AMAZON is axing a popular freebie in days, and shoppers are furious.
The major online retailer said its Receipts Program will end in the UK on August 1.

Amazon receipts program is changing for customers
Currently, customers can upload receipts for products they bought from rival shops via the Amazon shopping panel, and earn money back.
Shoppers earn 10p for each receipt they upload.
Alternatively, they can upload 50 receipt pictures to get the maximum reward of £5.
Panellists were alerted to the change via a notification in the app.
The move has sparked fury among customers, with many taking to social media to complain.
Writing in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, one shopper said: "I'm gutted I get £7-8 a month from it and it all adds up.
While another added: "Oh no! I've got £141 since I've been doing it. Don't get many surveys, some months I don't get any, so not worth keeping."
And a third moaned: "Gutted, over £200 since I started doing it."
It is not the first time the retail giant has made changes to this feature.
Back in October, shoppers were left heartbroken after Amazon said shoppers would need to upload 50 receipts instead of 10 to get the £5 reward.
Amazon 'hiking' prices ahead of Prime Day after shoppers claim company 'great savings' aren't real
Panellists can still earn rewards through completing surveys for Amazon.
The amount customers earn varies per survey and you can see the amount before choosing to complete the survey.
The Sun has approached Amazon for comment.
How does the Amazon shopper panel work?
The shopper Panel is an opt-in, invitation-only program where participants can earn monthly rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside of Amazon.
Once you receive a notification, customers can download the app from the app store or the Google Play store.
Before you join, you may be put on a waiting list and you will be sent an email when you can join.
As well as uploading receipts to earn cash, users can also take part in surveys and enable ad verification for extra rewards.
The amount you can earn per survey varies, but you will be able to see how much you can earn before you take part.
Enrolling in ad verification - allowing Amazon to see the ads that appear on your phone - can earn you £2 per month.
If you decide the app isn't for you, you can stop using it anytime.
More ways to make money online
There are plenty of other websites that pay you for completing surveys or other tasks.
For example, Swagbucks has paid out millions globally and reward users for surveys, watching clips and browsing the web.
Regular users report earning upwards of £300 a year for just 15 minutes of their time.
Expect to earn around 50p a survey which will typically take up to 20 minutes.
You can get your payouts either as PayPal cash or shopping vouchers.
Elsewhere, Opinium is used by top firms for research.
Surveys pay 50p on average and take around five minutes, you'll have to work up to £25 before you can get a payout.
Get your money through cash with a bank transfer or gift vouchers.

Stanley price matches Amazon with huge 40% off Quencher deal

The iconic Stanley Quencher is a celeb-loved favourite and it's currently at the cheapest price we've ever seen it in the UK With warmer days finally here and the occasional heatwave battering the UK, it's hard to go anywhere without seeing a Stanley tumbler or dupe. Stanley cups have taken the hydration world by storm, becoming the must-have accessory for everyone from gym fanatics to commuters. While the hype is real, so is the price tag, and fans of the iconic brand are always on the lookout for discounts on its usual £45 price tag. Amazon slashed the price of 1.2L Stanley Quenchers to £27 in three select colours before the weekend, causing a flurry of shoppers. The deal soon went from in stock to having a waitlist of '1-3 months' and has now been removed completely, although Amazon is offering slight discounts on certain hues, with the best value option currently being a cheery Plum colour currently reduced to £32. However, shoppers who missed out can now snag the mugs, in an even wider choice of discounted colours, direct from the Stanley website as part of the brand's huge mid-season sale. Five different colours have been reduced to £27 for the event, including Chilli red, Blue Spruce, Iris, Fuchsia pink and deep Plum. What's more, because they are buying direct, shoppers can even get free engraved personalisation on any Stanley they buy, including sale items, throughout July. Known for its impressive durability and sleek, modern (often giant) look, the Stanley Quencher isn't just a viral sensation; it's a functional flask that can keep drinks ice-cold for up to two days. Thanks to Stanley's trusted vacuum insulation, water stays cold for 11 hours or up to 48 hours if you pack it with ice. This makes the vessel ideal for long commutes, gym sessions and road trips. Alternatively, shoppers are loving the Thermos Thermocafe Tumbler from Argos for £13, which features a lock lid, which means fewer accidental spills. The YETI Rambler (£20) is also another top choice for spill-free drinks this summer. Meanwhile, the Stanley Quencher is constructed from 90% recycled stainless steel, with this extra-large tumbler is designed with sustainability in mind. What really sets the Flowstate lid apart is its 3-position functionality, meaning it can be sipped with the included straw, switched to a wider opening for pouring, or kept semi-covered for splash-resistant use. In reviews for the Stanley Quencher online, one person shared: I have waited too long to get one of these. I had a cheap knock off version at one point, but it was not as functional or as good quality as the original and best. "The size is perfect for a decent drink that will last me all day at work, and it stays lovely and cold and never leaks. I simply cannot fault it." Another happy review read: "Fabulous, it keeps water cold overnight and is great for long journeys." A third shopper said: "Honestly, I love it! Lives up to the claims. "I filled it with iced water and put it on my bedside table in case I woke up in the night needing a drink. The next morning, it was still icy, even after it had spent the night in a warm room." However, one reviewer noted: "I was completely 'influenced' to jump on the bandwagon and buy this. I'm happy with my purchase, it does keep drinks cold for a long time, but in the grand scheme of things - it's just a cup." While Stanley tumblers are notoriously on the pricier side, their cult status means they rarely stay in stock, especially when discounted. The £27 deal is only available on selected colours in the Stanley sale, which is live now.

Women nearing retirement to get £5,000 a year less in private pension income than men, experts warn

Four in ten workers are under-saving for their golden years PENSION INEQUALITY Women nearing retirement to get £5,000 a year less in private pension income than men, experts warn Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) WOMEN nearing retirement can expect to get £5,000 a year less in private pension income than men, experts say. Fresh analysis shows they will typically receive around £100 per week compared to a little over £200 a week for blokes. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 People deserve to know they'll have a decent income in retirement — but the truth is that is not the reality facing many, said Liz Kendall The greater likelihood of a history of part-time jobs and caring responsibilities may contribute to women getting less. Resulting lower National Insurance contributions could also curtail their state pension. The introduction of automatic pension enrolment from 2012 has helped women and men, the experts insist. But retirees in 2050 are predicted to have £800 — eight per cent — less private pension income than those today. Meanwhile, four in ten workers — nearly 15million — are under-saving for their golden years, with low earners and the self-employed hit the hardest, research shows. The Government will today revive the Pension Commission to address the findings. Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall said: 'People deserve to know they'll have a decent income in retirement — but the truth is that is not the reality facing many. 'The Pensions Commission laid the groundwork, and now, two decades later, we are reviving it to tackle the barriers that stop too many saving in the first place.' The British Chambers of Commerce said that any costs to businesses on top of National Insurance contributions and the Employment Rights Bill would have to be 'gradual'. And they must be paused if economic conditions worsen, giving businesses time to adjust to increased costs, it added. Rain Newton-Smith, director-general of the Confederation of British Industry, said there must be a consensus in business, Government and society that the system is affordable for employers and workers.
