Malaika Arora says people judged her divorce with Arbaaz Khan; admits she was called ‘Selfish' for putting herself first - 'I wanted my marriage to last forever'
, one of Bollywood's most recognized faces, recently opened up about her divorce from actor-producer
Arbaaz Khan
, shedding light on the personal battles behind her decision.
Speaking with Pinkvilla, the actress admitted that ending the marriage was one of the toughest choices of her life.
'Of course I would have loved for my marriage to be forever. But that didn't happen.
That doesn't mean I have lost faith in love, or that I made a huge mistake,' she said.
For Malaika, relationships are fragile, and while she tried to make it work, life took another turn.
'What people forget is… you can put yourself first'
The actress revealed that while the decision was hers, it came with immense judgment from society. Fingers were pointed at her, with many labeling her choice as selfish.
'What people forget is… people think it's wrong to put yourself first. But what is the harm? I needed to be happy before making anybody else happy. I was not happy. People said, 'What a selfish decision,' but I did what I felt was right. Today, I feel that decision has helped me be a better person,' Malaika explained.
She stressed that prioritizing her own well-being was not about abandoning responsibilities, but about becoming stronger for herself and her family.

72-foot clay idol highlight of this year's Vinayaka Chavithi
Vijayawada: A 72-foot clay Ganesh idol will be the star attraction of this year's Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations. The idol is being set up at the RTC grounds in Vidyadharapuram area of Vijayawada by Doondi Ganesh Seva Samithi, which has conducted similar festivities at the same venue in previous years. This year's Lord Ganesh idol has been carved as 'Sri Karyasiddhi Maha Ganapathi'. The idol, said to be the tallest in Vijayawada, has been crafted entirely with eco-friendly clay. A team of 90 skilled artisans from Odisha has been working tirelessly day and night to complete the idol before the festival. "Creating such a huge idol from clay is tough and complicated. We first shape the iron frame, then each layer of clay must be fixed properly. When rains come, it damages the surface, and we have to repair the same portion again and again," explained Devender, one of the workers involved in the project. The recent heavy rainfall in Vijayawada caused setbacks, damaging parts of the idol and forcing artisans to redo several sections. Despite the difficulties, work has been progressing at a steady pace. Organisers said the emphasis this year is not only on size but also on spreading awareness about eco-friendly celebrations. "We deliberately chose clay instead of Plaster of Paris because we want to inspire others. If we can show that a massive idol of this scale can be made with clay, smaller organisers will also follow the same path," said Rakesh, one of the organisers overseeing the arrangements. The idol is expected to draw thousands of devotees once it is unveiled. Alongside prayers and darshan, cultural programmes and community services are also planned at the venue, making the celebration a major highlight of the festival in the city. Among the latest additions introduced during the Beanstalk Event is the Eclipse Mutation. Considered one of the strongest and most visually striking upgrades in the game, the Eclipse Mutation in Grow a Garden has quickly become a must-have for dedicated players. However, acquiring it is no easy task, as it appears only during the rare Solar Eclipse weather event. If you do not know how to get Eclipse Mutation in Grow a Garden , here is a comprehensive guide to understanding the mechanic, timing the event, and maximising the benefits of this highly prized mutation, according to a report by Beebom. The Eclipse Mutation in Grow a Garden is a unique power-up that transforms ordinary crops into rare, glowing versions. Crops with this mutation display a shiny aura, starry effects, and, most importantly, a dramatic boost in value. With a 15x multiplier, Eclipse surpasses many existing mutations in terms of returns, making it one of the most lucrative options for players who want to grow both their gardens and their profits. The Eclipse Mutation was introduced as part of the Beanstalk Event, and has quickly become a favourite among players not only for its in-game value but also for its visual appeal. This event is triggered periodically by the game developers and is marked by a black sun icon with orange rays appearing at the bottom-right corner of the screen. When the Solar Eclipse begins, the lobby darkens, with the rare eclipse visible in the virtual sky. During this period, crops planted in your garden have a chance to acquire the Eclipse Mutation. Once the weather event concludes, the opportunity vanishes until the next Solar Eclipse cycle. This time-limited nature makes the Eclipse Mutation one of the hardest to obtain, requiring players to be alert, prepared, and strategic. Also Read: Grow a Garden Beanstalk Shop: Goliath's Goods item list, how to unlock, price, and best merchandise Best Strategies to Secure the Eclipse Mutation Because the Eclipse Mutation is restricted to a limited window, preparation is critical. Experts suggest a few strategies to increase chances of success, as per a report by Beebom: 1. Plant Multi-Harvest Crops Players are advised to focus on multi-harvest plants such as Sugar Apple, Dragon Pepper, Bone Blossom and Beanstalk. These crops produce multiple fruits, meaning more opportunities for the Eclipse Mutation to trigger during the short-lived event. 