Peter Andre's 'final straw' with Katie Price as his reason for speaking out 'revealed'

Mysterious Girl hitmaker Peter Andre is said to have felt like he needed to release his bombshell statement on ex wife Katie Price as things had become 'unbearable'
Peter Andre is said to have reached the final straw with his ex-wife, Katie Price, and decided to release his bombshell statement. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker shares his two children, Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, with former glamour model Katie.

They split in 2009 and continued to co-parent their kids while things remained sour between them as all contacted was burned. Things came to boiling point this week when Peter decided to release a scathing message aimed at mum-of-five Katie.

Their relationship entered the spotlight once again as Princess released her debut solo TV project this month. It comes after Princess said she's 'independent' from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row.

Peter raged: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.
"The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.
"In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement." He went on: "I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims.
"She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.
"Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months."

Now, it has been claimed Peter "had" to speak out because things in the family had turned "unbearable". "Katie lies and lies about Pete, she talks about him and tells lies about the kids all the time and he was sick of it," a source told the Sun.
"The fact is, she went on her podcast and said that Princess lived with her, and that's just not true. It's been a really difficult and upsetting time for the family - she's goading him and constantly speaking about him, and none of it is true."

Another source added to the publication: "It really affects everyone - it's hard for Princess as she loves her mum, but it's just drama and negativity at every turn."
"Pete would like nothing more than for Katie to never ever speak about him in public ever again, but she won't stop. He's kept a dignified silence for so long, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns legal, as she's gone too far now. He just wants a harmonious life for his family."
Following Peter's post, a spokesperson for Katie told the Mirror: "Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. Kate will no longer be gaslight and bullied as she once was..."

On Friday, Princess spoke out for the first time as she answered a question about her parents on Snapchat. One fan asked her on the platform: "Does it affect you even now when your mum and dad don't get on?'
Princess then said in a video on the platform: "To be honest, it doesn't affect me. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don't even have any memory of them being together." Writing on top of the clip, she added: "I love my mum and dad and that's all that matters xxx."
The Mirror has contacted Peter and Katie's representatives for comment.

Aaron Dingle and ex-husband Robert Sugden finally confess their true feelings in an upcoming episode, and one thing leads to another. ‌ With a concerned Aaron desperate to help Robert amid his spiralling mental health, he tells his soulmate (let's face it) that he "just needs to get him better". As an emotional Robert shares his fears that he has no one and nothing left, thoughts put in his mind by his evil brother John Sugden, Aaron's confused as to why Robert would think he "didn't want to know". ‌ It's then that he admits how he really feels and why he's been so distant, amid his marriage to John. It comes as spoilers confirmed the pair would give into temptation amid hopes from fans that Robron will reunite, ahead of killer John's downfall. ‌ In the new video preview we see the aftermath of Robert breaking down and trashing his room. Unable to take anymore he loses control with Aaron forced to intervene, shocked by just how broken Robert is. As the pair head downstairs, a numb Robert is on the sofa as Aaron does his best to comfort him. He's desperate to get him some help, while Robert considers leaving and claims he has nothing left in the village to keep him there. Aaron soon confesses what's really been going on, and how he has deliberately pushed Robert away to avoid temptation. He says: "We both know what will happen if we get too close." As Robert asks if they are both "fighting feelings", Aaron says: "I didn't say that. I'm sure you've got better things to do than sit around with your tragic ex." Aaron replies: "No, not really. I've missed you." As the pair stare for a moment Robert leans in and kisses Aaron, with him soon reciprocating. One thing leads to another - but will they be caught out? Katie Price shares scathing message about 'fakery' as Peter Andre drama rages on

