Last year, TVS gave the baby Jupiter 110 a big update, and it's been doing really well for the brand since then. Back when it was launched, we had a short spin on the company's test track, but that's never the full picture. So this time, we've lived with it in the real world: riding it in the city for a couple of months. From daily office commutes to quick grocery runs, and even the occasional spirited ride on empty stretches of road, we've put it through everything. And here's how it has fared. TVS Jupiter 110: Design and practicality Speaking about the new Jupiter 110, the first thing that catches your eye is the design. It's no longer just a plain-looking family scooter. The sharper LED DRL upfront with integrated indicators, the neatly designed side panels, and the slim LED tail-light bar all give it a more upmarket look. Even when parked among the sea of scooters outside a mall in Noida, the Jupiter manages to stand out just enough without being flashy. The under-seat storage has been reworked, now easily swallowing a full-face helmet or an office bag with some space to spare. This is thanks to the relocation of the fuel tank under the floorboard. Another small yet very practical addition is that of the front fuel filler. It has been very handy especially at Delhi's crowded petrol pumps where you don't want to be juggling your helmet and seat. Moreover, you add in the USB charging port, a decent glovebox, and a long, flat seat, what you get is a very practical, convenient scooter to live with. Beyond that, the build quality feels solid, and even after frequent use, there are no rattles or loose panels. TVS Jupiter 110: Ride and performance Now let's get to the most important bit: the ride and performance. Out on the road, the new Jupiter feels a lot more stable than before. It runs on 12-inch wheels and uses a chassis borrowed from the bigger Jupiter 125, and that setup really works well on our kind of roads. Be it potholes, tall speed breakers, or those rough patches on flyovers, the suspension manages it all without making the ride harsh. At the same time, it doesn't feel too soft either. Speaking of the powerplant, it draws its performance from the 113.3 cc motor, which makes a little under 8 bhp and about 9.8 Nm of torque. Sure, those figures don't sound too exciting on paper, but out in the real world, Jupiter feels lively enough. It gets off the line cleanly, keeps up with city traffic without any fuss, and settles into a relaxed cruise at 70–80 kmph. The power delivery is smooth and linear, which makes it easy to ride even for beginners. Push it further, and up to 85 kmph, the scooter still feels composed and doesn't sound like it's working too hard. At idle, there are some vibrations, but once on the move, the motor feels smooth and easy-going. Another feature that we liked was the iGO start-stop system. For those unversed, it basically cuts the engine at long red lights and fires it back up the moment you twist the throttle. Convenient? Yes, very. But it also saves up fuel. And speaking of that, well, we were able to manage a fuel efficiency hovering around 55 kmpl in mixed city riding. For stopping power, the model employs a front disc and rear drum setup in the higher variants - the one which we rode. Braking performance on the Jupiter feels well-judged for city use. The levers have a reassuring feel, and the Combi Braking System steps in seamlessly when you need it. Most of the time I found myself depending on the front brake, and it had enough bite to scrub off speed quickly while keeping the scooter balanced and composed. Even during hard stops, it never felt nervous. Speaking of hard stops, TVS has also added an Emergency Brake Alert system. So, when you brake hard, the tail-light flashes to warn vehicles behind you. Daily office runs and quick market trips, it has handled all of it without fuss. The combination of stability, comfort, and practicality makes it a very usable machine for NCR life, and other cities alike. All things considered, the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 comes across as one of the most well-rounded scooters in its class. Apple Watch blood oxygen feature returns: Stunning update rolls out with iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1. How can you access it?
Tech giant Apple is bringing blood oxygen detection back to its latest smartwatches after the company was forced to stop offering the feature on US models over a patent dispute. The blood oxygen feature will come to Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10 and Ultra 2 models in the US currently missing the functionality through a software update, the company said in a statement. This feature is meant to help people understand their respiratory health. Apple is rolling out a software update that enables a redesigned version of the feature for the Apple Watch Series 9, 10, and Ultra 2 that circumvents the import ban imposed by the International Trade Commission. To get around the ban, blood oxygen data collected on the Apple Watch will now be measured and calculated on the iPhone that it is paired to. In 2023, the International Trade Commission ruled that Apple had violated a patent from digital health company Masimo related to its pulse oximeter technology, which Apple denied strongly. When the order was issued, it applied only to new Apple Watches in the United States, meaning those who already owned an Apple Watch with the feature were unaffected. Apple Watches sold outside the United States were also unaffected by the order. Live Events Now, Apple has found a workaround and is restoring it through the new iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1 updates. Apple's decision to release the update follows a fresh US Customs ruling that allows the company to import watches with a redesigned version of the technology. "In a significant achievement for consumer grievance redressal in the country, ten states, along with the NCDRC, recorded a disposal rate of over 100 per cent in the month of July 2025," the department, in a statement, said. As per the data from the Department of Consumer Affairs, NCDRC achieved a disposal rate of 122 per cent. Tamil Nadu recorded 277 per cent disposal rate, Rajasthan 214 per cent, Telangana 158 per cent, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand 150 per cent each, Meghalaya 140 per cent, Kerala 122 per cent, Puducherry 111 per cent, Chhattisgarh 108 per cent and Uttar Pradesh 101 per cent. Analysis of the July 2025 data revealed that the overall disposal of consumer cases across the country was substantially higher than the corresponding period in 2024, the statement said. As of August 6, 2025, over two lakh users, including NRIs, have registered on the e-Jagriti platform since its launch on January 1, 2025, and 85,531 cases have been filed through this platform this year alone. The department launched e-Jagriti as a next-generation and unified digital platform to transform consumer grievance redressal across the country. The platform enables consumers and advocates to register via OTP-based authentication, file complaints from anywhere in India or abroad, pay fees online or offline, and track case progress in real time, the statement said.
