Wednesday's reports claim that Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio has no interest in joining Manchester City this summer, but the Bianconeri could part ways with fellow stopper Mattia Perin after seven years this summer according to Wednesday's reports.
Tuttosport claims that Di Gregorio is on Manchester City's shortlist of potential goalkeepers in the event that Ederson decides to leave the Etihad this summer.

Di Gregorio, who also turned down an approach from Liverpool last summer and also snubbed Nottingham Forest the year prior, is said to only be interested in playing for Juventus and is also keen to commit his long-term future to the Bianconeri.

Though Di Gregorio is unlikely to leave in the immediate future, there could still be some changes to the Bianconeri goalkeeping department this summer.
That is because under the new-look Juventus management led by head coach Igor Tudor, GM Damien Comolli and technical director Francois Modesto, Mattia Perin could be allowed to leave after seven years in Turin.

The Old Lady, meanwhile, are reportedly keen on bringing back Emil Audero to serve as an understudy to Di Gregorio.

Audero is out of favour under Cesc Fabregas at Como, and would be a useful addition for the Bianconeri, as he counts as both a homegrown and club-trained player given that he spent 11 years on the club's books from the age of 11 onwards.

Manchester City set to complete deal for Tottenham midfielder ‘in the next 48 hours'

A deal between Manchester City and Tottenham for one of the most exciting young midfield talents is expected to be completed imminently, according to reports. As part of a well-established recruitment model focused on developing elite youth prospects, City have been consistently active in identifying and acquiring the most exciting teenage talents across English football. That strategy has yielded notable success in recent years, with Academy graduates progressing either into Pep Guardiola's senior setup or moving on for significant fees to further their development. This summer has already seen a number of movements within City's youth and development ranks, including the exits of Finley Burns and Divin Mubama on temporary agreements, while Maximo Perrone is finalising a move to Serie A with Como. At the same time, the club has doubled down on its next wave of incoming talent — with Vitor Reis and Claudio Echeverri among those integrating into the system having arrived from Palmeiras and River Plate respectively in January. City's commitment to future-proofing their squad — particularly through strategic domestic acquisitions — aligns with a wider plan to maintain success under Pep Guardiola while preparing for life beyond his tenure. With a number of senior players approaching the final stages of their contracts, the club's leadership remains focused on creating a seamless generational transition, both at first-team and youth levels. Now, according to the latest information provided by market insider Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated teenage midfield talent Dexter Oliver from Tottenham Hotspur. It is explained that the agreement between the two clubs is due to be completed in the next 48 hours, and as such will mark another key signing into Manchester City's Academy – where the strategy remains to 'develop and produce top young talent'. As for what lies ahead, Dexter Oliver is expected to slot into City's Under-18 or Under-21 squads depending on his immediate development trajectory. There is also precedent for promising new additions to be involved in senior training sessions. Should the teenager impress during his early months at the club, it is not out of the question that Oliver could follow a pathway similar to that of Rico Lewis or Nico O'Reilly — both of whom emerged from the EDS and earned valuable first-team minutes. Alternatively, a structured loan could be considered in the medium term to fast-track his exposure to senior football. With City continuing to shape the next generation of top-tier professionals, the imminent arrival of Dexter Oliver represents another calculated step in their evolving project.

Juventus enter the frame with inquiry for Barcelona transfer target

In a fresh update shared by Gianluca Di Marzio, it has emerged that Juventus have officially enquired about Marcus Rashford, who remains a top target for Barcelona this summer. The enquiry was made on Wednesday, July 16, marking the start of what could become one of the most interesting transfer battles of the window. Rashford, currently owned by Manchester United, spent part of last season on loan at Aston Villa. During his short spell there, he recorded 2 goals and 3 assists in just 10 Premier League games, helping himself get back into form after a difficult period. However, his future remains uncertain, mainly because of his high salary and the significant transfer fee United are asking for. Barcelona interested, but Juventus make first move For a long time, it has been clear that Rashford wants to play for Barcelona. He has privately told those close to him that his dream is to join Lamine Yamal and the rest of Barça's exciting attack. Even Deco, Barcelona's sporting director, openly said back in May that the club 'liked' Rashford. Juventus are interested in Marcus Rashford . (Photo by) After failing to land their top target, Nico Williams, who has signed a new contract with Athletic Club, Barcelona are now looking at other options. Rashford is high on their list because of his versatility. He can play out wide, offering support to Yamal and Raphinha, but he is also capable of filling in for Robert Lewandowski as the central striker. This flexibility makes him an ideal candidate for the Catalan side. Barcelona are yet to move Manchester United, however, are asking for £40 million, a figure that is considered manageable compared to Williams' price. Despite this, Barcelona have yet to make an official move. It is believed that they might be working behind the scenes on a loan deal, but United prefer to sell Rashford outright and move on from him completely. With Juventus now in the picture, Barcelona may need to act fast if they truly want to land Rashford. The coming weeks will be crucial, as the transfer window starts to heat up.
