Violent brawl breaks out at Disneyland over queue cutting as young child injured
The fight broke out in the queue of a popular ride at Disneyland Park, in Shanghai, allegedly over one family trying to cut the queue and others trying to stop them
A brawl broke out at Disneyland after some visitors became angry over queue cutting with the whole thing caught on camera by a shocked onlooker. The fight, which was filmed by a witness, involved a couple, and a family of three and shows a man wearing a black t-shirt had grabbed the other man, in a white t-shirt, by the neck.
They both wrestled each other as a woman wearing a hat with rabbit ears attached to it repeatedly flailed out her arms. She tried to hit both of the men before running at a visitor, part of the family of three, who carried a child. The woman hit both of them, including the little girl, which caused the mum to break down into tears and crouch on the ground.
She kept the child tightly in her arms and held her close to her chest. As she cried, the focus went back to the two men as the woman wearing the rabbit hat went to join in on the scuffle.
The man in the white t-shirt who appeared to be part of the family, was wrestled to the ground after he fell on some steps. When he hit the floor, the woman who was still holding her child became hysterical as she reached out her arm to the man.
She then stood up and grabbed the woman wearing the hat, and began to shout. The shocking scenes attracted a large number of tourists who watched in horror, as reported by NeedToKnow.
According to local press, the couple and the family engaged in an argument over a queue. It has also been reported that the couple tried to have a photo together which was blocked by the family.
What began as a heated exchange quickly turned into a physical confrontation. The fight took place near the ride called Crazy Animal City, at Disneyland Park, in Shanghai, China.
Security personnel who work at the park intervened and were able to break up the fight. It is not known whether those involved suffered consequences as a result of their actions.
Local press have reported that tourists may face a permanent ban on entering the park if they engage in violent behaviour. On the official website for the Disneyland park in Shanghai, their rules include several remarks on guest's behaviour inside the park.
"Please show common courtesy, both on-site and online, to fellow Park guests, our Cast Members (including but not limited to staff and performers) and the Disney Characters, and do not use profanity or engage in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior," states one rule. While another says: "Please respect fellow guests while queuing.
"Be careful not to bump into and push others in the queue. Guests are not permitted to use personal belongings of any kind, including but not limited to strollers, raincoats, and blankets, etc., to reserve viewing places while waiting for shows. The entire party should wait together."
If these rules are broken, the park warns: "We reserve the right to deny admission to any person, or to require a person already admitted, to leave the Park immediately, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of the Park rules, relevant rules for attractions or theater shows, or specific rules for Annual Pass, Disney Standby Pass, Disney Premier Access, Early Park Entry Pass, Disney Concierge Services, Disney Premier Tours or other entitlements, for unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, or for behavior that causes suspension of attractions or entertainment performances, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require."

Woman makes incredible find in thrift store and is told to sell it for £1m
A bargain hunter has been urged to insure her finds after stumbling upon two incredible pieces of 1980s Hollywood movie memorabilia in an American thrift store An American woman has been urged to cash in on her thrift store find after she unknowingly uncovered a stunning piece of personalised Oscars memorabilia. Self-confessed Star Wars nerd, Libbers, said she was hunting for action figures based on the space saga when she made her startling discovery. Taking to TikTok in excitement, she explained: "I found some action figures and a Jurassic Park VHS tape which I thought was super cool, and then I saw a China cabinet containing things I didn't think were for sale because inside of it was a whole bunch of Muppets memorabilia that looked like it came from a producer." After gaining permission to look in the cabinet, Libbers pulled out the programme for the 1980 Academy Awards where The Muppet Movie had received two nominations. Libbers continued: "Inside was a letter to [Muppets creator] Jim Henson, [puppeteer and filmmaker] Frank Oz and [executive producer] David Lazer as well as a note wishing David good luck." However, she wasn't done there as she went on to detail "the more impressive of the two" purchases she made. WARNING – explicit language in TikTok video below, viewer discretion advised She then showcased an original script of The Dark Crystal, a 1982 dark fantasy film directed by both Henson and Oz. "This is the fourth draft so not everything in here is even in the movie, which is insane to me," Libbers noted. "I'm trying so hard not to scream and jump up and down." Opening the original script, Libbers noted that it had been signed and dated by Lazer, who was the producer. "This is actually crazy," she