‘Excited And Equally Nervous': Comedian Sumukhi Suresh On Chhoriyan Chali Gaon
Zee TV's new reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon is set to take 11 popular faces from the TV and digital world to face the challenges in rural India for over 60 days. Among others, Sumukhi Suresh, a well-known comedian, will also be participating in the show. Speaking about her decision to participate in the show. Sumukhi said she felt the show was quite unique and would be a good experience for her.
'I'm incredibly excited and equally nervous as this is going to be the very first time I live in a village, and that too as a part of a reality show. That's a challenge like no other! All 11 of us are stepping into this without any of the comforts we're used to, no phones, no gadgets, and if you think we know what's coming, trust me, we don't. That's what makes Chhoriyan Chali Gaon so special – it thrives on the unpredictable. The unpreparedness is the most beautiful part of this journey," she said.
While some popular celebrities are expected to be seen on the show, Rannvijay Singha will serve as host and mentor for the participants on this transformative journey, guiding them through every twist and turn. Sumukhi added, 'Rannvijay is hands down the perfect person to guide us through this. His personality strikes that perfect balance between motivating a contestant and someone who can hold us accountable."

Chhoriyan Chali Gaon will bring together a mix of television and digital media personalities and place them in a remote village environment, far from the luxuries of city life. The show will look at how city inhabitants adapt to a drastically different lifestyle, putting their dedication and capacity to survive without modern amenities.

The collision, which occurred between Bindu Madhav Thackeray Chowk and the JVLR signal, also injured the family's caretaker and left the composer shaken. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, booking both the Uber driver and the crane operator for negligence. According to Vikhroli police, the incident occurred between Bindu Madhav Thackeray Chowk and the JVLR signal when Hazarika was travelling from his Goregaon studio to Thane with his mother and their caretaker, Kaderun Nisa. Police said the Uber driver crashed into a crane that had been parked without any signal or parking lights. 'The Uber hit the crane from behind, injuring everyone inside the cab. Sultana's injuries were severe, and she was unable to speak after the accident," a police official stated. Bystanders assisted in rushing Sultana to Fortis Hospital in Mulund, where doctors declared her dead before admission. The caretaker also sustained injuries in the collision. Legal action Vikhroli police have filed a case against the Uber driver under sections 106(1), 125(a), 125(b), and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act for negligent driving. The crane operator has also been booked. Authorities confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. In a chat with Zee TV, Madhavan recalled, 'Yeah, in fact, one of the Reels that I saw had somebody praising Virat Kohli to high heavens. In fact, I think it was Ronaldo…how much he enjoyed watching Kohli bat and how much of a legend he thought he was. And I proudly forwarded that, I put it on Instagram and then I got a message from Anushka saying bhai, it's a fraud, it's AI." He admitted it was embarrassing but acknowledged it as a valuable lesson on verifying what we share online. 'It's really embarrassing, like, oh! So even somebody like me who is pretty aware was completely taken away. And then, when she told me the flaws, I realised, arey haan, yeh to bada gadbad hain (yes, this is an issue). So one has to be very careful that whatever you're forwarding is very credible."
