What Is Taylor Swift's Total Net Worth?
So, yeah, while the rest of us were stalking her squad on socials and trying to decipher the meaning of all those Easter eggs (!!!), Taylor was busy making money. Let's dig in.
Not so surprisingly, Taylor's studio albums—including Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, Midnights, The Tortured Poets Department, and now The Life of a Showgirl—have earned *tens of millions of dollars* worldwide. Per the Recording Industry Association of America, an organization that sounds like it knows what it's talking about, she has earned $137.5 million in digital singles and $51 million in album sales. Oh, and now seems like a good time to mention that Midnights sold more than 1 million copies in its FIRST. WEEK.
Some other fun facts for you?
And even though it cost her more than a pretty penny to buy her masters back (like, we're talking $360 million a lot), her net worth has only increased from the purchase, as she now has the power to license the original masters for film and TV.
By the end of 2023—and less than halfway through its scheduled 152-show run—the Eras Tour had nabbed the distinction of earning over $1 billion to become the highest-grossing concert tour...of all time.
And by the end of its run, Forbes reported that the tour generated an estimated $4.1 billion in revenue, with Tay personally earning an estimated $10 to $13 million per show. Excuse me while I go cry in broke.
Meanwhile, Taylor's Eras Tour concert film broke AMC records on its first day, bringing in a reported $26 million. It's since earned $100 million in advance global ticket sales, and Variety reports that Tay and her team have pocketed $60 million of that. In total, the movie earned $262 million at the box office. HER POWER!
Taylor wasn't able to tour for a few years due to the pandemic, but it's cool because she made enough on her Reputation Tour to last a lifetime. The tour grossed $266.1 million in domestic revenue, making it the highest-grossing tour in United States history at the time. Truly, what is life? No, seriously:
In case you want some details, when Taylor kicked off her tour in Phoenix in 2018, she set a new venue record for gross and attendance. THEN she hit up San Francisco and made a cool $14 million, before pocketing another $16.2 million in SoCal. Also, the entire thing was filmed by Netflix for an undisclosed sum rumored to be worth millions.
What did you make in 2015? Because Taylor Swift took home $250 million (mostly in ticket sales) thanks to her 1989 Tour—and she was the top-grossing tour artist of that year.
Taylor Swift doesn't really ~do~ social media sponcon, but she does have a history of working with brands, namely Keds, Diet Coke, Capital One, and Apple. These are private working relationships, so who knows exactly how much money she took home, but it was presumably a lot.
Not only does Taylor own an apartment in NYC, but she also owns the homes next door because why not? This epic real estate haul set her back a reported $50 million, but who wouldn't want to avoid annoying neighbors by throwing lots of money at the problem? Also in Tay's real estate portfolio: a $4 million check for a property she recently sold in Beverly Hills, a $2 million place in Nashville, plus that sweet vacation pad in Rhode Island where Tom Hiddleston once frolicked gleefully. (It's worth $17 million.)
Business Insider estimates that in total, her property is worth $81 million, while Bloomberg says it's closer to $110 million.
Back in August 2017, Forbes reported that Taylor was worth $280 million. Then in June 2023, the publication revealed that her net worth had increased to $740 million—up from $365 million in 2020. And now, as of August 2025, however, Tay cemented her status as the richest female musician with an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion.
The celeb is no doubt very much used to breaking records (and glass ceilings, for that matter), and told TIME during her December 2023 cover story that she hopes her success will inspire others to invest in women.
"What has existed since the dawn of time? A patriarchal society. What fuels a patriarchal society? Money, flow of revenue, the economy," she mused. "So actually, if we're going to look at this in the most cynical way possible, feminine ideas becoming lucrative means that more female art will get made. It's extremely heartening."
So yeah...TL;DR: TAYLOR IS A BILLIONAIRE AND AN ICON!
Please excuse me while I go weep with happiness for her and sadness for myself.

