Strictly Come Dancing bosses 'are in talks with a HUGE British dancer and choreographer' to join next season's professional line up
Professional dancer Luke Miller, who has been performing since he was five, has made several appearances as a guest dancer on the show in the last few years.
But he is now believed to be in talks to join the BBC pro dancing team as a permanent member, according to The Sun.
An insider told the publication: 'Luke has so much experience and is already loved by everyone so he seems like a very obvious fit.
'There have been some very big clues recently that haven't gone unnoticed. Everyone thinks it's just a matter of time before Luke is announced.'
The award-winning dancer has joined the team for Strictly experience weekends, which will take place in Warner Hotels across the UK.
The spin off part of the show are typically billed as a chance for guests to meet the BBC show's well-known professional dancers.
Luke is on the line up alongside Kai Widdrington, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsakis, Katya Jones and Luba Mushtuk.
In 2024 Luke was asked to join the team to assist with choreography for some routines and is currently working with Kai on his solo tour.
Strictly bosses revealed to the publication the list of pro dancers who would be returning to the show this year.
The list included Katya, Jowita Pryzstal, Kai and 2024's winner Dianne Buswell- who took home the glitterball with celebrity partner Chris McCausland.
Nadiya Bychkova, Aljaž Škorjanec, Amy Dowden, Carlos Gu, Gorka Márquez, Karen Hauer, Lauren Oakley, Luba , Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Vito Coppola and Michelle are all also returning for this years season.
During the start of his dancing career, Luke saw huge success including a British, European and World Junior Champion all before the age of 20.
Luke's TV credits and appearances also included The UK National Television Awards and the popular 'Britain's Got Talent' making the semi-finals.
Further stage credits include being a dancer in Backlash Ballroom 2017/2018, UK Pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk 2018 and joined Burn The Floor onboard Norwegian Cruise lines in 2019.
In recent years, the Strictly pro lineup has seen Italian dancers Graziano Di Prima and Giovanni be axed following complaints about their conduct in the training room.
Giovanni faced bullying accusations from former celebrity partner Amanda Abbington while Graziano 'kicked' ex-Love Island star Zara McDermott during rehearsals.
There were also reports of a 'mass cull' with producers keen to revamp the Strictly pro cast.
Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios said : 'The excitement is already building ahead of the new series and in addition to welcoming back our fantastic returning Pros, we are looking forward to welcoming two brand new Professional Dancers to the line up who will help bring another unforgettable series of dazzling dance and loads more besides to viewers later in 2025.'
As well as the pros taking part in the competition itself, all of them will be taking to the floor each week in group routines.

Rylan Clarke just admitted an uncomfortable Doctor Who truth
Doctor Who is in a bad way – thankfully, a physician has finally arrived in the svelte form of Rylan Clarke. Yes, you read that right. While hosting a panel with Russell Tovey at the Edinburgh TV Festival, the former X-Factor star turned TV icon launched into a passionate defence of the beleaguered sci-fi series. 'Save Doctor Who! Make sure it comes back, because it's a British institution,' he told Russell, who's starring in the Doctor Who spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea. 'We can't not have Doctor Who,' he continued. 'I've been the biggest fan of Doctor Who, personally, since the reboot back in [2005] with Christopher Eccleston, and I've loved every single episode.' Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Now it's easy to write Rylan's comments off as sycophantic or obsequious (no one loved The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos), after all, he's hosting a Doctor Who panel. It's not like he was ever going to turn around and say 'I'd rather descale the kettle with my tongue than spend 20 mins watching the Doctor battle baddies made of tin foil.' Still, even if Rylan is exaggerating his Whovian credentials (we'll make sure to test him next time we speak to him), his diagnosis is an astute one. Doctor Who is a British institution, and it needs people like Rylan to speak up for it right now because if the show were a patient in a hospital, you'd be getting the crash cart ready. The last series – despite being a critical hit – wasn't particularly well received by fans and suffered low viewing figures. To make matters worse, there are rumours that Disney has pulled out of a co-production deal, a move which delayed filming on the next series and forced Ncuti Gatwa to leave the show early. There are even people whispering that perhaps the BBC can't afford to finance a new series and needs a new partner, otherwise Doctor Who will be banished to TV purgatory. None of this is helped by the BBC and Disney's decision to remain tight-lipped on the series' future, which has left the former jewel of Saturday night TV in a very odd place. