New Delhi [India], July 20 (ANI): Ace singer Himesh Reshammiya took a momentous pause during his Delhi concert on Saturday evening to pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces over their successful execution of Operation Sindoor. Himesh Reshammiya performed in Gurgaon on Saturday.
He urged the audience at the Indira Gandhi Arena stadium to thank the Jawans for their brave efforts.
"Sab hoga magar humein unhe nahi bhoolna chahiye jinki wajah se aaj hum yahan ek dusre ko mil pa rahe hain. Humare desh ke jawano ko salute hai. Jai Hind. Operation Sindoor zindabad," Himesh Reshammiya expressed.
And then in a moving performance, Himesh Reshammiya crooned the patriotic song 'Dil Diya Hai Jaan Bhi Denge Aye Watan Tere Liye' from the 1986 film 'Karma'. The Indian tricolour also flashed on the big screen.
The Delhi leg of his Cap Mania Tour, presented by Saregama Live, kickstarted on July 19 and will conclude on July 20.
Last night, a sea of fans gathered together under one roof to witness the magic of Himesh Reshammiya's voice, wearing the customised "HR" caps.
A hilarious yet notable moment during the concert was when Himesh Reshammiya playfully asked the audience if they wanted him to sing "regular" or with his signature nasal style.
"Thoda regular gaaun ya naak se gaaun? (Should I sing normally or from my nose?)," he said, leaving the jam-packed stadium in splits.
Himesh Reshammiya undoubtedly turned Delhi into a nightclub on Saturday.
From 'Tandoori Nights' to 'Hookah Bar', 'Long Drive' and 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja', he sang all his peppy numbers and made Delhiites jump with joy and enthusiasm.
A wave of nostalgia was sparked with his gig as he transported the audience to the early 2000s by singing his hit tracks such as 'Chakna Chakna' and 'Viraaniya' from 'Namastey London'.
He also unleashed his lover boy side at the concert, all thanks to his wife Sonia.
Sonia joined him on stage for a bit and delivered a few lines about love that touched everyone's hearts. The husband and wife shared an adorable hug as well.
Audience also experienced mesmerising "suroors" from the voices of Pragati Nagpal, Arjun Tanwar, and Maahi on the first Day of the Delhi leg of the Cap Mania tour, presented by Saregama Live. (ANI)

Did Tamannaah Bhatia ever date Virat Kohli and Abdul Razzaq? Actress breaks silence

Tamannaah Bhatia is among the most popular faces of Indian cinema right now. The actress is working in multiple languages and is no-platform centric as she works in every possible medium- be it big screen or OTT. Tamannaah has also been in the headlines for her relationship rumors with cricketers Virat Kohli and Abdul Razzaq. In a latest interview with The Lallantop, the Aaj Ki Raat actress broke her silence on her dating and marriage speculations. Did Tamannaah Bhatia ever date Virat Kohli? Tamannaah Bhatia rubbished all the dating rumors with Virat Kohli and mentioned that she met him only once in life. 'I feel so bad because I literally met him for only one day. I have never met Virat after the shoot. Na maine unse baat ki na unse mili hun,' said Tamannaah Bhatia. For the unversed, a picture of Tamannaah and Virat went viral in the 2010s. Netizens claimed that the two are dating, however, it was just a formal interaction on an advertisement shoot. Tamannaah Bhatia talks about marriage rumors with Abdul Razzaq Back in the day, a picture of Tamannaah Bhatia surfaced on the internet with Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq who was present in the same jewelery shop, where the actress was. Rumors spread that the two have tied the knot and are married now. To which Bhatia said, 'Mazaak Mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The Internet is a fun place. Yaa, According to the Internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq.' While laughing on the internet-cook story, Tamannaah Bhatia said to the camera with folded hands, 'I'm sorry sir, Aapke do-teen bachhe hain, I don't know what your life is!' Further she added, 'It was so embarrassing.' She revealed that it was the opening ceremony of that jewelery shop, where they both were present. The Baahubali actress talked about how she feels when the media tags her with someone she is not connected with. Bhatia said, 'It's very awkward Jab koi bhi taaluq nahi hota hai and log bana dete hai. But there is nothing you can do. Waqt lagta hai you come to accept that aap iske baare mein kuch kar nahi sakte. Jisko jaisa sochna hai wo waisa hi sochega. Aap sabko baith ke control nahi kar sakte.' What is Raanjhanaa movie controversy? 9-point detailed timeline of AI-altered climax in re-release of Dhanush starrer

