Enhypen ‘unleashes' dark side with 6th EP
Enhypen is set to roll out its sixth EP 'Desire: Unleash' on Thursday and shared its thoughts on the album through a statement released via agency Belift Lab.
''Desire' is the key word for all tracks on the album,' said Heeseung. "How each song is different in color will be attractive and interesting.'
The eight-track set is fronted by 'Bad Desire (With or Without You),' which, according to Jake, 'only Enhypen can pull off.'
'The EP will serve as a significant momentum,' mused Jay, underlining how much effort they put into perfecting it, all the more to keep up the energy it gained from a successful debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
The new mini album received over 2 million in preorders, raising expectations for it to become the band's third album to sell over 2 million, after its fifth EP 'Orange Blood' and second LP 'Romance: Untold.'

Seoul's former military bunker turns into Enhypen pop-up space
An underground military bunker in Yeouido, home to South Korea's finance and investment banking business in Yeondeungpo-gu, western Seoul, is set to be used as a pop-up for K-pop group Enhypen, the city said Wednesday. The bunker — which is near the Yeouido bus transfer center and was used for security purposes for the president in the late 1970s — was previously opened to the public for educational purposes for the school students in mid 2010s. It was turned into an art exhibition space in 2017, but the Seoul Metropolitan Government said it had renovated the space for the upcoming pop-up event 'Maison Enhypen,' which begins Thursday. The city government said programs ranging from a stamp tour and special photo booth to a music room playing Enhypen-curated playlists will be offered there, adding that the underground bunker's unique characteristics will allow many people to immerse themselves into the artist's musical world. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the event venue. The on-site reservation will be opened 30 minutes before the opening time, which varies depending on the day of the week. The pop-up is open from 2 p.m. and 11 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, respectively. While 'Maison Enhypen' begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the event will start from 11 a.m. from Sunday until June 14, when the event ends.

Illit clocks up 600m Spotify streams in record time
Illit amassed 600 million streams on Spotify with 'Magnetic' as of May, agency Belift Lab said Sunday. The single reached the milestone in the shortest time for a debut K-pop single. The group has set a series of records with the debut single last year which not only swept music charts at home but also entered Billboard's Hot 100 and UK Official Singles Top 100, a first for a K-pop debut song. It also made Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global on the day of release. 'Magnetic' is the focus track from first EP 'Super Real Me' which sold over 380,000 copies in the first week, the most for a debut album from a K-pop girl group at the time. Next month, Illit will roll out third EP 'Bomb.'
