Ralph De Leon on Will Ashley's on faded closeness with Bianca De Vera: It was all about respect, boundaries
Ralph De Leon defended Will Ashley after being questioned about his faded closeness and shift in friendship with Bianca De Vera during the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." Wednesday's episode showed the continuation of Boy Abunda's visit inside the house and Ralph and Will's turn for the "Defend Your Duo" segment. The question for Will, which was answered by Ralph, was: "Will, what happened sa sinabi mo kay Bianca after noong Boys Night Out n'yo na mas mag-e-effort ka na bumawi at maibalik ang malapit na pagkakaibigan n'yo noon? Bakit natapos ang edisyon na hindi nanumbalik ang closeness n'yo?" Ralph responded with composure, emphasizing Will's decision to prioritize respect and personal boundaries. "For Will, Tito Boy and to everyone watching, it was all about respect. It was all about boundaries because they set the boundaries within their relationship for Bianca and Dustin [Yu]," Ralph said. Per Ralph, Bianca and Dustin weren't comfortable sharing things with Will or building a relationship with Will because of what they have. "Both of them were friends with Will outside. Both of them had certain relationships with Will outside. But here in this house, they wanted to build something for themselves, and Will chose to respect that. Will chose to give them that space. And Will really just respected whatever they had," Ralph said. Will echoed his duo's sentiments, affirming that Ralph had spoken exactly what he would have said himself. "Alam na po talaga ng mga housemates, especially si Ralph, kung ano po 'yung mga totoong nangyayari talaga. Kaya 'yung mga sinabi po ni Ralph kanina, 'yun po talaga 'yung exact na mga words na gusto ko pong sabihin kung ako man po 'yung mag-e-explain para sa sarili ko po," he said. Julie Anne San Jose, Gabbi Garcia, Jillian Ward, more Kapuso stars share preparations for GMA Gala 2025
GMA Gala 2025 is just a month away and Kapuso celebrities are busy with preparations for the big event. In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" Wednesday, several stars shared what to watch for in their outfits at this year's gala. Julie Anne San Jose teased that she'll be going for something "classic but sophisticated." "Every year naman talaga kailangan. 'Yun na muna 'yung description para pag ano na, pasabog 'di ba?" Gabbi Garcia and Andrea Torres, for their part, will be trying something new in their outfits. "I've never worn this color for gala ever, so medyo hindi ako black and white this year kasi most of the time neutrals ako, so abangan nila kung ano ba 'yung kulay na susuotin ko," said Gabbi. "Meron na kaming idea, pero ginagawa pa lang 'yung damit. Excited ako for it kasi gusto naming medyo maiba naman ako dun sa mga napakita namin last three years na nag gala tayo," Andrea also shared. . Kyline Alcantara shared that her gown at this year's gala will be extravagant: "It's gonna be something else, promise, I'm so excited for all of you to see it 'cause I'm just so proud of my team that they saw this dress and there, I bought it." As for Shuvee Etrata, she and her team are still finishing her look. Meanwhile, if Kylie Padilla went for sexy in her number last year, she said that this year's will be "hotter" and in a different color. Sanya Lopez, on the other hand, cannot decide yet if she wants to go for a demure or a sexy look this year. "Dalawang gown 'yung pinagpipilian ko and nalilito ako kung ano yung pinakagusto ko, isang pa demure at isang hotter. Syempre pinag-iisipan ko pa kung anong babagay sa tema," Sanya explained. Jillian Ward, for her part, shared that she isn't preparing that much for her outfit. "Para sa'kin mas excited lang po talaga ako for the night itself, excited po talaga ako is makita 'yung mga kaibigan ko sa industry," she said. "Feisty" is the word that Sofia Pablo used to describe her gala look this year, while Elle Villanueva gown will be designed by her uncle, who is based in Dubai. "Very big thing 'to sa amin dahil napakagaling niyang designer so 'yun 'yung pinaka excited ako," said Elle. GMA Gala 2025 will be held on August 2 and is expected to be a big event as GMA Network marks its 75th anniversary this year. The star-studded GMA Gala is a fundraiser for the Kapuso Foundation, which will benefit various charitable organizations. Last year, the proceeds from GMA Gala 2024 were donated to Typhoon Carina victims through the foundation. —CDC, GMA Integrated News