2. Optimise Your Garden Before the Event One of the common frustrations players report is receiving mutations on lower-value crops such as strawberries or blueberries. To avoid this, players should use tools like the shovel to remove low-tier plants before the Solar Eclipse begins. This ensures that the available mutation slots are more likely to apply to higher-value crops, thereby maximising the potential 15x multiplier benefit. 3. Use Sprinklers Strategically As the event approaches, deploying multiple sprinklers can help accelerate crop growth. Stacking sprinklers ensures larger yields and a greater chance of harvesting crops with the Eclipse Mutation effect. This step is particularly useful for those trying to get as many Eclipse crops as possible before the event ends. 4. Harvest and Replant Wisely Players are encouraged to harvest valuable plants just before the Solar Eclipse and replant them. This refreshes the chances for mutations during the event and reduces the likelihood of wasting opportunities on crops that were already matured. Also Read: What are Woody Plants in Grow a Garden? Complete list and how to get them — Complete Guide Why Eclipse Mutation Grow a Garden is Worth the Grind The Eclipse Mutation is more than just a cosmetic upgrade. With its 15x multiplier, it stands out as one of the most powerful mutations in Grow a Garden . For players focusing on in-game economics, this mutation can turn regular harvests into massive windfalls, significantly boosting resource accumulation and progress speed. Beyond the numbers, the Eclipse effect has aesthetic appeal. Crops with this mutation glow with cosmic radiance, making gardens stand out visually. Many in the community consider it a badge of prestige, as securing the Eclipse Mutation requires both preparation and timing. The drawback, however, lies in its exclusivity. Since the Solar Eclipse weather event is both rare and time-limited, players must often wait for days, and in some cases, weeks, for the chance to obtain the mutation. Comparing Eclipse Mutation with Other Mutations Several mutations exist in Grow a Garden , each with unique effects and multipliers. While some enhance crop growth or add aesthetic elements, few can rival the economic advantage of Eclipse. Most standard mutations offer multipliers in the range of 2x to 5x. Eclipse's 15x multiplier makes it a standout option, even when compared to other rare mutations like Bloom or Fortune. For profit-driven players, it is arguably the best mutation available. For players wondering how to get the Eclipse Mutation in Grow a Garden , the answer lies in preparation and timing. Only obtainable during the Solar Eclipse weather event, this rare mutation provides both visual brilliance and unmatched in-game value. By planting multi-harvest crops, clearing lesser plants, using sprinklers effectively, and staying alert for the event icon, players can maximise their chances of success. While patience is required due to its rarity, the reward, a glowing crop with a 15x multiplier, makes the effort worthwhile. FAQs How do I know when the Solar Eclipse event starts in Grow a Garden? Players can identify the Solar Eclipse event by looking for the black sun icon with orange rays at the bottom-right corner of the screen. The in-game environment will also turn dark, signalling the start of the event. Is the Eclipse Mutation permanent once obtained? Yes. Once a crop acquires the Eclipse Mutation, it retains its 15x multiplier and glowing appearance, making it one of the most valuable long-term investments in Grow a Garden .

Rajesh Khanna's alleged girlfriend Anita Advani reveals they fought often, once told him he could have a harem: 'He said, people get married four times, they have so many girlfriends'
Bollywood's first superstar Rajesh Khanna 's personal life has always intrigued fans. He married Dimple Kapadia , who was half his age, in 1973, but the two separated within a few years when Dimple moved out with their daughters, Twinkle and Rinke. Years later, Rajesh 's alleged girlfriend Anita Advani moved into his residence, and they lived together until his death in 2012. Frequent fights and harsh words In a new interview with YouTube channel Meri Saheli, Anita shared insights into her turbulent relationship with the late actor. She revealed that they often fought, and whenever she felt deeply offended, she would leave his house. Recalling one such incident, she said Rajesh once praised another woman in front of her, which left her furious. 'I said, 'Okay then, you be with her'. He said, 'I am just talking about her' but I was extremely mad. He said, 'People get married four times, they have so many girlfriends'. So I said, 'Why girlfriends? You can have a harem. You can do whatever'. We fought a lot and I left,' Anita recalled. Rajesh's reaction after a fight Anita shared that the very next day, while she was attending an event, Rajesh called her repeatedly. 'He said, 'There has been some legal order about Ayodhya and things could get out of control, there could be riots, so you come back to the house now'. I said, 'Then good riddance of bad rubbish. You have so many people to be with so why are you bothered about me?' He said, 'Don't talk rubbish. If something happens to you, I will burn the world down',' she said. Rajesh Khanna's 10th death anniversary: When Dimple Kapadia spoke fondly about her ex-husband: 'We may have separated…' 'We got married privately' In the same interview, Anita claimed she first met Rajesh when she was still in her teens and he was already a superstar. While Rajesh and Dimple never officially divorced, Anita alleged that she and the actor tied the knot privately. 'We got married privately, but in the film industry, no one talks about such things openly. Everyone says 'we're friends' or 'we're in a relationship' or something else. But it was already reported in the media that I was with him, so neither of us felt the need to go and publicly announce that we were married. We never felt that need,' she added.