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video It sort of feels like Schroedinger's TV show – both cancelled and still in production at the same time. So I'm delighted that Rylan has spoken up for Doctor Who because it feels like he's the first person to acknowledge what a lot of people in the media are too scared to admit. Doctor Who isn't the pop culture juggernaut it once was – the shelves aren't packed with Doctor Who toys, kids aren't trying to exterminate each other in the playground, and the ratings speak for themselves. Rylan wouldn't be saying the show needs 'saving' if the franchise were in good health. If we pretend that everything is hunkydory in the land of Who, then we put the show at risk of dying with no chance of regeneration. That sounds blunt, I know, but once we've acknowledged the issue, we can start to deal with it. And while Rylan's pleas to save the show may make it sound like the Doctor has a terminal condition, I think he's unintentionally hit upon the cure for the malaise that's come over this iconic series. As Rylan himself admits, he's been a fan since the 'reboot' when the show underwent a drastic change from an old-fashioned serialised story to a more modern and romantic show. Sure, the revived Doctor Who kept the spirit of the original run, but it was its own thing at the same time. For Doctor Who to be saved, it needs to embrace that spirit of change again to bring on a new generation of fans, just like how Russell T. Davies' reboot brought Rylan on board. More Trending This change should take inspiration from Russell T Davies' revival, which used the Time War to wipe the Doctor's slate clean and then slowly build in the older canon as viewers grow to love this new incarnation of the show. I'm thinking a new Doctor, a new supporting cast, a new production team, and new writers. Let's embrace what Doctor Who could be by injecting fresh blood and new ideas both on and off screen. That's the future of Who. Or to quote the Thirteenth Doctor: 'We're all capable of the most incredible change.' View More » 'We can evolve while still staying true to who we are. Strictly's Vicky Pattison proves feud with Sam Thompson is over as she poses with star after finally unblocking him
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) STRICTLY Come Dancing's Vicky Pattison has proved that her feud with Sam Thmpson is officially over, as she posed with the star after unblocking him on social media. Vicky's years-long feud with fellow reality TV alum Sam Thompson is no secret. But they've also clashed a number of times in the past. It all kicked off in 2017 when Geordie Shore legend Vicky criticised Sam's sister, Louise Thompson, over her working out on holiday. Made In Chelsea star Sam then hit back in a video of his own, saying only he was allowed to mock his sister. The war of words quickly escalated and Vicky responded by blocking Sam on social media – a block that would last for five years. But clearly putting that feud behind them, the pair now looked in great spirits as they posed for a photo together. Vicky took to social media to share a carousel of images with people she's 'grateful' for. The reality star penned to her millions of followers: 'There's been a lot to smile about recently... but mostly, it's the people in my life I feel grateful for you 🥹🩷 'Tag the people you're grateful for in my comments... and let them know what they mean to you.' Strictly Come Dancing 2025 lineup IN FULL - including Game of Thrones star & famous YouTuber Vicky looked in great spirits as she posed with Strictly's Luba in the first photo, during a glam night out. Then, in another shot, she could be seen standing with Sam, as he put his arm around her and gazed in her direction. The telly stars looked delighted to be in each other's company. Things got frosty between the pals in the past when Sam appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. Viewers saw him get upset after he was warned in the Diary Room for flicking fellow housemate Jemma Lucy's nipple. Vicky, appearing on Big Brother's Bit on the Side, pulled no punches. Speaking about the incident to Rylan, she slammed his behaviour and said: 'I think there are two ways to look at this. "One, he got upset because he knew it was a joke, Jemma knew it was a joke and he didn't mean any offence by it. "Secondly, because he's an entitled little rat who is used to always getting what he wants.' The 'rat' remark ensured the feud had well and truly taken root. Despite having a mutual friend in Towie's Pete Wicks – who is Vicky's best mate and later became one of Sam's closest pals – the two reality stars stayed firmly out of each other's way. Vicky only lifted the block on Sam in 2022 after they unexpectedly bumped into each other at a Harry Potter premiere. But while both became close friends with Pete, they were rarely in the same room at the same time.

