Boots 'ideal for work or a date' XL £144 aftershave reduced to £66
Shoppers who enjoy this fragrance should not wait to take advantage of the popular product that is massively discounted
Hugo Boss' Bottled Night Eau de Toilette fragrance has been popular for years, with many men loving the strong, "intense and spicy" scent in numerous glowing reviews online. Now, there's an offer at Boots that is likely to make a great gift for fans and comes just in time for Father's Day this June.
Shoppers can get the extra-large version of this popular scent for £66.50. Normally, a bottle this big would cost £114, which means that fans of the fragrance could save themselves almost £50.
The large bottle is sure to last for months, even if it's splashed on generously. With over 400 glowing five-star reviews, it's clear to see why this aftershave has stood the test of time and remains a staple product for many men.
Boots is currently one of the best places to buy a huge bottle of the fragrance for less. If you're looking for a good deal on the 100ml version, Superdrug is selling it with a 45% discount for just £42 (down from £77).
In the reviews section on Boots' website, one said: "It's the perfect balance of fresh and sophisticated. It's light enough for everyday wear but still has a sharp, confident edge that makes it stand out - whether for work or a night out."
Another added: "An affordable, long-lasting scent, brought this for my boyfriend on multiple occasions. It's a strong scent but not overpowering that always smells so good."
A third wrote: "Bargain every day aftershave [that is] ideal for work. A classy scent that always attracts compliments." Someone else put in their review: "The fragrance is long-lasting and perfect for everyday use. Definitely a great choice!"
But not every person ended up being a fan. A shopper claimed: "Very disappointed. It has no smell at all - a waste of money!" And, another wrote: "Does not last even for 20 minutes. Only time you can smell it is when you put it on. I did not expect such a poor quality product from Hugo Boss."
You can get plenty of discounted men's fragrances, ideal to stash away for Father's Day on June 15. The Perfume Shop has a major discount on Hugo Boss The Scent For Him (100ml), down from £90 to £39.99.
Also, Amazon shoppers stand to make some savings too. The discounted Calvin Klein CKIN2U For Him Eau de Toilette is priced at £18 - but can be sold elsewhere for as much as £57.

Aldi launches Father's Day emergency gift box service
The supermarket chain has created an 'SOS Service' to help shoppers who have forgotten or don't have time to buy a gift for the big day. They are offering a limited number of exclusive 'Aldi SOS' gift boxes, designed to 'knock the socks off' any father or fatherly figure. These gift boxes will include a card to personalise, a bar of Aldi's Moser Roth Chocolate, and a pair of Aldi-themed socks. To be in with a chance of receiving a gift box, shoppers simply need to email their name and email address to SOSService@ Boxes will be sent out on a first-come, first-served basis, so shoppers are encouraged to act quickly. People will have until Thursday, June 12, to apply for a box, and winners will be contacted on or before Thursday to provide their delivery address. Full terms and conditions for this can be found on the Aldi website here. Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: 'We know how much occasions like Father's Day mean to our shoppers, and we're committed to offering quality gifts at affordable prices. 'Our SOS Service means our customers can celebrate their loved ones even if they're shopping last minute, helping to make Father's Day special for everyone.' A post shared by Aisle of Aldi Specialbuys (@aldispecialbuysuk) The date for Father's Day in the UK and the USA is always the same, taking place on the third Sunday in June. For 2025, this means it will fall on Sunday, June 15 and in 2026 it will be on Sunday, June 21. This is different to Mother's Day, which has two separate dates in the UK and the USA. Mother's Day in the UK is marked on the fourth Sunday of Lent, while Mother's Day in the United States is not associated with any religious background. Instead, it came into being in 1914, after a campaign was launched by Anna Jarvis, an American woman whose mother died in May. The Economic Times reports that President Woodrow Wilson established that it would take place on the second Sunday of May. Countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, France, Mexico, India and South Africa celebrate it on the third Sunday in June. Meanwhile, Brazil celebrates it on the second Sunday in August, and Australia and New Zealand do so on the first Sunday of September.

Guinness Nitrosurge Device for 'luxury pints' slashed on Amazon for Father's Day
"Perfect results everytime, worth the investment if you want a luxury pint o'th black stuff at home." Father's Day is fast approaching, and with it comes the scramble to buy an appropriate gift that your dad will actually like, which is often easier said than done. But luckily for Guinness-mad dads, Amazon has slashed the price of a Nitrosurge device that 'puts the power of draught in your hands', allowing stout lovers to enjoy a smooth pub-standard Guinness straight out of the can. Just in time for the big day this Sunday, June 15, the Guinness Nitrosurge Device usually retails at £30 on Amazon, but has been cut by 23 per cent to £23 for a limited time only. The rechargeable device attaches to the top of a can of a special Nitrosurge Guinness, using ultrasonic technology to provide a smooth pour as if on draught. The waterproof device is easy to clean and small enough to take out and about, making it easy to enjoy a pub-quality Guinness outdoors or at home. Created by Guinness innovators, designers, and taste experts, the product claims to bring the iconic two-part pour anywhere at any time- even if the pub's shut. The product fits onto the top of an open Guinness Nitrosurge can and works via a button on the device. For those browsing alternative Father's Day ideas, Argos offers a 3-pack of Guinness socks for just £8 if shoppers are on a budget. Debenhams also offers an Ireland Guinness Fathers Day T-Shirt for £21.99. But shoppers are loving the discounted Nitrosurge product, which has achieved an overall rating of 4.5 stars out of a possible five. One happy shopper said: "From what I've used so far it works great, 10x better than the normal can and very similar to what you would get in a pub." Another said: "I now pour better Guinness than most pubs! This gadget is great, but lookup online how to make the perfect pour as it can be hit and miss if you don't know what you're doing. "Make sure you tilt it back on itself when you pour holding your glass at an angle. Bring the nozzle to almost touching distance of the glass but don't let it touch. "Straighten up right at the end of the first poor, then stop and put it down. Light goes off, wait a good minute, then top up. Note the light is supposed to go off for the 2nd pour."Perfect results every time, worth the investment if you want a luxury pint o'th black stuff at home." However, one customer wasn't as pleased, saying: "Don't bother with this. It doesn't make a noticeable difference. Mine only worked three times then stopped charging up. Guinness support weren't very helpful. "I now have a Guinness paperweight." One drawback of the product is that it's only advertised to function with special Nitrosurge cans of Guinness, but one reviewer said piercing the top of a normal can with a pin allows them to use standard Guinness cans. They said: "I thought it would be just be another gimmick however this is far from it! Using this makes the perfect pint just like it's been poured from the pub! "I don't buy the nitro surge cans, I just buy the normal cans and pierce the top with a board pin.. Google it if not sure but saves you money compared with the nitrosurge cans.. "Definitely recommend for a smooth creamy pint of the black stuff." The Guinness Nitrosurge product can be purchased on Amazon now. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
