinking.)' I said, 'Fantastic, and look at how he has performed that scene. Though being drunk because he must have had at least a quarter of a bottle of rum and it was so hot so he was sweating. That is the involvement of an actor,' he said.

'Hindu' Gauri Khan On Respecting Shah Rukh Khan's Religion: 'Doesn't Mean I'd Become A Muslim'
Last Updated: Gauri Khan once shared how she keeps her Hindu faith alive, celebrates Diwali despite being married to Muslim Shah Rukh Khan and navigates a loving interfaith home. Gauri Khan has quietly but firmly shown how to balance love, faith and family. Married to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for 34 years, she has maintained her Hindu identity while embracing an interfaith household. From leading Diwali poojas to navigating her husband's Islamic traditions, Gauri has created a home where respect and celebration of both religions flourish. Long before Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan wedding in October 1991, Gauri's parents worried about her converting to Islam. 'There was a lot of concern," she recalled, as even attempts were made to change Shah Rukh's name to Abhinav. She later called the idea 'unnecessary and childish." Shah Rukh lightened tense moments with his signature humour, joking that Gauri might wear a burkha and adopt a Muslim name, which briefly shocked her family. On Koffee With Karan, Gauri discussed her religion 'There is a balance, I respect Shah Rukh's religion but that doesn't mean that I would convert and become a Muslim. I don't believe in that. I think everybody is an individual and follow their religion. But, obviously there should be no disrespect. Like Shah Rukh would not disrespect my religion as well." Shah Rukh Khan And Gauri Celebrating Diwali And Eid With Their Children Gauri leads Diwali celebrations, while Shah Rukh takes charge of Eid. Speaking on Ladies First, she explained how the children enjoy both festivals: 'Our kids embrace both festivals, often following Shah Rukh's lead, and enjoy celebrating both Diwali and Eid." Shah Rukh has shared that this dual-religion upbringing sometimes left the children confused. In a 2013 interview with Outlook Turning Points, he said he would respond with humour that they are Indian first, and their core identity is humanity, jokingly referencing a Hindi film song. Beyond being Shah Rukh's wife, Gauri has built a formidable career as a film producer, fashion designer, and celebrity interior designer. She was named one of Fortune Magazine's '50 Most Powerful Women" in 2018 and appeared on the cover of Vogue India in 2008, earning the title 'First Lady of Bollywood." She continues to maintain her individuality while raising Aryan, Suhana, and Abram, blending traditions and modern family values. Mohit Suri says he was inspired by ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' to become a director: 'Imagine working for Aditya Chopra today'
Saiyaara director Mohit Suri still remembers the moment he decided he had to be a director. It was while watching Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, at Mumbai's Gaiety Galaxy, he liked it so much that he watched it twice. Going as far as purchasing the ticket in black for the second time. Aditya Chopra 's iconic Yash Raj Films had a lasting impression on him that he never forgot. Now, years later, Mohit has come full circle with Saiyaara under the YRF banner — a film that's taken his career to a new high, even beyond the success of his earlier hits. Speaking to News18, Mohit Suri looked back at the moment. 'My aim in life over here is to work with some really great people, and I'm so happy I'm getting to do that. There is the money — it's superb. But, just hanging out with people. Like, I was in the 8th grade seeing Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in the theatre, in Gaiety Galaxy. And I called my dad to see it again, and I bought a ticket in black. I saw that film and said, 'I want to be a director'. And imagine working for him [Aditya Chopra] today. That was a big moment for me. It was a fanboy moment, and I'm really grateful for that." Even though the film faced stiff competition from movies like, Anupam Kher's 'Tanvi: The Great', Sonakshi Sinha's 'Nikita Roy', 'Mahavatar Narsimha', Ajay Devgn's 'Son of Sardaar 2', and Triptii Dimri–Sidhant Chaturvedi's 'Dhadak 2', Saiyaara has exceeded expectations thanks to a lot of popular support and positive feedback from the audience. In typical Mohit Suri fashion, the romantic drama follows the relationship between a talented but struggling singer named Ahaan and a passionately devoted writer named Aneet as they are put to the test by life's obstacles. The movie explores problems related to sacrifice, loss, and eternal love. Saiyaara, the first collaboration between Mohit Suri and renowned production company Yash Raj Films, was written by Rohan Shankar and Sankalp Sadanah and includes notable performances by Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Sid Makkar, Shaad Randhawa, Rajesh Kumar, and Varun Badola.