said. "This is going to be my prized possession - I will have to put it on display. My Muppet-loving heart is going crazy." Libbers wasn't done there, however, as she went on to detail the "best part" of her find. "I got it for free," she exclaimed. "My mum had just bout $80 [£59] worth of stuff from the thrift shop and I was going to pay $40 [£29.50]. But after I bought the action figures and the VHS, the lady said, 'Don't worry about it - you're good'." She closed: "I am ecstatic right now! This is crazy. It's The Dark Crystal. Like The Dark Crystal." Libbers clip soon went viral, with amazed TikTok users quick to offer her advice on her relic. "Please get a lawyer if anyone tries to contact you, like for real… do not accept any offer if it's under 1 million," one person advised. A second hailed: "Jealousy is not even a strong enough word. Also as a 45 year old it makes me happy when younger people still love Muppets and The Dark Crystal." A third individual urged: "Disney is closing Jim Henson's final legacy piece in Hollywood Studios, you better not sell it to them." A fourth recommended: "I'm sure you're on it already, but get them appraised and insured." Whilst a fifth TikTok user said: "I would actually start sobbing if I was in your position. The Dark Crystal means so much to me. it's one of my favourite movies as a kid and one of the reasons why I make puppets today. I'm so glad that it's in hands that will cherish and take care of it." In response to several queries, meanwhile, Libbers returned to the comments section to clarify: "For everyone wondering, it was just a regular local thrift store, not a specialty one. David Lazer the producer of The Dark Crystal happened to live in my town upon his passing and the thrift store some how ended up with some of his belongings."

Series compared to Friends leaves fans begging for one thing after 8 episodes
It's been over 30 years since the first episode of Friends, when Rachel Green infamously ran into Central Perk in a wedding dress – now there's a new show about New Yorkers muddling through in their twenties in its stead. The eight-episode comedy Adults sees a group of twenty-something housemates navigating the highs and lows of adulthood together and it's already being compared to the sitcom classic. The new Disney Plus show follows the close-knit – and perhaps codependent – friendship group of Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao) and Anton (Owen Thiele) as they live together in Samir's childhood home in Queens. With a stellar soundtrack and guest stars ranging from Charlie Cox to Julia Fox, the show has already gone down a storm with Disney subscribers and is climbing up the platform's UK top 10 ranking. The official synopsis for Adults reads: 'Whether they're trying to get ahead at work, navigating the healthcare system, hosting a dinner party or dating in the age of Find My Friends, the group is finding that nothing about the real world is simple, and all their best intentions tend to make things worse.' The show's creators, Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, are former writers on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and referenced Friends as one of the inspirations. 'We grew up on Friends, Seinfeld, Living Single and then Broad City and Girls, all of these friend group comedies,' Shaw told The Sydney Morning Herald. 'It's our favourite genre of television.' The writing duo are also a couple, as Kronengold added: 'We bonded over it very early in our friendship and relationship. We were fans, but also students of the thing. Even the name, Adults, is kind of an homage to the genre.' Shaw continued: '[The show is about] that symbiosis of those two parts of young adulthood: the discomfort of wading through something strange, and then knowing your friends will be there for you on the other side of it.' Disney Plus viewers have already taken to X to praise the show, with @poetsonfilm tweeting: 'Finally started watching adults and it's an instant hit what can i say.' @Bondos_b) added: 'Finished season 1 of Adults and I loved it. Felt like a modern day Friends. I hope this gets a second season!' They then added: 'Overcompensating was better though,' referring to the similar Gen Z comedy currently streaming on Prime Video. Fellow viewers were also adamant the show needs a second season, with @leedfrazer writing: 'Still waiting for that Adults season two renewal FX… anytime now…' @Maxime_pvv chimed in: 'I've just (already) finished all 8 episodes of #AdultsFX, really a fun comedy like we had in the 2010s. I'm hoping for a season 2 because I miss them already!' More Trending There are also plenty of stellar reviews of the show on IMDb, with @Katie-612 writing: 'I think so many sitcoms are pitched now as being 'like Friends for Gen Z' but it's hard to find a show that actually understands what made Friends so captivating. 'I found Adults to be laugh out loud funny and it truly felt like it was written by people in their 20s who understand what it's like to be entering adulthood in this decade. 'Most importantly, I think it really captured friendships and the kind of odd groups you often find yourself in right out of college. I think this show will really find its footing in the next seasons and we'll begin to feel really attached to the characters. I put it on expecting to just watch a few episodes but I ended up bingeing the whole thing.' Adults is available to stream on Disney Plus. Got a story?
