Popular Married At First Sight groom reveals plans to return to reality TV - but it's not what fans may think
The 40-year-old electrician from Melbourne, who found love with bride Rhi Disljenkovic on the most recent season of MAFS, took to social media to reveal his sights are now set on the small screen once again - but this time, in the kitchen.
Jeff, who runs the popular foodie Instagram account Jeff Eats, shared a candid moment during a cosy dinner with his girlfriend Rhi and fellow MAFS bride Beth Kelly, where he teased the idea of fronting his own cooking show.
'Would I do my own cooking show? I think I would,' Jeff told his followers as he served up a home-cooked meal to the ladies.
Beth didn't hold back her praise, exclaiming, 'Yeah. You're amazing. This is amazing. Like restaurant quality.'

'Restaurant quality?' Jeff asked, clearly chuffed with the feedback.
'Yeah. Love that,' Beth added. 'I'm so impressed.'
The impromptu dinner party clip has since sparked speculation that Jeff may be eyeing a culinary career on screen, blending his newfound fame with his passion for food.
It comes amid rumours Jeff and Rhi were set to appear on The Block as contestants - speculation the pair have so far remained tight-lipped on.
But based on Jeff's latest online content, it seems his focus is firmly on the food scene.
In a recent review posted to his foodie platform, Jeff visited the renowned Melbourne Italian eatery Osteria Ilaria and shared a detailed breakdown of his experience.
'When I started Jeff Eats, it was not only to bring you delicious recipes you can make for yourself at home, but also to show you around some of the best restaurants and try some of the best food around Melbourne and Australia,' he explained in the video.
Jeff raved about the beef tartare, describing it as 'unreal,' and rated the pasta and steak 'sensational' and 'cooked to perfection.'
The ocean trout was 'okay,' while the dessert didn't quite hit the mark. 'The dessert was average if you ask me, but maybe you're not,' he quipped with a laugh.
Still, he awarded the overall dining experience a solid 8 out of 10.
Jeff's unexpected pivot into the food and lifestyle space appears to be gaining traction with fans, many of whom have called for him to get his own series or guest role on shows like My Kitchen Rules or MasterChef.
It comes after the fan favourite groom announced that he has joined forces with former NBL stars Pete Hooley and Tommy Sheridan to co-host Ausmerican Aces: NBA Show.
'It's funny, fast, and always on point,' Jeff told Daily Mail Australia last month. 'We cut through the sh*t and say it how it is'.
Jeff is now talking MVP picks and defensive stats.
'We discuss Coaches Mayhem, early predictions for the East and West, the MVP debate, and the Defensive Player of the Year race,' the trio shared on socials ahead of the show's third episode - which features none other than tennis star Thanasi Kokkinakis in the guest chair.
The popular podcast is already proving a hit with fans and regularly sees the trio chat to popular athletes.
While some may scratch their heads at Jeff's new hustle, he's far from the only MAFS alum to throw their hat in the podcasting ring.
Carina Mirabile, who also appeared on MAFS in 2025, has just dropped the first episode of This Is Chaos, her chaotic-good foray into the world of audio content.
The fashion-forward firecracker is joined by her real-life bestie, celebrity hairstylist Jacob Muller, and the duo are wasting no time serving unfiltered takes on fashion, beauty, empowerment - and everything in between.
'Welcome to This Is Chaos, a brand new podcast with Married At First Sight's Carina Mirabile and her bestie… where fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and raw honesty collide!' the show's official description reads.
And that's not all.
Daily Mail Australia hears whispers that Adrian Araouzou, never one to shy away from controversy, is in talks to launch his own podcast - one that promises bombshells, shock guests, and possibly some former cast mates.
Of course, all these MAFS mic-grabbers are chasing the heels of Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding, who set the standard with their hit show Sit With Us.
Launched in the wake of their star-making turns on MAFS in 2022, the pair's podcast soared up the charts thanks to their signature blend of sass, sisterhood and spilt tea.
Though the duo eventually parted ways personally and professionally - with Ella leaving the show - it marked a pivotal shift, proving that MAFS alumni can build genuine media careers off-screen.
More recently, Tahnee Cook has joined fan favourite Selina Chhaur in hosting Nova's successful Back to Reality podcast.
One thing's for sure - the MAFS class of seasons past aren't fading into obscurity.
They're popping up in your feeds, in your earbuds, and now, apparently, on the NBA beat.

