The post Bills' Shane Buechele drops Josh Allen wedding photos appeared first on ClutchPoints.
Buffalo Bills quarterback and former Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winner Shane Buechele shared photos from the wedding of Bills quarterback Josh Allen and singer-actress Hailee Steinfeld. The reigning NFL MVP tied the knot with the Pitch Perfect 2 star in an intimate ceremony at the picturesque San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, on May 31, 2025.
Many of Allen's teammates attended, including Dawson Knox, Spencer Brown, Mitch Trubisky, and Buechele himself. Buechele arrived with his wife, Paige, and their newborn daughter. On Instagram, Paige posted photos of their elegant wedding outfits, joining the celebration of Allen and Steinfeld's special day.
Buechele's football journey has taken many turns. After going undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs that May. The Chiefs initially waived him and placed him on the practice squad. Later, they promoted him to the active roster in November, though he remained inactive for games. In the 2022 season, Buechele stayed on the roster but still didn't see action. Still, as a member of the Chiefs, he earned a Super Bowl LVII ring after Kansas City's win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
In August 2023, Buechele signed with the Bills and joined their practice squad. The Chiefs brought him back on a reserve/future contract in January 2024. Unfortunately, a neck injury sidelined him for the entire season. Determined to return, Buechele re-signed with Buffalo on a one-year deal. He now hopes to secure a spot in the Bills' quarterback room.
Allen and Steinfeld began dating in May 2023 but kept the relationship secret until going public in July 2024. A few months later, Allen proposed in November, and the couple announced their engagement a week afterward. Teammate Dion Dawkins, an offensive lineman, accidentally spoiled some wedding details. Realizing his slip, Dawkins quickly backtracked whenever asked about it again.
Despite staying silent on social media, several wedding photos of Allen and Steinfeld surfaced online. Even New York Governor Kathy Hochul extended congratulations, celebrating the NFL's newest 'power couple.' As they embark on this exciting new chapter, fans and teammates alike cheer them on, both on the field and in life.

Why Shedeur Sanders approached Tony Grossi over 'negative' coverage

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders put on a show in Charlotte on Friday night, but he also had some choice words for longtime Cleveland radio host and journalist Tony Grossi. Sanders approached Grossi, alleging that the Cleveland media personality "only [says] negative stuff about [Sanders]" and that he's never done anything to Grossi in the past. The two did share a brief laugh in the awkward encounter, but Sanders seemed adamant that Grossi hasn't been treating him fairly since he got to Cleveland as a fifth round 2025 NFL Draft selection. "What did I do to you, Tony?" Sanders asked as he walked away from the encounter. Grossi is an established media figure in the area, and we're sure this isn't the first time he's been confronted by a Cleveland player over negative coverage of a long-suffering sports franchise. Sanders performed admirably in his first NFL preseason start, and we're sure Grossi will give him a fair shake with those encouraging reps. However, both participants in this exchange are occupying typical roles in sports and media. Neither is technically in the wrong, even if Sanders took a very direct approach to his frustration. Sanders has a right to be annoyed by Grossi's coverage as much as Grossi has a right to his opinions of Sanders, positive or negative. While most players don't go about it in such a direct way as Sanders did, it can come with the territory of being a vocal sports personality in the media. As Sanders gets older, he may find different avenues to vent his frustration with folks like Grossi. However, how he plays and if he's successful or not will ultimately drive most of the discourse around his career. When will Sanders play again? Cleveland will head to Philadelphia to play the Eagles on Saturday, Aug. 16. This article originally appeared on For The Win: Why did Shedeur Sanders approached Tony Grossi over 'negative' coverage?

Jamie Lee Curtis calls out film critic's 'harsh' review of 'Freakier Friday'

Jamie Lee Curtis is slamming a negative review of her new movie "Freakier Friday." After Time magazine posted an Instagram caption with its film critic Stephanie Zacharek's take on the beloved 2003 film's sequel (in theaters now), the Oscar winner slammed the reviewer's opinion. The Aug. 8 caption said Zacharek wrote that "no one, as far as we know, actually asked Disney for a sequel to 2003's buoyant, surprisingly unsyrupy generation-gap comedy 'Freaky Friday.'" In response, Curtis commented that the review "SEEMS a TAD HARSH. SOME people LOVE it. Me being one." Fashion designer Brandon Maxwell defended the film in the comments, writing "I really loved this movie ❤️" while online travel agency Expedia joked that Zacharek's review "sounds like someone needs a vacation 👀 May we suggest a digital detox to Nantucket spending your day taking in charming streets and peaceful beaches?" 'Parent Trap' reunion! Lindsay Lohan explains Elaine Hendrix's 'Freakier Friday' cameo The new film picks up over two decades after angsty high school student Anna Coleman (Lindsay Lohan) swapped bodies with her mom, psychologist Tess Coleman (Curtis). This time, Anna is mom to a teenage daughter of her own, Harper Coleman (Julia Butters). And Tess is now a podcast host and overbearing grandmother. Chad Michael Murray reprises his role as Jake, a motorcycle riding heartthrob. In her review, Zacharek also wrote that the sequel "is a movie that manages to humiliate everybody." "And it appears to exist largely for one reason: to grift off the fondness many adults have for the original, even though the sequel has none of that picture's breezy, observant charm," she added. In a recent interview with USA TODAY, the 66-year-old Curtis opened up about returning to her matriarchal character over 20 years later. "There was no possible way we could have done a sequel to 'Freaky Friday' until Lindsay (who is 39) was old enough chronologically to be the mother of a 15-year-old," Curtis said. "So this just needed a time to cook." Curtis realized Lohan had finally aged into the role during the release of "Halloween Ends" in 2022. "I counted on my fingers, and I was like, 'How old is she?'" Curtis said. "I think she was 35 at the time. I was like: 'Oh, wait a minute! She could've had a baby at 20!' " "I picked up the phone and called (Disney CEO) Bob Iger and said, 'I'm just letting you know I've been around the world and the only thing people want to know is when is there a "Freaky Friday" (sequel) and Lindsay is old enough to have a 15-year-old,'" Curtis revealed.
