Emily - who recently announced her engagement - stormed through the rounds and made it to the Super Catchphrase finale.
However, the wheels quickly fell off for the actress as she struggled to get an answer to secure £2,500.
The first catchphrase saw a man chop into a cauliflower in his kitchen, revealing cheese inside.
After a couple of unsuccessful guesses, Emily moved on to another, which featured two men shaking hands over a loaf of bread.
They then smashed it with mallets, but Emily didn't have a clue and cried: "What? These are hard!"
She then moaned "Oh no!" before deciding to move on to another, but the situation did not improve.
As the clock ticked down, she was shown a box on a street which opened to show letters inside.
She passed, and went for a fourth go at securing £2,500, which the catchphrase showing a couple trying to check into a hotel, with a fully booked sign next to the front desk.
But the man then pulled a cord and they were able to go in, with Emily correctly guessing: "Pull some strings."
However, she only had five seconds left and was unable to start on the catchphrase that could have landed her charity £5,000.

As the time ran out, host Stephen Mulhern put his hands to his face while Emily said again that it was "so hard" and put her hand to her forehead.
Stephen then revealed the answers to the three catchphrases she had missed.
The first catchphrase she passed on was 'cauliflower cheese', while the second was 'breaking bread' relating to when people meet each other.
The third one ended up being 'letter box', prompting Emily to say "Oh my God!" and put her hand to her mouth.
It wasn't all bad for Emily though, as Stephen added her £2,500 to the money she had won earlier in the show, meaning she was taking a total of £7,200 to her chosen charity.

ITV Coronation Street stars' real-life age gap leaves fans stunned

Coronation Street stars Claire Sweeney and Alan Halsall play mother and son duo Cassie and Tyrone Dobbs, but fans have been left seriously shocked by their real-life age gap Coronation Street fans have been left stunned by the real-life age difference between Claire Sweeney and Alan Halsall, who portray mother-son duo Cassie and Tyrone. ‌ Alan first appeared on our screens as Tyrone in the iconic ITV soap back in 1998. Since then, he's become a main character of the show, featuring in numerous significant storylines. ‌ From his romantic links and subsequent marriage to Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) to enduring domestic abuse from his fiancée Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede), Tyrone's stint in Weatherfield has been anything but uneventful. ‌ Cassie on the other hand made her Weatherfield debut in 2023 as Tyrone's estranged mother and a recovering drug addict. It didn't take long for her to find herself caught up in some drama. Earlier this year, she was responsible for poisoning Ken Barlow (William Roache) who she was caring for, in a shocking attempt to extend her presence in his life, as reported by the Mirror. ‌ In a dramatic turn of events, Ken was rushed to hospital following a heart attack and thankfully he survived. The truth about Cassie's role in Ken's health scare was eventually unveiled, leaving the community, including Tyrone, horrified. Despite everything, Ken forgave her and she has since moved back in with Tyrone. Adding to the intrigue, Cassie has recently rekindled her romance with Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and the pair gone public with their relationship. ‌ However, away from the cameras, fans have been intrigued by the age difference between actors Claire and Alan. Claire is 54 and Alan is 42, which means there's a 12 year age gap between the two stars. However, their on-screen characters, Cassie and Tyrone, have a larger age difference of nearly 16 years. "Just found out that Claire Sweeney and Corrie son Alan have an 12-year age-gap wth," one person expressed surprise on a Corrie Facebook fan page. Another added: "Another unrealistic age gap." A third was taken aback, commenting on the social media platform: "Oh wow I didn't realise that." Yet another wrote: "I've said from the start she doesn't look old enough to be Tyrone's mum."

It doesn't feel good, but I think it's going to be really good.' Shakira warned: 'Baby steps.' Harry replied: 'Yeah, I'm good with that.' Emily Atack and Danny Dyer's new primetime ITV game show is revealed - and insiders say its premise is VERY familiar

Emily Atack and Danny Dyer 's new primetime ITV game show has been revealed, but its premise is raising eyebrows. It was revealed earlier this year that the pair, who both starred in the Disney+ hit Rivals, will front a Saturday night game show called Nobody's Fool. Bosses at the broadcaster brought in the pair in a bid to 'freshen up their entertainment talent', it was reported. The duo are reportedly set to receive a whopping £250,000 each for the gig, with the show expected to air next year. But similarities between Nobody's Fool and Rivals are said to have raised eyebrows behind the scenes. A source told The Sun: 'Rivals is the story of a web of rival individuals which is spun around a stately house, Penscombe Court, and their efforts to constantly outdo one another. 'That's exactly the basis for the new gameshow, which also has the background of a country pile and sees all the competitors try to outwit one another. 'Those in the know are already describing it as: "A game of intellect and deception" which could be the catchline for one of Jilly's novels.' MailOnline has contacted representatives for Danny and Emily for comment. Danny and Emily have been busy so far this year filming the second series of the smash-hit series, based on the racy books of Dame Jilly Cooper. Danny, who played pub landlord Mick Carter in EastEnders for almost a decade, is no stranger to game shows. The hardman previously hosted The Wall for the BBC, which ran for three series before ending in 2022 when Danny left EastEnders and the BBC. Mum-of-one Emily starred as a team captain on now-axed CelebJuice with Keith Lemon and Laura Whitmore. Danny recently revealed there is so much bonking in Rivals 2 – which is currently filming - that they have hired every intimacy coach in the UK. He said: 'We are doing 12 episodes of Rivals and we are filming until March next year. 'It is brilliant but it is a mad thing to do a sex scene. If you think about it you are legally allowed to tongue someone else. It is part of your job. Depending on your partner. It is OK if you fancy it, I am not going to lie.' He added: 'On Rivals there are a lot of intimacy coaches. I think we used every intimacy coach in the land.' In the smash hit Disney + show, based on the novel by Jilly Cooper, Danny played self-made businessman Freddie Jones who goes into business with Rupert Campbell-Black, played by Alex Hassell and Declan O'Hara played by Aidan Turner. In the show Jones falls in love with romance author Lizzie Vereker, played by actress Katherine Parkinson. The initial run was eight episodes but Disney + have asked for more this time around. Danny's performance as Jones has been hailed as bringing heart to the frothy, pulpy show, which has led to a reassessment of him as an actor, following his long-running stint in EastEnders. He was awarded a Bafta in May for his performance in Mr Bigstuff. He told Esquire magazine: 'People saw me in a different light[in Rivals], and it came out just after Mr. Bigstuff, which, for once, shows a bit of versatility, because Lee is so different to Freddie. 'I've made a lot mistakes over the years. I've said yes to a lot of jobs I probably shouldn't have, probably because I was driven by the dollar – I had bills to pay and kids in private schools. Now, I'm at a stage where I have loads of offers that I've got the power to say no to. I think I'll be defined by what I say no to, and it's really exciting for me.' On stage at the Baftas where he won the award to Best Male Performance in a Comedy he said: 'What a touch! Comedy performance. I thought my acting was so bad it was funny. I want to thank Sky for giving our show a shot. F***ing hell, I'm choked up. 'I got to dedicate this to (Mr Bigstuff writer) Ryan Sampson. One of the greatest things to come out of Rotherham. Which is not saying much. 'But one of the best actors this country's ever produced, I'm telling you. Never done the same thing twice. Which is not something I can say. He wrote this part for me, so you know... I'm getting choked up again, f**k me.'
