Popular Twitch streamer and close friend of Kai Cenat,
RaKai
(aka 2xRaKai), has just been hit with a Twitch ban, again. This time, it's not because of something said online, but because of something
he did IRL
...and
it's got the internet talking big time. Here's everything about the incident.
Who Is RaKai?
If you're not already familiar, RaKai (aka 2xRaKai) is a rising streamer who's been gaining attention through collabs with big creators like Kai Cenat. He's young (just 16), high-energy, and until this week, very much active on Twitch. But on June 16, 2025, Twitch said 'nope' and took his channel down—for the second time.
What Actually Went Down?
On June 15, 2025, a clip started making rounds online showing 16-year-old RaKai driving a car recklessly and, yes, streaming it live.
In the clip, he's seen texting while driving, taking his hands off the wheel, and basically just treating traffic laws like side quests.
The video blew up on X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, and everywhere in between. People were shocked, not just by the driving, but by the fact that this was all happening
on stream
.
What Got Him Banned?
In a word? Recklessness. Just a day before the ban, RaKai went viral for livestreaming himself driving while looking at his phone.

And no, that's not even the worst part. At one point, he straight-up took his hands off the steering wheel on stream.
The car swerved, the internet freaked out, and Twitch clearly wasn't amused. The clip started circulating on X (Twitter) and Reddit faster than you can say 'TOS violation.'
Rakai Receives Backlash For Reckless Driving Underage | Should Rakai Be Banned From Twitch ?
Twitch Was Already Watching Him
Before the actual ban hammer dropped, RaKai had already hinted that something was up.
During a 38-second clip from his June 16 stream, he told his chat that Twitch was 'investigating' his case. He seemed unsure if a ban was coming but was trying to stay optimistic, dropping lines like:
'I thought I was over, chat… but W Twitch. W Twitch rep.'
Spoiler alert
: It wasn't a W. A few hours later, boom—his Twitch channel became
'temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.'
So What Now?
RaKai hasn't publicly responded to the ban (as of now), and Twitch hasn't said how long the suspension will last. It could be days. It could be a month. It could be permanent.
But one thing's clear—streaming while being irresponsible IRL is a fast track to getting clipped. Twitch isn't playing when it comes to unsafe behavior that spills off-screen.
Whether you're a fan of RaKai or not, this incident is a
reminder
that clout-chasing while putting lives at risk (especially your own) is not the flex some think it is. Keep the energy on stream. Not on the highway.

Why NYC Comptroller Brad Lander was arrested by masked ICE agents. Here's what he said

New York City Comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander was arrested on Tuesday by masked Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. He was escorting a defendant out of immigration court, his wife said in a statement. 'While escorting a defendant out of immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza, Brad was taken by masked agents and detained by ICE,' Lander's wife, Meg Barnette, wrote on X, platform formerly known as Twitter. 'This is still developing, and our team is monitoring the situation closely,' Barnette added. The ICE has not issued a statement about the arrest yet. In a video posted on social media, Brad Lander can be seen standing outside a courtroom when a few officers approached him. They were wearing masks. In one video, Lander can be heard saying: 'You don't have the authority to arrest a US Citizen asking for a judicial warrant.' Lander can then be seen asking officers to show him a judicial warrant. However, he is taken out of the room. The NYC Comptroller is in custody as of Tuesday afternoon, his wife said. 'I am just very aware of how I feel right now watching Brad being taken away and that it's going to be ok, and for all of those other families in there, they can't say that,' she said. Lander is a candidate in next week's Democratic primary for New York City mayor.

Raveena Tandon Faces Backlash Over Air India Post; Reddit Dubs It 'Paid' And 'Tone-Deaf'

Last Updated: A section of Reddit users accused Raveena Tandon of being 'insensitive' and speculated that the post was promotional. Raveena Tandon's recent Instagram post about flying with Air India has left the internet divided, especially in the aftermath of the tragic crash of AI171 in Ahmedabad on June 12. The actress boarded an Air India flight just days after the incident and shared pictures of her journey, noting the 'solemn atmosphere" and how the crew's 'welcoming smiles [were] tinted with sadness." In the post, she wrote, 'Godspeed always @airindia," showing solidarity with the airline and its crew. While some viewed it as an empathetic gesture toward the crew, others on Reddit questioned the timing and intent behind the post. Another user echoed the sentiment, stating, 'How can people be so out of touch with reality! Ghar tabaah hogye logon ke aur aapko kis cheez ki strength chahiye." A third added, 'So insensitive towards all the grieving loved ones who lost someone in that tragic accident. Bet it's a paid post." However, others came to her defence. One Redditor argued, 'Feel like she's motivating the crew and passengers onboard who fly regularly via these flights. There is a sense of doom and fear in crew and flyers in general so I don't see anything wrong with this." Another added, 'She's probably trying to make people understand that the Air India crew is trying their best and that people can fly Air India. I have a flight tomorrow to the UK and there's this feeling of quiet restlessness. Messages like these make me feel better. I don't think she's trying to be tone-deaf." Before Raveena, comedian Vir Das had also posted in support of the airline, calling Air India the 'best crew in the sky." The tragic crash claimed 260 lives and left several injured, shaking the country. First Published: June 17, 2025, 22:48 IST

F1 movie first reviews: Brad Pitt stuns as critics call it the 'best blockbuster in 20 years' with no negative notes

F1 movie first reviews: Brad Pitt is officially back on the race track, and critics are all hearts for it. Following a special press screening ahead of its world premiere at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 16, early reviews for F1 , the Joseph Kosinski-directed racing epic, have started rolling in, and this one might just be a game-changer for the movie business this year. The film, which stars Brad Pitt and Damson Idris as rival F1 drivers, appears to have struck the perfect balance between high-octane action and old-school movie star charm, even if its story leans a little cliché. That hasn't stopped critics from hailing F1 as one of the most electrifying and visually stunning sports dramas in years. Brad Pitt is a true movie star: Critics share rave reviews of F1 Scott Menzel, a long-time film and TV journalist, showered the film with high praise, writing on X (formerly Twitter), 'F1 is a damn good sports movie. While the script features every single cliché imaginable and the film as a whole is a bit overly long, Brad Pitt's charismatic performance proves that he, just like Tom Cruise, is a true movie star. Joseph Kosinski directs the hell out of this thing with some of the most impressive racing scenes I've ever seen on the big screen. I had my doubts about this one, but F1 is definitely a winner.' All the racing scenes will have you at the edge of your seat. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris's rivalry took the movie to the next level. Not only is it one of the most electrifying blockbusters I've ever seen and ever made, but it also delivers on every level of filmmaking. Even with standard sports storytelling, Pitt, Condon, Idris and Bardem are all aces, but it's the incredible cinematography, sound and the way it all makes you feel that will leave you in awe.
