Over 100 teams compete in the River-Cade Minigolf Barstool Pub Crawl
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Saturday's nice weather brought out lots of mini-golfers for the River-Cade Barstool Mini Golf Pub crawl. Over 100-teams of four played 18-holes at 18-different bars in downtown Sioux City.
This is the 18th year of the event and it's a fund raiser for the Sioux City Riverssance Festival held in October. The event teed off at noon and there was also an after party for the golfers when they finish.
'It's just such a wonderful event. It's an adult thing, you know, most River-Cade events are family oriented. This is adults. Everybody has a great time,' said Phil Claeys, Event Coordinator for River-Cade.
There were also prizes awarded for the most creatively dressed teams.