Tammy Hembrow breaks her silence after being trolled over new romance with Bailey Smith
Tammy Hembrow has broken her silence after being trolled over her new romance with AFL star Bailey Smith. The fitness mogul, 31, was spotted cosying up to Bailey during a lunch date on the Gold Coast on Saturday – with the sports star, 24, flying in from Melbourne just to see her. Many trolls slammed the mother-of-three for moving on just weeks after confirming her split from her husband of seven months Matthew Zukowski. Tammy has now hit back at haters by posting a series of steamy selfies to Instagram and telling her followers to 'smile more'. 'Think we all need to smile a lil more okayyyy,' she wrote. In the photos, Tammy left little to the imagination as she went braless in a white crop top and a tiny denim skirt. Tammy came under fire from keyboard warriors on Monday over her new romance with AFL star Bailey. Trolls attacked the mother-of-three after she posted photos of a family outing on Instagram on Sunday. The gallery of heartwarming images featured Tammy and her brood visiting a market and enjoying a picnic. In one photo, Tammy can be seen posing with her children, son Wolf, nine, and daughters Posy, three, and Saskia, seven, ahead of their day out. Still, some followers saw the post as an opportunity to slam Tammy for her lifestyle choices. 'Another man in those poor kids' lives,' one troll complained. Another user came in with an even harsher comment, 'Now onto another man already? Yeah cos Bailey will be able to handle kids etc. Why not just focus on you?' 'The kids have a new dad every week haha,' said another follower. Meanwhile, some users commented on the fact that Bailey was absent from Tammy's latest outing. 'Where's BS,' asked one follower, while another commented nastily, 'Already dumped him.' 'Wonder if Mr Smith can produce kids... Watch this space,' another troll commented, referring to Zukowski, who has been open about his infertility struggles. Still, Tammy did have fans supporting her in the post. 'Say what you want, but she's the coolest mum. Proper,' said one follower. Another added, 'Girl ignore the hate we'd all be getting around Bailey if we could, such a slay by you.' Tammy stepped out with Bailey over the weekend – just days after claiming she was happily single following her shock split from husband Matthew. Two months after her break–up with the Love Island star, the fitness mogul enjoyed a lunch date with Bailey on Saturday. The Cats' new recruit was riding high after helping his team thrash Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night. By Saturday morning, he was on a flight to Brisbane for his secret weekend rendezvous with Tammy. Bailey didn't skimp on their date, taking her out for a swanky meal at Pan–Asian hotspot Rick Shores at Burleigh Heads, where the pair were anything but discreet. The chemistry was undeniable, with the two seen leaving the venue hand–in–hand, laughing and whispering as they spied our photographer. Bailey jetted back to Melbourne on Sunday to resume training ahead of Geelong's clash with the Swans at the SCG.

Dollar holds gains ahead of inflation data; Aussie awaits RBA
TOKYO, Aug 12 (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar held steady on Tuesday, with markets braced for a key consumer inflation report later in the day that could shape expectations for Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. The Australian dollar was steady hours before a policy decision by the Reserve Bank of Australia. The U.S. dollar index - which measures the currency against six counterparts, including the euro and yen - was steady at 98.497 as of 0046 GMT, after advancing 0.5% over the past two sessions. Prior to that, the dollar had retreated as U.S. President Donald Trump's dovish-leaning pick to replace a Fed governor, and similarly inclined potential candidates for chairman, led traders to increase easing bets. In addition, Fed officials have sounded increasingly uneasy about the labour market, signalling their as soon as September. Cooling inflation could cement bets for a reduction next month, but if signs emerge that Trump's tariffs are fuelling price pressures, that might keep the central bank on hold for now. Traders currently put the odds of a quarter-point cut on September 17 at about 89%. "Risk-reward heading into U.S. CPI this week is for a modest USD bounce as any upside surprise will challenge market pricing of almost a full cut by September," TD Securities strategists wrote in a research note. "A downside surprise, on the other hand, is unlikely to move Fed pricing and the USD as much," they said. "The reasoning is that for the Fed to consider an outsized cut of 50 basis points, the catalyst will be further deterioration in the labour market and not a downside CPI miss." Economists polled by Reuters expect core CPI to have risen 0.3% in July, pushing the annual rate higher to 3%. The greenback rose 0.1% to 148.28 yen on Tuesday. The euro was flat at $1.1615 . The dollar on Monday largely ignored Trump's signing an in sharply higher tariffs on Chinese imports for another 90 days, a move that some market participants said was expected. With the United States and China seeking to close a deal averting triple-digit import tariffs, a U.S. official told Reuters that chip makers Nvidia and AMD had agreed to allocate 15% of China sales revenues to the U.S. government, aiming to secure for semiconductors. The yuan was flat at 7.1935 per dollar in offshore trading . The Aussie fetched $0.6518 , little changed from Monday with economists and investors widely expecting a quarter-point rate reduction from the RBA, after second-quarter came in weaker than expected and the jobless rate hit a 3-1/2-year high. However, the risk of a surprise has been amplified by a change in decision-making at the central bank, and many traders were caught out when the policy board refrained from lowering rates last month. Cryptocurrency bitcoin was unchanged at around $118,845, after it climbed as high as $122,308.25 on Monday that took it close to the all-time peak of $123,153.22 from mid-July.

Star Entertainment reaches deal to sell 50% stake in Brisbane resort to HK investors
Aug 12 (Reuters) - Australia's Star Entertainment ( opens new tab said on Tuesday it had reached a deal with its Hong Kong-based partners to sell its 50% stake in the A$3.6 billion ($2.35 billion) Brisbane resort, reviving a transaction that collapsed earlier this month. Star is selling its interest for A$53 million, of which A$45 million was paid in March. The Australian company will also take two-thirds of the Dorsett and Andaz hotels — currently under construction — from its Hong Kong-based shareholders. Star will also retain its rights to any future development at the Gold Coast operations, it said. Trading in Star's shares was halted by the exchange operator before the market opened. Talks broke down in early August after investors Far East Consortium ( opens new tab and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises — both seeking to exit the joint venture — refused to extend negotiations. The failure left Star liable to repay A$41 million to the investors before September 5. Star, Australia's second-largest casino operator, has been under severe financial strain after years of regulatory scrutiny and lawsuits linked to money-laundering allegations. Chow Tai Fook and Far East each hold a 2.8% stake in Star. The key parts of the deal are materially consistent with the agreement that was announced in March, when Star laid down initial plans to sell its stake in the Brisbane development. The Queen's Wharf casino and hotel complex, the newest of Star's three precincts alongside Sydney and the Gold Coast, was developed with the backing of its Hong Kong shareholders.
