Cosmopolitan2 days ago
In case you missed yesterday's update, Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are dating! So prepare to spend the rest of the summer making their relationship your entire personality.
People was the first to confirm the news, speaking to a source who said "It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other."
The newly minted couple met filming The Naked Gun, but if you're wondering how things went from friendship to romance, a Daily Mail insider has all the behind-the-scenes details, saying they've been dating "a while."
"Pam is very drawn to Liam because he is totally open to her way of thinking and living, and especially her approach to fame, which is impressive," the source says. "She has been telling friends he is smitten and does a lot of sweet things for her, like sending her flowers, and spending time with her sons and dogs. Pam cooks and gardens at home... it's wholesome and appealing and very un-Hollywood and Liam loves that. He actually gets involved."
The pair have been keeping their long distance relationship under-the-radar by mostly hanging at Pamela's home in Canada, but the vibes couldn't be more romantic during their Naked Gun press tour.
Meanwhile, Liam gushed to People "With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film."

Pamela Anderson hails Liam Neeson for putting her at ease during The Naked Gun shoot

Pamela Anderson has hailed Liam Neeson for putting her at ease during the filming of The Naked Gun reboot. The former Baywatch actress, 58, has been widely reported to be in a relationship with Schindler's List star Liam, 73, and she has now spoken to the New York Times to praise her co-star him for helping ease her nerves as they shot the cop comedy reboot. She said: 'He has so much charm and so much charisma that you kind of just fall into it. 'I can't explain it because I've never experienced it before.' The new Naked Gun film marks a reboot of the classic American crime spoof franchise originally made famous by Leslie Nielsen. Liam takes on the lead role as detective Frank Drebin Jr., while Pamela plays his love interest, Beth — a woman convinced her brother has been murdered, launching the pair on an absurd adventure across Los Angeles. Pamela added she 'still felt unsure of herself at times during filming', but said Liam's calm presence on set kept her grounded. She said he told her 'You're doing great" during shooting. Pamela added: 'To do comedy, it gives you a lot of energy when you're in something so joyful and silly. 'Liam has done over 100 movies, and I hope he's inspired to do even more (comedies.)' Liam, known for dramatic and action-heavy roles in the likes of Taken and Batman Begins, also admitted to having doubts about leading a comedy. He told the New York Times: 'I don't think of myself as funny-funny, but I love laughing and gagging about.' Reflecting on his performance, he added: 'I thought I was OK, seriously. I thought I was OK.' The Naked Gun franchise began in 1982 with the TV series Police Squad! and expanded into three successful films. A source close to the production has told People Pamela and Liam are 'in the early stages' of a relationship, calling it 'a budding romance'. The insider added: 'It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other.' Pamela and Liam pair are currently promoting the film and, according to the source, are 'enjoying each other's company' off-screen during the promotional tour.

Orlando Bloom's Ex Miranda Kerr Shows Support for His Ex Katy Perry—Inside His History With Them