Raanjhanaa, a 2013 released much-loved romantic drama, sparked a controversy on AI-altered climax. If you have no clue about what exactly happened and why director Aanand L Rai and actor Dhanush are opposing the re-release, here's a 9-point detailed timeline of the AI-tweaked climax of Raanjhanaa. Makers announces the re-release with new climax In July 2025, Eros International, the production banner, announced the re-release of Raanjhanaa /Ambikapathy with a new ending powered by AI. The movie was announced to re-release on August 1st, 2025, in cinemas. Aanand L Rai opposed the act while disassociating himself from the movie Aanand L Rai, who directed the movie, strongly opposed the strategy. In a statement, Aanand told PTI, 'I'm heartbroken that this is the future we're heading toward, where intent and authorship are disposable. All I can do is dissociate myself from such a reckless and dystopian experiment. Raanjhanaa didn't need a new climax.' 'To see its ending altered without a word of discussion is a gross violation not just of the film, but of the trust of the fans who've carried the film in their hearts for 12 years,' the filmmaker said. Eros responded and called it a creative reimagination While responding to Aanand L Rai's comment, company's CEO Pradeep Dwivedi said, 'This is a creative reimagining, not a replacement, and is consistent with global industry practices including anniversary editions, alternate cuts, and modernised remasters." The company further stated that Eros holds the sole and exclusive copyright and producer rights of Raanjhanaa, including the legal and moral rights under Indian law. Raanjhanaa re-released with AI-ending on August 1st in cinemas; fans were divided Raanjhanaa met with mixed response during its re-release on August 1st. While some were seen hooting for the new ending, many showed their disinterest in the movie. A section of Social media called it an act of ripping off the soul of the film. What changes are made in the AI version of Raanjhanaa? While in the original print, Kundan (Dhanush) dies in the climax, the AI version showed Kundan alive. Zoya, Murari and Bindiya who were originally mourning the loss of Kundan in the OG ending, are seen smiling with happy tears when Kundan gets off the ICU bed. Aanand L Rai's social media post against AI-tweaked ending of Raanjhanaa In a social media post, Raanjhanaa director Aanand L Rai called it a devastating step and mentioned that he doesn't support the new AI changes. An excerpt from the caption reads, 'To watch Raanjhanaa, a film born out of care, conflict, collaboration, and creative risk, be altered, repackaged, and re-released without my knowledge or consent has been nothing short of devastating. What makes it worse is the complete ease and casualness with which it's been done.' 'I do not support or endorse the AI-altered version of Raanjhanaa. It is unauthorised. I had no role in it. Neither did the team that made the film. And whatever it claims to be, it is not the film we intended, or made,' wrote the filmmaker on Instagram. Anurag Kashyap, Neeraj Panday, Varun Grover and others condemn the AI-ending Industry people stood in favour of the creators and condemned the new practice. Anurag Kashyap shared a couple of social media posts which criticised the AI-ending of Raanjhanaa. Varun Grover opposed the production banner with a short story of his film Masaan and his uncle's demand of making it a happy ending. Neeraj Panday also reacted on the same and stood firm with the creators. In an interview, he said, 'If Eros says, 'We have the rights, we can do anything,' that's still no excuse. A little communication wouldn't have hurt. If they had just spoken to Anand and the other creators involved in birthing that film, it would have been the right thing to do," the director told NDTV. Dhanush released an official statement against AI-altered ending of Raanjhanaa On August 3, 2025, Dhanush, who played the lead character in Raanjhanaa, released an official statement. He wrote, 'The alternate ending has stripped the film of its very soul, and the concerned parties went ahead with it despite my clear objection. This is not the film I committed to 12 years ago.' He further stated, 'The use of AI to alter films or content is a deeply concerning precedent for both art and artists. It threatens the integrity of storytelling and the legacy of cinema. I sincerely hope that stricter regulations are put in place to prevent such practices in the future.' Eros responded to Dhanush's statement Eros reverted back with a reply to Dhanush. On August 4, the company released a statement and said, 'We would like to respectfully clarify that an Eros representative had engaged in direct communication with Mr. Dhanush's team regarding the proposed revisions, and no formal objection was communicated to us prior to the AI-enhanced re-release of Ambikapathy.' The production banner also raised questions on Aanand L Rai and Dhanush using title, themes, characters, and music of Raanjhanaa in the promotional assets of their upcoming movie, Tere Ishk Mein. Indian dance troupe mesmerises packed auditorium in Israel

Haifa (Israel), Aug 4 (PTI) India enthusiasts in Israel descended on the northern Israeli coastal city of Haifa on Monday evening to witness a rich and impressive dance performance that blended the traditional Indian dance form of Odissi with modern styles, including fusion, Bollywood, urban dance and even some shades of Middle-Eastern influences. Young dancers from the Indian dance troupe Amaiza, founded by dancer and choreographer Nitisha Nanda, known for her appearances in leading reality shows 'So You Think You Can Dance India" and 'India's Got Talent", gave a captivating performance in front of a packed Beit Aba Hushi auditorium, with the 500 people in the audience often cheering in delight. The Embassy of India in Israel, in collaboration with the Haifa Municipality, the Indian Cultural Centre and the Port of Haifa, hosted the vibrant cultural event, 'celebrating the deepening friendship between India and Israel". The northern Israeli coastal city of Haifa has a deep connection with India, having been liberated from the Ottomans in 1918 by Indian soldiers, and Major Dalpat Singh is known as the 'Hero of Haifa" for leading a successful cavalry charge that shocked military historians by its sheer audacity. 'We were taught in school that the British liberated Haifa, but I later learned that it was Indian soldiers who shed their blood to free the city," Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav told the audience. 'Once a year, we gather at the city's cemetery to honour the Indian soldiers who gave their lives to protect us," Yahav said, emphasising the city's strong bond with India. 'The relationship between India and Israel, especially with the city of Haifa, is built on trust, mutual respect and lasting friendship," India's Ambassador to Israel, J P Singh, said. 'This cultural performance is dedicated to the people of Haifa, a city with which India shares deep historical bonds. During World War I, Indian soldiers sacrificed their lives in the Battle of the Liberation of Haifa," Singh stressed. Dalpat Singh made the ultimate sacrifice in that battle, which the Indian cavalry forces fought bravely under dire circumstances to inscribe their names in the last 'major cavalry charge in history". The performance in Haifa mesmerised the audience with its passion, precision and energy, showcasing both the traditional and contemporary spirit of Indian culture. It was an evening of colour, rhythm and movement — a powerful artistic experience that left a lasting impression on the Israeli audience. The event marked the festive launch of the troupe's Israel tour, with upcoming performances scheduled at Netanya on August 5, Or Akiva on August 6 and Kibbutz Mishmar HaEmek on August 7.
