Major Corrie couple not getting back together as icon puts to bed reunion claims

Metro7 days ago
Coronation Street fans have had their hopes dashed for a reunion between Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) after recent scenes.
Asha and Nina were a fan favourite couple after they fell in love in 2021, though things came to a devastating end after Nina shared an ill-advised kiss with Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain).
In recent scenes, they have been getting on well, which has sparked suspicions among fans that they may be set to reunite.
However, Asha set the record straight in tonight's episode when Aadi also questioned the future of their relationship after the girls shared a hug.
She made it clear that things were over between her and Nina, before shifting the focus of the conversation to Aadi's love life.
It seems that the ship has well and truly sailed for Asha and Nina's relationship, with actresses Tanisha Gorey and Mollie Gallagher confirming as much at the British Soap Awards earlier this year.
'I love Mollie [Gallagher] and I love Asha and Nina,' Tanisha told Metro. 'I think their differences are what bring them together and I think they're amazing together. I love them.
'However, the pathetic kiss that Nina and Aadi shared, I just think Asha couldn't come back from that, purely based on you've not only cheated but you've cheated with her brother. Her twin brother! I'm like, no. It's a big no go. That's it – done, blocked. More Trending
'However, I like them being friends. I don't know if they'll put them back together. I don't know where Asha's love life is leading right now.'

Meanwhile, Mollie is keen for Nina to have another alternative character to interact with, be that a relationship or just a friend.
'I really want Nina to have a partner. I think I would love another alternative character, whether it's just a friend, or a partner for Nina, I think that feels important to me.

'She's got other friends on the street but I miss the little thing she had with Seb [Franklin]. Seb had the slight edge as well. I miss that, even the small talk. I think that's important for Nina's character. I hope there's more of that soon.'

Corrie exit story confirmed in early ITVX release as sad decision is made

This article contains spoilers for tonight's Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX. A Coronation Street exit has been confirmed as Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) received news from a social worker in tonight's episode. Sally and husband Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) have been fostering the Michaelis kids, following their parents' arrests. Mick Michaelis was arrested and charged with the murder of Craig Tinker earlier this year, while Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) was arrested for her assault on Gary Windass (Mikey North). In tonight's scenes, Sally found out that Lou planned to plead guilty to the assault, meaning she would be facing a lengthy prison stretch. Following the news, Sally agreed to take Joanie and Shanice to see their mum, and asked Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) if he wanted to join them. Brody agreed to go along, though once they arrived at the prison he was clearly hostile toward Lou. With the kids out of earshot, Lou defended Brody to Sally, pointing out that this was his way of showing that he was upset. She went on to confess that she knew she was going to be behind bars for a long time, and asked Sally for a favour. Lou had previously asked Sally to pay for an expensive lawyer, and Sally reiterated that she couldn't afford one, though Lou insisted that wasn't what she was going to ask for. More Trending Emotional, she requested that Sally not bring the children to see her anymore, explaining that she didn't want their prison visits to be their core memories of her. Determined to do right by Brody, Joanie and Shanice, Sally agreed. Hollyoaks confirms major death as killer Jez claims another victim in exit story

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday's (July 22) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm. Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) has struck again, claiming the life of Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) in dramatic and intense scenes. Bobby, as viewers know, was serving time in prison after killing Verity Hutchinson (Eva O'Hara) and Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle). He also left Sylver McQueen (David Tag) to die in a fire and almost killed DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) when he set a blaze at Price Slice. Bobby escaped from the young detention centre a number of weeks ago and resolved to subsequently return, hoping to finish his sentence so that he could return home and live his life with mum Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) by his side. Serial killer Jez, however, complicated the situation when he murdered social worker Ian, with Bobby becoming the police's prime suspect in the crime. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Bobby worked out Jez's involvement courtesy of Martha (Sherrie Hewson) and the two came to some sort of twisted agreement, with Bobby assisting Jez in planting Dilly Harcourt's (Emma Johnsey-Smith) DNA on items belonging to another victim of his – Dennis. Bobby subsequently sought shelter at the McQueen residence, much to the shock of Mercedes, who desperately tried to get him out of the house without Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) seeing. After a heart-to-heart with his mum, Bobby revealed his plan to hand himself in to the police but Jez got wind of such a thing and gave chase. Tony, meanwhile, also set off to locate fugitive Bobby, still harbouring feelings of upset towards the teen given his role in Verity's demise. Knowing Jez was a killer, Bobby hightailed it out of dodge by stealing a cab, which broke down on the side of the road. In upsetting scenes, Jez proceeded to loom over the boy, who stumbled to the floor. The gardener-turned-serial-killer then struck the teen with a large rock which he found nearby. Tony, meanwhile, spotted the broken down cab – and did his best to avoid it. However, he drove over something – presumably Bobby – in the process. More Trending Jez grinned with glee, ecstatic to have eliminated yet another threat, as he told John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) – who was asleep in the cab – that this is who he is. Chilling. Will Tony find himself facing the blame? And just how will Mercedes react when she learns what's happened? But, we are here to help you sift through and find the absolute best beauty buys. One of which is P. Louise's Rumour Base, which is a multi-purpose product that is flying off the shelves. According to the brand, one tube of the Rumour Base is sold every minute, which is quite something. So what is all the hype? This base is not only suitable for use on the delicate eye area, but the rest of the face too. It is ultra pigmented and a little goes a long way. Simply sweep on the eyelid as an eyeshadow primer, under the eye as a primer before concealer, or colour match to apply as a concealer itself. It also doubles as a foundation, though you can loosen the texture with a moisturiser to apply as a lightweight tinted moisturiser. Alternatively, apply on specific areas of the face as a contour or highlighter. Available in 12 shades, including a clear option, all of which come in either a 15ml or 30ml tube. BUY NOW FOR £10 The Rumour Base is not only super affordable, but when you consider how many products it is in one it makes for an even more cost effective beauty purchase. P. Louise's Rumour Base initially functioned as an eye primer to prevent creases under the eye after layering concealer or foundation, as well as an eyeshadow primer. However, it can be used in numerous other ways. The P. Louise Rumour Base is available in 12 shades, including a clear option to blend seamlessly into the skin. Considering it is a gentle product to use on the eye area and the fact it's available in numerous shades means you can also apply all over the face as a primer or foundation too. Apply the clear option on the eyes, as well as full face for a primer, alternatively find the perfect skin tone match to wear under the eyes or buffed all over the skin like a full-coverage foundation for a flawless complexion. If you prefer a tinted moisturiser, simply blend with a moisturiser and buff into the skin to loosen the consistency. While it can be used as a skin base, the Rumour Base can also be relied on as a contour, bronzer and highlighter simply by blending a slightly brighter or deeper shade along the highpoints of the face. The beauty of the Rumour Base is it is ultra-pigmented for full coverage, though it can be sheered down with a moisturiser if you prefer a lightweight texture and second-skin finish. The cream formula is also long wearing so you can be sure your make-up will stay in place for hours of wear without creasing or catching in the pores. The Rumour Base comes in two sizes, a miniature 15ml and 30ml version, so you can take it on the go. With over 1,200 reviews it's safe to say this versatile product is a hit with shoppers. More Trending One customer, Aleksandra, shared: 'Perfect base, doesn't crease. I am absolutely in love with it.' A second shopper, named Mackenzie, added: 'This is THE BEST eyeshadow primer I have ever used. I am never going to use another primer ever again. It sits so smoothly and it's never drying. 10000/10. I love it.' While another gushed: 'As a make-up artist, your brand is my favorite to use! I haven't found another that compares!'