Little-known theme park is one of the best in the UK with barely any queues and new alpaca walks
Read on to find out about a ride at the park that is the only one of its kind in the world PARK IT UP Little-known theme park is one of the best in the UK with barely any queues and new alpaca walks Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) FOUND below one of the UK's highest mountain ranges is a theme park with a human-powered rollercoaster and a solar-powered splash. While GreenWood family park located in Y Felinheli, below Mount Snowdon in North Wales, does not feature high-tech rides you'd expect to find at Thorpe Park, the little-known attraction claims to have "something for everyone". Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 5 GreenWood is home to the world's only human-powered rollercoaster Credit: Alamy Win one of 8 incredible holidays to the Caribbean, Mexico and Greece by voting in The Sun's Travel Awards - enter to win here Whilst it sounds impossible, this includes the Green Dragon Rollercoaster - the world's only human-powered coaster. Visitors must head on a funicular that takes them to a lower station, but in turn the weight of the cabin full of passengers brings the empty rollercoaster up to a higher station. The riders will then walk from the lower funicular station, back up the hill to the rollercoaster that then uses gravity to propel itself along the 250 metre track and 360-degree horizontal loop. The park also has the first solar-powered ride in the UK, which features a two-chute water slide around 60 metres long. Solar panels that generate electricity are used to power the water pumps for this ride. Unusual attractions in the park don't stop there though - the park has the Enchanted River Ride as well, where riders propel themselves along a river using ropes and paddle, seeing mystical creatures as they go. For a sensory experience there is the BareFoot Trail, dubbed to be the first of its kind in Wales. Visitors walk barefoot through different terrains including sand, straw, timber and water. Elsewhere at the TripAdvisor Traveller's Choice Award 2025 attraction, visitors can also head on a dry version of sledging, TreeTop Towers with netted walkways and tube slides and the Forest Glider - a 75 metre 'slide' in rubber rings. Why Carmarthenshire makes the perfect family hol Smaller children can enjoy the Tunnel Warren, Dragon Maze, mini diggers and tractors and a giant jumping pillow as well. At Cwtch Corner, families can interact with farm animals and learn about their habitats, including goats, ducks, pigs, guinea pigs and rabbits. New for this year, the park also has some alpacas that families can opt to go on a walk with through the 17 acre forest park, by booking in advance. Don't miss the Snowdon View Point either, with panoramic views of Wales' largest mountain range. And if the weather isn't ideal, then the park has an indoor Enchanted WoodBarn with soft play and a special area for children under the age of three. You do need to pay a fee to access the soft play, which is £3.50 per adult and £6 per child. Inside the WoodBarn is a cafe as well, selling family favourites like Welsh beef burgers for £11.80 and jacket potatoes from £7.25. For parents wanting a brew whilst the kids play, coffee and tea aren't expensive, ranging between £3.20 and £4.20. 5 And there are multiple different play features to explore across the park Credit: Greenwood Family Park If out and about in the park, there are food shacks as well, like Snowdon Snacks that serves a range of hot food including hot dogs and has a covered seating area. Or you could head to the Forest and Solar Treat Shacks for sweet treats including ice cream. Until the end of August the family park is running the 'Festival of Fun' with live music and entertainment such as circus skills workshops and arts and crafts sessions - all included in the ticket price. Make sure to check out a show, including magic acts, at the Forest Theatre too. Admission costs £25 for guests over one metre tall and £10 for those under a metre tall. Though, if you book through Picniq, you can grab tickets for £20 for visitors over a metre tall, and £7.50 for those under a metre tall. Or you could purchase a group of four tickets, for guests all over one metre tall, for £74. One visitor recently said on TripAdvisor: "[There's] something for everyone, from toddlers to teens (and adults too!) Another added: "It's a fun, affordable, and genuinely enriching day out for all ages, and we'll definitely be back if we are in the area." 5 There is a solar-powered water ride as well Credit: Google maps A third noted: "We didn't really queue for anything." The main park is open between 10am and 5pm each day. Visitors can also extend their stay at the park, by staying at the GreenWood Tipi Glamping. The site features hot showers and a fully-equipped communal kitchen. Inside the tipis, guests will find a log burner and real beds. Then outside each tipi is a barbeque and a seating area. Four of the tipis sleep up to six people and the remaining two sleep up to four people and a one-night stay starts from £95. There's no need to leave your four-legged friend at home either, as each family is allowed "two well-behaved dogs" for a fee of £30 per dog. 5 And if you want to extend your stay, there are tipis on the site Credit: Instagram/@greenwood_f_p Using GreenWood as a base, there are plenty of other areas to explore nearby including Mount Snowdon itself, Zip World and Conwy Castle. The nearby village of Y Felinheli, sits on the Menai Strait submerged valley and has some pubs and cafes to explore as well. Wales is a great holiday destination with great family attractions for all types of British weather. Plus, Wales is home to the UK's biggest underground 'theme park' in caves – and it's twice the size of St Paul's.
