Amber Heard revealed that she'd expanded her family as she announced she'd welcomed twins in a May 11 post for Mother's Day.
The 'Aquaman' actress opened up about the "humbling" experience of becoming a parent as a single mom, as well as navigating "fertility challenges."

The 'Heard gang' gained two new members this year, as the single mom announced, 'my daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full,' in an Instagram post shared on May 11. Heard's spokesperson also confirmed the news to People, telling the publication, 'Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show.'
Sharing a photo of her newborn twins' feet, Heard—who moved to Madrid, Spain in 2022 after her highly-publicized legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp—revealed that she was 'bursting' with joy as she reflected on being a single mom 'on her own terms,' despite her fertility issues.
'Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,' she wrote. Heard, who did not name the father of her twins, continued, 'I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.'
The Aquaman actress closed out her message with a shoutout to other moms, writing, 'To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love always.'
Heard, who was most recently romantically linked to Bianca Butti since her 2017 divorce, previously called becoming a mom 'the beginning of the rest of my life' when she welcomed Oonagh. 'Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms,' she wrote in a July 2021 Instagram post. 'I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.'