Taylor Swift looking at Las Vegas venues amid 'The Life of a Showgirl' announcement
Taylor Swift looking at Las Vegas venues amid 'The Life of a Showgirl' announcement originally appeared on The Sporting News Taylor Swift is reportedly looking at Las Vegas venues to showcase her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. According to The US Sun, "Taylor's team has been talking about Vegas gigs in private for a while, including at a dinner a few months back in Nashville with other music managers," an insider told the publication. "They are seeing what would work for the new album and have specifically been eyeing up concerts at Sphere," the insider added." "Nothing is confirmed yet, but they are discussing logistics and which venue could work best," the source concluded. Swift announced her 12th studio album on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce. Due to The Sphere's location in Vegas, which matches the album's theme and unique visual assets -- it features the largest LED screen ever constructed -- the venue would be perfect for an artist of Swift's caliber. "Given how unique Sphere is from a production perspective, fans will no doubt be foaming at the mouth to see how Taylor could potentially use the venue," the insider added. The venue is massive with 20,000 seats, but it is much smaller than the arenas Swift performed in during her Eras Tour, with stadium seating was around 70,000 to 80,000. She would, however, have no problem selling it out as the Eras Tour, which ran from March 2023 to December 2024, sold over 10 million tickets. "There's nothing like it in the world," the insider said of The Sphere. "U2 and the Backstreet Boys have already shown what's possible, but Taylor would take things to the next level." During her interview on New Heights, she told Travis and Jason that after performing in over 100 shows, she misses it but that "it feels great" that it's over. "I miss it. I do miss it, but it's like it was perfect for what it was. Do you know what I mean? And it was a lot of physical therapy, and it was a lot of being in a state of perpetual physical discomfort — kind of like when you're in season," Swift told the Kelce brothers. The insider shared that, "generally speaking, a mini Vegas run wouldn't be bad for her. Touring is exhausting, and staying in one place for a bit would be a lot easier." The Life of a Showgirl is out on Oct. 3. There is no news of a tour or residency at this time. Taylor Swift May Have Dropped Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Show Easter Egg
Originally appeared on E! Online Taylor Swift may be masterminding her very first Super Bowl halftime show performance. At least, that's what Swifties believe after picking up on several seemingly cryptic comments from the "Karma" singer's Aug. 13 appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast. First, there was that conversation about Taylor's love of baking, during which she quipped, "I'm really talking about bread 60 percent of the time now." Though it seemed like a surface remark about her favorite pastime, many fans think that was actually an Easter egg about the upcoming 60th Super Bowl in 2026, which will take place at the San Francisco 49ers' home turf at Levi's Stadium. And if that didn't begin to raise eyebrows, Taylor then went into detail making sourdough bread, which some theorized was a hint about the 49ers' mascot Sourdough Sam. "We're very deep into a sourdough obsession that had taken over my life," she shared during the interview, adding that Travis asked her earlier this summer to send him "two loaves of sourdough" while he was training with the Kansas City Chiefs—who defeated the 49ers at the 2019 and 2024 Super Bowls. Taylor thanking Travis' brother and co-host Jason Kelce for "screaming for 47 seconds" during her introduction on the podcast. While technically that number is a little off from the 49ers, Swifties online pointed out that her 47th stop on her Eras Tour show was at—you guessed it—Levi's Stadium. She also mentioned the number 47 when quipping that she performed in 47,000 countries during the Eras Tour. And, as Taylor even admitted on the show, she often uses numbers in her Easter eggs. "I love numerology. I love math stuff. I love dates," the 35-year-old shared. "That stuff, I find really fun." Taylor continued, "I want Easter eggs to be a certain thing, where if you are a part of the fandom and you want to experience music in a normal way, then you don't even see these. You don't even care what that thing is." But for those who do like decoding Easter eggs, she added, "For me, that's really fun because they find it fun." Will Taylor Swift be the next Super Bowl halftime performer? Here's why fans think so
Did Taylor Swift leave her fans breadcrumbs indicating she will be heading to her third Super Bowl in three years, but this time as the halftime entertainer? It's possible the timing could be right for the singer. In 2022, TMZ reported that sources with direct knowledge said the singer was asked to perform, but "she didn't want to perform until she finished rerecording all of her first six albums." In May, the "Showgirl" announced she had purchased her entire catalog from Shamrock Capital, telling fans all of her music belonged to her. And now fans think there were clues during her recent appearance on the "New Heights" podcast that pointed toward Miss Americana bringing her 12 eras to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 8. Swift told Jason Kelce that she's "really talking about bread 60% of the time" before diving into the sourdough loaves she bakes and comes up with clever puns for like "Are you bready for it?" or "It's a loaf story, baby just say yeast," connecting her songs to the baked buns. Turns out the mascot of the 49ers is Sourdough Sam and this year the 49ers stadium will host Super Bowl 60. Taylor Swift at Super Bowl 59: Her outfit, her suite mates from Ice Spice to the Kelce fam When Swift explained her football knowledge prior to dating Travis Kelce, she mentioned the entertainment spectacle: "I've known every halftime show from the Super Bowls, but I didn't watch the sports." The singer-songwriter plans for events, album releases and Easter egg clues years in advance. Whether Swift hoped to have her rerecords finished by 2026 or buy back her masters, she wore an Erin Andrews jacket to Super Bowl 58 with the number "60" on the back. Plus, Travis Kelce is about to begin his 13th season in the NFL. The singer's team did not respond immediately to an email requesting comment. Last year, Kendrick Lamar was announced as the halftime entertainer in early September. Follow Bryan West, the USA TODAY Network's Taylor Swift reporter, on Instagram, TikTok and X as @BryanWestTV.
