Are Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson in a fauxmance? Friends reveal the naked truth about their relationship
A source close to the couple told Page Six, 'It's very sincere how they feel. That is the truth.' They added, 'They're not going to show up on the red carpet and be adorable just to be fake, that's not either of them.' Pamela and Liam first met last summer on the set of The Naked Gun reboot, which was shot in Atlanta. The movie is a remake of the 1988 comedy that originally starred Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley. While they didn't stay in touch for a while after filming, sources say they recently 'rekindled' their bond. During a recent interview, the two played along their romance buzz, even pretending to kiss on the Today show before brushing it off as just a 'joyful experience' on set. At the New York premiere, they posed for photos with their kids, Pam's sons Brandon and Dylan, and Liam's sons Micheál and Daniel.

Liam, now 73, had said he was done with dating, and Pamela, 58, has been through a lot in her love life, married five times and involved in multiple affairs, which ended on a messy note, including with Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Rick Salomon, and Adil Rami. She's also had a short-lived marriage to her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst and even a rumoured romance with Julian Assange. Despite all, she's rebuilt her life. She now lives quietly in Canada and focuses on a healthy lifestyle. She's also been making big comebacks lately, including her Golden Globes-nominated performance in The Last Showgirl.
As for Liam, he gave a major hint about his feelings for her last year when he said, 'I'm madly in love' and called her 'terrific to work with.' Pamela told ET, their connection is 'sincere and loving' and that Liam is a 'good guy.' Friends and family close to Pamela believe Liam is actually the best man she's ever dated, calling him 'a gentleman' and 'very present.' Even Andy Cohen, a close friend of Liam's late wife, Natasha Richardson, has given the couple his blessing. 'She's an independent woman, just like Tash was,' he said on his radio show, adding that the relationship 'just works.'

Titled Pamela, a Love Story and her memoir Love, Pamela, the doc mentions several instances of sexual abuse before age 18, including one where she was molested by a 25-year-old when she was just 12. She also revealed the violent nature of her marriage to Tommy Lee, who served jail time for assaulting her. In recent years, Pamela has stayed away from Hollywood drama. Meanwhile, Liam has mostly stayed single since Natasha Richardson's tragic death in a ski accident in 2009. He did have a relationship with PR exec Freya St. Johnston for two years but has kept a low profile since.

How Malegaon Ke Sholay's crew of locals changed the way the iconic Dharmendra-Amitabh-starrer is seen
The climax of Sholay, the tense standoff between Gabbar Singh's gang and Jai and Veeru on a precarious wooden bridge, remains one of the most emotionally charged scenes in Indian cinema. Suspended high on a rickety bridge, the moment distilled the grit and heart of the film masterfully captured by cinematographer Dwarka Divecha. Nearly 25 years after Sholay was released, 28-year-old Nasir Shaikh from Malegaon paid homage to that very scene in a way only Malegaon could. Using 12 bamboo sticks and a handcart, Nasir recreated a miniature version of the bridge for his low-budget spoof film Malegaon Ke Sholay, a parody that would go on to spark a cottage industry of spoof films in the town. While the rest of the two-hour film leaned into slapstick humour, the bridge scene remained untouched: it was the only moment in the film treated with solemnity. Nasir, now 53, says the choice to keep the scene serious was deliberate. 'That captured the heart of Sholay. Tampering with it would have felt like erasing a sacred moment. It was my favourite scene in the original and it became my favourite in our version too. I think it was our tribute to Sholay, with whatever little we had,' says Nasir. Also Read | Dancing Queen: Why the magic of Helen in 'Mehbooba, mehbooba' hasn't faded with the years A series of two bomb blasts one in 2006 and another in 2008 cast a long shadow over Malegaon, fueling perceptions of Muslim alienation and leading to the arrest of several young men unfairly branding the town as a cradle of radicalism. It was, however, men like Nasir who changed that. Malegaon ki Sholay was his fifth and most expensive film made in 2000 on a budget of Rs 50000. Written by Akram Khan and Hamid Subhani, it was shot with local actors in two months. 'There were so many doubts. Where do we get so many horses? How could we recreate Gabbar's rocky lair or the train sequence,' says Nasir. The film made over Rs two lakh in ticket sales. He later sold the rights to a music company for Rs 20,000. Unfortunately, because of copyright restrictions, Malegaon Ke Sholay cannot be uploaded or screened widely today. But it's a film that warms his heart. 'I'm proud that people would watch Sholay in a local theatre one day and still return to watch Malegaon Ke Sholay the next,' says Nasir. Also Read | Past Melodies: A look-back at the music of Sholay and what continues to make it timeless His work inspired numerous documentaries, including Superboys of Malegaon (2024), produced by Zoya Akhtar. 'Sholay is a perfect film. It speaks to every Indian. Even our humble version connected because everyone knew the original so well,' says Nasir.

Over 18 seasons as a starter, he led the Patriots to six Super Bowl championships and 17 division titles, cementing the team's status as perennial contenders. 'Tom Brady transformed the Patriots into a dynasty,' said Robert Kraft during last year's Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where he first announced plans for the statue. The 12-foot statue is more than a tribute; it's a testament to Brady's impact on the Patriots and the sport. From his improbable rise to his record-breaking achievements, Brady's tenure in Foxborough remains one of the most dominant runs in NFL history. The statue, strategically placed near the Patriots Hall of Fame, will serve as a lasting reminder of his contributions and an inspiration for future generations of players and fans.
