
The House of Rare launches first unified Rareism and Rare Ones store in Mumbai
The new store aims to provide a cohesive shopping experience for mothers and their children, showcasing the brands' Spring/Summer 2025 collections across varied silhouettes, colours, and transitional styles, The House of Rare announced in a press release. Rareism focuses on womenswear, combining comfort and modern styling, while Rare Ones caters to boys aged six to sixteen with trend-driven premium apparel.
'With the opening of this unified store in Mumbai, we are bringing our Rareism and Rare Ones customers together in a thoughtfully designed space that celebrates modern Indian families,' said Rareism's chief brand officer Abhishek Srivastava in a press release. 'We see this as a pivotal step in expanding our retail footprint and giving our consumers more of what they love– style, comfort, and a shopping experience tailored for both women and young boys.'
The store launch reinforces The House of Rare's strategy to create design-led fashion environments across India, according to the business. The Mumbai store is the first in a series of concept stores planned nationwide in the coming year.

De Beers announces kimberlite field discovery in Angola
' joint venture in Angola has discovered a new kimberlite field, the most common source of mined diamonds, it said on Tuesday, its first such discovery in three decades. The Anglo American unit is jointly exploring for diamonds in Angola in partnership with the country's state-owned diamond company Endiama. De Beers said in a statement the joint venture had hit kimberlite in its first drill hole into a high-priority cluster of targets in July 2025. The company said further drilling, geophysical surveys and laboratory analysis will be conducted over the next few months to confirm the kimberlite type and assess its diamond potential. Kimberlites are a rare rock type that brings diamonds to the surface through volcanic eruptions. De Beers returned to Angola in 2022, having left a decade earlier after exploring unsuccessfully. The mining giant signed two mineral investment contracts with the government of Angola in April 2022, followed by agreements on diamond processing and exploration in 2024. Parent company Anglo American is divesting De Beers as part of its strategy to focus on its copper and iron ore assets. De Beers has drawn interest from at least six consortia, including commodities billionaire Anil Agarwal, Indian diamond firms, and Qatari investment funds, sources close to the companies told Reuters in June.

Nykaa added brands such as luxury offering Chanel, Korean skincare label Aestura and sunscreen maker Supergoop to its product line-up, lifting revenue in its beauty business 24% to 19.75 billion rupees. The growth was driven by a focus on reaching more customers across online and offline stores and offering higher-end products, Nykaa said.