Katie Price has shared a lengthy message in response to Peter Andre's bombshell statement about her parenting of daughter Princess and son Junior. In it, she admitted to her 'sins' while vowing to 'be better' after years of personal battles with addiction and mental health issues. It comes after, in a recent Instagram post, Peter hit out at his ex-wife, making shocking comments about their kids' welfare. Peter, who met the former glamour model on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, said he felt 'frustrated' at having to remain silent since their separation in 2009, but felt compelled to speak out now to 'set the record straight' once and for all. He wrote that, in 2019, 'the family courts issued a legally binding order' to enforce the arrangement of Princess, now 18, and Junior, now 20, living with him and his wife, Emily Andre, 35, due to 'well-documented' reasons. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker claimed that Katie is continuing to repeat 'falsehoods' and 'lies' about him and his relationship with his kids, more of which will be addressed in the 'coming months'. It is assumed he is referring to Katie's claims that she was 'banned' from Princess's recent birthday party, which was filmed for the budding influencer's fly-on-the-wall series with ITV. Initially, it was speculated that there was a rift between the reality star and her daughter but after Princess firmly quashed these, Katie claimed it was her daughter's management—who also manage Peter—who dished out the order. Now, Katie has taken to her own social media page with an essay about 'saints and sinners'. She wrote this evening: 'Saints and sinners. As we know, in this life we are thought of as Saints and Sinners. 'I know I will always be a Sinner. That's fair, I allowed myself to fail into reliance on drugs and alcohol. 'At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, an an untrustworthy partner. 'I've self medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love. 'I've had many reasons – I was sexually abused when younger; I've had relationships that have been coercive; and my mental health issues – but I don't want to make excuses. 'I've recognised my issues and worked to put them behind me. Sometimes I tried and failed, sometimes I succeeded. 'I've pulled myself out of suicidal spiral because I love my children and want to be there for them. 'I don't pretend to be perfect by any means – but I'm trying to be the best I can.' Katie proceeded to mention the 'Saints' who are 'genuine' and have 'helped her', before launching an attack on those who 'are not who they would have you believe they are'. 'They have a carefully managed image which must be exhausting to maintain,' she continued. 'Some Saints are fake. They play the victim and to succeed in life they need a villain… or at least a Sinner. Without the Sinner they don't get to be the Saint… 'As a Sinner – I sometimes get bored of these Saints. But maybe I should feel sorry for them, It must be such hard work having to pretend all the time.' Katie concluded: 'Anyway, all you Sinners keep your heads up and keep trying to be better. All you Saints, it's ok not to be perfect xxx' Her latest post comes after Katie's reps issued a statement to Metro after Peter revealed Princess and Junior had been in his care since 2018 'for their safety'. 'Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation,' they said. 'This was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly, she's dealing with this the right way, and it's now in her lawyer's hands. Katie Price breaks silence on Peter Andre 'lies' row as she makes stunning admission

Katie Price has shared her own statement as she hit back at her ex husband Peter Andre following his bombshell claims about their family. Katie Price has responded to the explosive allegations made by her ex-husband Peter Andre. The 47 year old former glamour model, who shares two children with Peter - Junior, 20, and Princess, 18 - split from him in 2009, and all communication between them ceased as they navigated co-parenting. ‌ This week, tensions escalated between the former couple following a series of claims coinciding with the launch of Princess's own ITV2 series. Peter accused Katie and her family of "repeated lies", claiming he had chosen to remain silent for 16 years. This comes after their daughter Princess declared her independence from her parents, breaking her silence following a row with Katie. ‌ Now, Katie has issued her own rebuttal via Instagram, stating: "Saints and Sinners. As we know, in this life we are thought of as Saints and Sinners, reports the Mirror. ‌ "I know I will always be seen as a Sinner. That's fair, I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times, I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. "I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I've self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love." Katie continued: "I've had my reasons - I was sexually abused when younger; had relationships that have been coercive; and my mental health issues - but I don't want to make excuses. I've recognised my issues and worked to put them behind me. "Sometimes I tried and failed, sometimes I succeeded. I've pulled myself out of a suicidal spiral because I love my children and want to be there for them. I don't pretend to be perfect by any means - but I'm trying to be the best I can." She went on: "Then there are the 'Saints'. Some are genuine and some have helped me. But some Saints are not who they would have you believe they are. They have a carefully managed image which must be exhausting to maintain. ‌ "Some Saints are fake. They play the victim and to succeed in life they need a at least a Sinner. But maybe I should feel sorry for them, It must be such hard work having to pretend all the time. Anyway, all you Sinners keep your heads up and keep trying to be better. All you Saints, it's ok not to be perfect." ‌ Yesterday, Peter released his own statement as he fumed: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today. "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.
