Hollyoaks confirms Sienna's fate as aftermath of Jez showdown is revealed

Metro4 days ago
Hollyoaks has confirmed that Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) will live following her showdown with dastardly killer Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) – but an unexpected twist follows.
The much-loved show favourite, as viewers know, uncovered the truth about evil dad Jez earlier this week after finding Robbie Roscoe's (Charlie Wernham) body at the allotment.
Robbie was one of several characters killed by serial killer Jez, who has been claiming lives for much of his, documenting his kills in a disturbing journal which he keeps at the flat.
Sienna had some knowledge of Jez's brutality when she discovered that he'd killed Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith) earlier this year and, in unsettling scenes, she assisted him in burying the body.
Jez vowed that he had turned over a new leaf and Sienna hoped that he was telling the truth. However, things took quite a turn last week when she learned via Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) that Dilly's DNA had been found in connection with Dennis and Ian Stone the social worker.
Given that Dilly died in January and Ian was killed just a matter of weeks ago, it didn't take long for Sienna to work out that something was awry.
Desperate for answers, the former high school teacher made a beeline for the allotment, where she uncovered Jez's grisly crimes, unearthing the body of Robbie Roscoe, who had also been killed by the murderer.

Monday's (August 11) edition of the Channel 4 soap dealt with the aftermath of the discovery as Sienna demanded that Jez come clean over his actions.
Jez wasted little time in showing just how twisted he truly is, basking in his killer nature as he told Sienna he was relieved that he no longer had to hide from her.
Utterly appalled by the depths of his evilness, Sienna feared for the lives of her loved ones, reminding him that he's already killed family members in Dilly and Dennis.

In tense scenes, Sienna raced across the city walls and made a phone call to Dodger – but Jez intervened.
A dramatic face-off ensued, with Sienna pushing her villainous dad away. As he teetered on the edge of the faulty railing, he pulled Sienna with him as the two plummeted to the ground below.
The immediate aftermath of the showdown will be revealed on-screen this week but new spoilers for next week confirm that both Sienna and Jez escape the situation with their lives intact.
Their memories, however… well that's another story.
In upcoming scenes set to air next week, Sienna tells Jez and Liberty Savage (Jeramy Stoddart) that it's looking unlikely that will ever regain the lost memories. Liberty worries that SIenna is keeping something from Jez.
It seems there is more to this than meets the eye as, at one stage during the week, Sienna logs on to a chatroom, hoping for advice on having a serial killer as a father. Later, she frantically tries to sell the stall and stock, much to Lib's horror. More Trending
Afterwards, Sienna pays a visit to see Dodger at the station but before she gets to speak to him, Jez arrives. The question is: is the truth coming back to Sienna? And either way, will Jez claim her life?
Or is the clock finally ticking on the villainous gardener?
Will Sienna prove instrumental in taking him down? Will Liberty finally see him for who he is?

Derry Girls star marries Scots DJ Denis Sulta in Irish ceremony with surprise Scottish twist

Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Scots DJ Denis Sulta tied the knot in a three-day wedding celebration in County Kerry attended by her Derry Girls co-star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell. Scots DJ Denis Sulta has tied the knot with Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson in a stunning three-day wedding celebration in Ireland. Sulta, whose real name is Hector Barbour, and the Northern Irish star, best known for playing Erin Quinn in the Channel 4 sitcom, exchanged vows at Dromquinna Manor in County Kerry. ‌ The pair, who have been engaged since Denis' romantic 2023 proposal on Donegal beach, honoured their Celtic roots as they said "I do" in front of their nearest and dearest. Among those in attendance was Saoirse's Derry Girls co-star, Jamie Lee-O'Donnell, better known as Michelle in the show, who was her bridesmaid, and Sulta's mum, Muriel Gray. ‌ Denis and Saoirse were both seen grinning from ear to ear as they celebrated their big day together. The 32-year-old DJ, from Glasgow, was dressed in a full piece kilt in a Hebridean MacKenzie tartan by MacGregor and MacDuff while the Irish star looked sensational in a custom made dress by Annie Doble of Annie's Ibiza, which she described as 'Celtic warrior princess'. ‌ Her dress was made up of a short puffed sleeved corseted bodice with an asymmetric skirt that had a long trail at the back. However, she also made sure to honour her husband's Scottish roots as she surprised him when revealing the gown featured a reversible tartan print. The 31-year-old told Vogue: "We wanted both of our cultures and our families and friends to be at the centre of it." That was not the only surprise thrown in on the day as the actress' dad also changed into a Darth Vader costume in the evening and she arranged a singer dressed as Elphaba from Wicked, as well as an Irish storyteller. ‌ The three-day extravaganza is also said to have featured Irish music, Guinness on tap and photography by Story of Eve with around 160 guests in attendance. Saoirse told the Daily Mail:"Dancing went well into the early hours, we were in bed at 4.30am, but some were out until 7am so there were a few sore heads the next day. ‌ "Then we had buses pick everyone up and take them to a pub down the road, before we headed back and kept partying at the bar!" The This City is Ours star has taken to Instagram to post a series of moments from their wedding weekend as she wrote: "To all our loved ones, you are everything." She also shared her Vogue cover photoshoot of her posing in her wedding dress and enormously high heels. In the weeks before the wedding, Saoirse celebrated her boujee hen do in Montreux, Switzerland with all of her closest friends. Sporting a bride cowboy hat, she wrote on Instagram: "The best weekend with the most gorgeous people. I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends and family. Incredible."

Sandi Toksvig to hunt for undiscovered treasures in new archaeological series

The former Great British Bake Off presenter and comedienne will meet Britain's professional and amateur history hunters to capture the stories of treasures as they are unearthed for the first time in hundreds of years. Toksvig, 67, will be joined by archaeologist Raksha Dave and a team of experts excavating the sites and meeting local experts to help share the history of the most remarkable finds. The show, titled Sandi Toksvig's Hidden Wonders, will be aired in four parts, Channel 4 said. Toksvig said: 'This is the dream job for a history and archaeology enthusiast like me. 'It is a total privilege to be given access to professional archaeological dig sites and to join Raksha and the teams as they dig to reveal the history of our country from right beneath our feet.' Dave, an author and TV presenter, said: 'It's so wonderful to share this experience with Sandi. 'Together, we travel across the UK to join archaeological teams as they uncover astonishing stories from our collective past. 'We're both thrilled to bring archaeology back to the heart of Channel 4 – engaging audiences in a fun, approachable and compelling format that offers real insight into how people lived and the communities helping to rediscover their stories.' Production company Salamanda Media has been commissioned to make the series. In a second announcement on Friday, Channel 4 said the Rev Richard Coles will voyage around the British isles to four of the 31 areas mapped out by the shipping forecast, in a new series for More4. The broadcaster and writer will discover the beauty of estuaries, oceans, channels and coastlines and meet residents of the Faeroes, Lundy, Thames and Wight to learn about life at sea and by the waterside, during the series titled Sailing The Shipping Forecast. The 64-year-old said: 'For years I've listened to the shipping forecast with only half an idea of where these exotic-sounding places are. 'I'm very excited to be a part of this journey around the country and feel privileged to meet just some of the maritime communities of our coasts.' The four-part series has been commissioned by Channel 4 from Glasgow-based Strawberry Blond TV.