THE RUNDOWN Actor Orlando Bloom was the heartthrob of the early 2000s, appearing in two of the most iconic and swashbuckling action and fantasy franchises ever: Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. The star continued to have a rich career of vivid roles, but because of his early career stronghold on the box office, fans have always been interested in his dating life. 'I'm completely in love with the idea of love,' Bloom told ELLE in a 2013 interview. 'But I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart connection.' Despite being linked to many women, Bloom seems to be a bit of a serial monogamist. He's had a number of long-term relationships with other high-profile stars. Most recently, Bloom was engaged to singer Katy Perry, with whom he shares on child. The former couple announced their split in summer 2025, which means Bloom is on the market again. Here's everything we know about his dating history—and future—so far. Sienna Miller and Bloom have never discussed their romance, but they dated for four months in 2001, according to the Daily Mail. They then supposedly hooked up again for at least a day at a polo match in 2005. Bloom dated Blue Crush star Kate Bosworth beginning in 2002, before they ended their relationship in late 2005. They never talked much about their connection, but InStyle stated they met while filming a Gap commercial together just before their respective careers took off. 'I knew Orlando before he was famous at all. So we started dating way, way back in the day. And then it hit when we were together,' Bosworth said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2019. She added, 'I think when you kind of go through something like that with someone, it's like you feel like that's a real anchor in many ways because it was just crazy. We would land at airports, and he would have, like, girls, like, lifting their shirts was just wild. I mean, if you're just two normal people hanging out, and all of a sudden it just blows up into something really surreal, then you kind of look at the person you're with as a rock in many ways. And I think we felt that way about each other through a crazy time.' In 2004, Bloom spoke of Bosworth. 'I'm in love with love,' he told a British newspaper, per E!. 'It's heavenly when you're falling for someone and can't stop thinking about her.' ln January 2006, their reps released a joint statement to People announcing their breakup, saying, 'They did decide to take some time apart due to their upcoming work schedule, and they remain very close. It was a mutual decision.' In 2011, Bosworth told Vogue, via the Daily Mail, 'Orlando and I met when we were kids. Blue Crush hadn't come out. Lord of the Rings hadn't come out. He was the first big heartbreak. First love—you feel like it's the be-all and end-all. To put as little pressure on the relationship you're in is very important. I regret that it was too intense for both of us.' They seem to have remained friends and even posed for photos as recently as 2015. In 2007, E! shared a rumor that Bloom dated actress Penélope Cruz after they were spotted together at his 30th birthday party. An eyewitness told the publication, 'He couldn't keep his hands off of her. He would just keep grabbing her and kissing her. It was very sweet.' Nothing more was reported about it, but they seemed to still be friendly in 2014. Bloom entered a serious relationship with Miranda Kerr in 2007, though they supposedly had known one another for some time. Kerr said he had tried to ask her out before, but she had always said no. 'At the time, I was seeing someone else,' she explained to Hello! per People. They got engaged in June 2010 and were married a month later. In August that year, Kerr announced she was pregnant. Their son, Flynn, arrived in January 2011. The relationship ended in late 2013. Bloom and Kerr shared a statement that October reading, 'Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support, and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.' In November, he told the Irish Independent, 'We're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives. There's no question for the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn.' In 2020, Kerr told NET-A-PORTER's The Edit, 'It was the right thing to do. We weren't bringing out the best in each other. There's no hostility there, we'll always be friends.' In her podcast Moments, Kerr shared that later on, she and Katy Perry became friends through co-parenting. 'We go on holidays together; we celebrate all the important milestones. I mean I love her. It would be safe to say I love her more than Flynn's dad,' Kerr said. '[Perry] helps me deal with him because she can deal with him, and I'm so grateful that she's there because it just takes the pressure off me.' After Perry and Bloom's breakup, Kerr showed support for Perry in July by posting a photo of herself attending the singer's Lifetimes Tour along with a video of Perry performing. There was a very brief rumor in spring 2016 that suggested Bloom and Gomez hooked up while he was split up from Katy Perry after he and Gomez were seen together at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Perry herself commented on the rumors, calling them 'conspiracy theories,' and Gomez retweeted her. In 2017, Bloom was briefly linked Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev. At the time, a source People, 'It's super casual.' It seems like things fizzled out without any comment from either party. Bloom got serious again with pop star Katy Perry, but only after about a year of dating off and on through 2016 to 2017. They reportedly first linked up at a 2016 Golden Globes party, where a photographer seemed to catch the first flirtatious moments. They then split up in February 2017 and released a joint statement to People, saying, 'Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time.' A month later, Perry seemed to comment on the public's opinions of her relationship with Bloom, writing, 'HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017 U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!' In early 2018, the couple reconciled. A source told People in March that year, 'They are dating but not necessarily putting a label on it. They are not girlfriend and boyfriend. They do seem very happy together though.' Two years later, they did put a label on it: engaged. Bloom proposed to Perry on Valentine's Day in 2019, and Perry shared a photo of her engagement ring with the caption, 'full bloom.' In March 2020, the couple announced they were expecting a child and welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, in August. In 2024, Perry shared some of her thoughts on why they took time to make things work during her Call Her Daddy interview. She said, 'We weren't really in it from day one. He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot real work.' She added of her mentality versus his, 'He wasn't playing that cat-mouse game anymore. I was like, 'This is boring. I'm moving on.' I was so used to this push-pull....I was playing games.' In mid-2025, rumors started circulating that they were splitting up again. Their last public appearance together was in March 2025 at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. In June, a source told Us Weekly, 'Katy and Orlando have split, but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.' The insider added that they had been living apart since Perry went on tour and that the breakup was 'a long time coming' because things 'have been tense for months.' They confirmed the end of their relationship on July 3 with a statement shared from their reps to People, reading:

The playlists of the rich and famous: What the people in power really groove to

The top minds love the top 40. If you've wondered which tech titan likes to 'Get His Freak On' to Missy Elliot after a long day coding, or who leaves the senate blasting hardcore emo, we now have the answer. A new site claims it has been tracking the music tastes of the rich and powerful on streaming services for over a year, publishing the findings Wednesday. Advertisement Called Panama Playlists, the site reveals Millennial Veep JD Vance apparently has a Making Dinner list featuring Justin Bieber's One Time and Backstreet Boys 'I Want It That Way'. But unlike 'YMCA'-loving President Trump, Vance also rocks out with emo group Death Cab for Cutie in his music cabinet, listed on in his 'Gold On the Ceiling' playlist (named for the Black Keys song, a group from his native Ohio), according to the Panama Playlists. 12 Vice President JD Vance apparently has a Making Dinner playlist that features Backstreet Boys 'I Want It That Way,' according to a site that went live on Wednesday called Panama Playlists. / MEGA Advertisement 12 Vance's apparent Making Dinner playlist also includes Justin Bieber's 'One Time.' And when he's not building AI data fortress Stargate, OpenAI CEO's Sam Altman streams the aforementioned 'Get Your Freak On,' per his 'My Shazam Tracks' on Spotify. Advertisement How can the anonymous poster behind the Panama Playlists be sure he's got the correct tech titans, media mavens and political appointees? 'Many use their real names. With a little sleuthing, I could say with near-certainty: yep, this is them,' the anonymous eavesdropper told The Post. 12 Attorney General Pam Bondi is a fan of Foreigner's 'Cold As Ice,' according to her self-titled Spotify playlist 'Pam,' per the Panama Playlists' site. The Panama Playlists poster made clear the project is in no way affiliated with the streaming services it tracked, while Spotify pointed out all its users' playlists are public by default when contacted. Here are some of the highlights and a few eyebrow raisers from the various lists. Soothing sounds and soft rock When House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La), isn't presiding over lawmaker drama, he's apparently listening to the soothing sounds of David Tolk's new age piano composition 'Peace.'
