Early this morning, our Politics team reported that there is to be a roll-out of new cancer treatment technology as NHS hospitals.
The Department for Health and Social Care said the updated tech will cut rounds of radiotherapy and reach cancers in harder to treat areas like chest, abdomen and pelvis.
The government said that by March 2027 the new linear accelerator (LINAC) treatment machines will help 4,500 more patients get treatment faster. They are being rolled out in 28 hospitals across England from August - backed by £70million in funding to improve the nation's cancer care.
Meghan Markle's 'never-before-seen' list of demands that sparked Vogue feud'
Our Showbiz team reported that Meghan Markle's alleged outrageous demands reportedly led to a fall-out with one of her prominent friends - and lost her the chance to appear on the front cover of fashion bible Vogue.
According to new claims, the Duchess of Sussex piled so much pressure on the then-editor of Vogue UK Edward Enninful ahead of a potential appearance in the UK Vogue September 2022 issue that the pair fell out.
Meghan, 43, had been working with Edward on a collaboration for the prestigious fashion issue that would include her keynote appearance at the One Young World Summit in Manchester, along with "involved extensive features across the magazine and its digital editions".
Moment Emmanuel Macron's wife slaps him as he argues during official tour
Our World News team earlier today reported that there has been shocking new footage showing the moment Emmanuel Macron's wife appears to slap him during a heated argument on an official tour.
In footage taken yesterday evening at Hanoi airport, Macron's profile can be seen through the door of his official plane. Seconds later, his wife Brigette quickly raises a hand to his face, and appears to strike him. The French president looks surprised and turns to wave outside, before the couple begin to walk down the staircase. Emmanuel Macron then attempts to hold her hand, but she chooses not to take it, and instead holds onto the handrail of the walkway.
A source close to Macron speaking to French news channel BFMTV dismissed the incident as simply a married couple "bickering."
They added: "It was a moment for the President and his wife to unwind one last time before the start of the trip by having a little fun."

Skydiver Jade Damarell's tormented final days from 'boyfriend split to tragic letter'
This morning, our News team reported new details that have emerged about Jade Damarell's final days before she tragically plummeted to her death.
The death of thrill-seeking Ms Damarell, 32, a highly experienced skydiver, has been described as an "unimaginable loss" amid an investigation. The woman, who had completed more than 400 previous jumps, died instantly after hitting the ground at Wrefords' Farm in Shotton, County Durham. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood that Ms. Damarell, from Caerphilly, South Wales, had broken up with her boyfriend the day before her fatal skydive.
After splitting from her husband, she had been in a relationship with Ben Goodfellow, 26, a fellow skydiving enthusiast, for approximately six to eight months. The couple had been living together in a double room at a property near the airfield, rented specifically for parachutists, for several months, according to MailOnline.

Brigitte appeared to push her husband in his face as the pair were preparing to deboard a plane in Vietnam Sunday (25 May). The incident has gone viral and been coined 'le slap.' Trump was asked to comment on the exchange during an Oval Office news conference Friday (30 May). 'Do you have any world leader to world leader advice for the Macrons?' a reporter asked. Trump smiled and shook his head before responding, 'Make sure the door remains closed.' The president then suggested he spoke to Macron after the incident, adding 'They're fine. They're two really good people.'

Trump's advice to Macron after airplane shoving incident
By President Donald Trump revealed that he spoke to Emmanuel Macron following the shocking footage of the French president being shoved in the face by his wife, Brigitte. The moment got captured by the global media as the Macrons arrived in Hanoi. Brigitte Macron 's arms can be seen pushing Macron away on board the presidential aircraft in footage captured on the tarmac. 'There was a video of the First Lady of France slapping her husband, Emmanuel Macron,' Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked the president. 'Do you have any world leader-to-world leader marital advice?' Trump, who has been married three times, quipped in response: 'Make sure the door remains closed.' 'That was not good,' earning guffaws in the Oval Office, where he was holding a send-off press conference for DOGE head Elon Musk . 'I spoke to him,' Trump said of Macron. 'He's fine. They're fine. They're two really good people. I know him very well, and I don't know what that was all about,' Trump said, choosing his words carefully. 'But I know him very well, and they're fine.' That prompted an interjection from Musk. 'I know a little shiner here,' said the world's richest man, whose black eye was visible throughout the event Friday. Musk only later revealed the source of his injury. 'I was just horsing around with Little X,' Musk explained to the cameras and reporters. 'I said go ahead, punch me in the face.' 'And he did. Turns out even a five year old punching you in the face ...' Musk explained. During the incident that drew the question, Macron, 47, could be seen in Associated Press video getting shoved in the when his face touched down in Vietnam Sunday night. The video showed Brigitte's, 72, arms emerging from off camera to push the president's face - in a scene that was visible from below. Macron then turns to wave through the open door. The moment quickly made headlines around the world, pressing the French president to deny anything was wrong and claim that they were just playfighting. The couple have been especially close in the days since as they continue their state visit. The Elysee had been hoping that the visit to Vietnam would showcase France's reach into the Indo-Pacific, but it has been shadowed by the incident which occurred as the doors of the presidential plane swung open after landing in Hanoi Sunday. Judi James, a body language expert, told MailOnline that the Macrons have gone 'overkill' in their 'denial rituals' to silence the rumours, putting on a performance of 'newlywed-style body language presumably aimed at making us forget the gesture'. 'The pair seem set on trying to look closer than usual here,' she said as the couple were pictured together at a reception for members of the French community at the International French School (IFS) in Singapore on Friday. 'Brigitte is dressed in a very modest, pristine, funnel-neck off-white suit that would be entirely appropriate for a wedding, and she keeps her head tilted down so that her face peeps shyly out of her thatch-style hair.' Ms James added that there is now a 'coyly submissive-looking behaviour' from Ms Macron, pictured holding her husband's arm with both hands, 'clinging like a bridge leaving the church, leaning in to suggest closeness'. But one pose 'seems slightly off-message here', she suggests, when Brigitte 'suddenly takes a more dominant stance' and reaches her arm out in front of her husband with a pointing index figure, 'making her look less coy and more assertive'. Ms James assesses that the couple have made a point of showing closeness in a 'desperate' effort to 'pretend all is well' and deflect focus from the plane footage, which falls well outside of their usual polished look. 'When the pair sign a register they both cling to the pen,' she noted, referring to scenes from inside the Parliament House in Singapore on Friday. This was 'again like a bride and groom', she suggested. 'They seem to have stepped up their mirroring rituals with poses like the one of them clapping together in total synchronisation, providing a like-minded look of peas in a pod.' 'When they glance at each other Brigitte performs another coy facial expression, complete with a slightly flirty eye contact and with her lips pursed into a pout,' she added. 'Macron responds with what looks like an appreciative smile.' This is the third time this month that Macron has been the subject of viral video footage at a time when France says it is being targeted by repeated disinformation campaigns as Russia steps up attacks on Ukraine. Macron testily referred to the other incidents, including the images shot on the train to Kyiv where some accounts falsely claimed he shared cocaine. But the object Macron removed from the table when the media entered was a tissue. Erdogan, meanwhile, was filmed holding the president's finger at a summit. 'None of these are true,' Macron said of the videos. 'Everyone needs to calm down,' he added.

Trump offers Macron marriage advice after ‘shoving' incident
Donald Trump has offered Emmanuel Macron marital advice after the French president was shoved in the face by his wife Brigitte. Mr Macron and his wife sparked a global furore on Sunday after the French first lady was filmed pushing her husband into his face, moments before they exited their plane in Vietnam. Asked if he had any advice for his French counterpart, Mr Trump recommended they keep any physical confrontations out of public viewing. 'Make sure the door remains closed,' he quipped to reporters in the Oval Office, during a joint press conference with Elon Musk to mark the Tesla billionaire's departure from government. The president went on to pour cold water on speculation about a rift in the pair's marriage. 'They're fine,' Mr Trump said. 'They're two really good people I know very well, and I didn't know what that was all about, but I know him very well. And they're fine.' Mr Musk later joked that a black eye he was sporting during the press conference was not given to him by the French president's wife. 'I wasn't anywhere near France,' he said about the bruise, before explaining it was given to him by his five-year-old son, X, who he allegedly invited to punch him in the face. Footage, shot by the Associated press news agency in Hanoi, showed Mr Macron standing alone as the plane's door opened. Suddenly, the arms of his wife, who was off-camera, could be seen through the doorway emerging from the left before she pushed him in the face with both hands. Mr Macron appeared taken aback but swiftly regained his composure and turned to wave through the open door. The couple then walked down the plane's staircase without Mrs Macron taking her husband's hand. Footage of the incident, along with photographs of Mr Macron appearing to look angry, quickly spread on social media. The Elysée Palace initially claimed the footage was AI-generated, only to later admit the images were real but were in fact a sign of 'closeness' and horseplay after a 16-hour flight. 'It was a moment when the president and his wife were relaxing one last time before the start of the trip by having a laugh. It was a moment of closeness,' said an Elysée aide. Mr Macron later blamed 'crackpot' conspiracy theorists for seeking to intensify rumours around the state of his marriage. In a bid to quell speculation, Mr Macron and his wife made light of the shoving incident as they arrived in Indonesia on Wednesday. The president performed a tongue-in-cheek wave for the cameras before appearing at the top of the stairs laughing. Instead of a shove, after a few seconds of suspense, Mrs Macron appeared, all smiles. The couple then locked arms, and descended the stairs side-by-side to greet officials. Addressing the shoving incident, Mr Macron said: 'My wife and I were squabbling, or rather we were joking, and I was taken by surprise. Now it has become a kind of planetary catastrophe, and some are even coming up with theories.'
