Like a professional choreographer, the little girl tries to teach the Shaky Shaky moves step-by-step, but the father is struggling.
Isha Malviya's Marathi music video, Shaky Shaky, has become the trendiest song in recent times. The infectious hook step got everyone on the internet grooving with their own take on the track. Thousands of users are taking to social media to share their dance videos. Out of all the performances, a video of a father and daughter dancing to this trendy track is breaking the internet.
The delightful reel, which has taken social media by storm, features a young girl trying her best to teach her father the hook step of the popular song.
What's In The Video?
In the heart-melting video that comes with an overlay text, 'Papa born to do the nagin dance, forced to do shaky shaky," the little girl confidently leads the choreography and guides her dad through the peppy moves of the song. Like a professional choreographer, she tries to teach the moves step-by-step, but the father is clearly struggling.
After repeated practice, when the father failed to perform the moves, the child was seen adorably scolding as she was visibly frustrated. But the father's willingness to learn and the child's changing expressions have left viewers smiling.
How did the internet react?
Whether he masters the Shaky Shaky moves or not, this papa has won the internet's heart. Social media users couldn't stop admiring the little girl's choreography and the father's hilarious dance steps. A majority of users pointed out that the father struggled hard not to do the Naagin dance.
'She is teaching so cutely, and Dad is in full mood with 'Mein Nagin Nagin dance nachna,'" read a comment.
Another wrote, 'Struggling hard not to do that Naagin pose."
'She is born to be a choreographer," commented a user.
An individual stated, 'Golden moment of a father and daughter."
'OMGG!!! It's such a cute video…," wrote an Instagram user.
An account posted, 'This is the cutest thing I have seen today."
'Even I can't do this dance…looks like this choreographer is my only hope to learn the dance," a user remarked.
Another individual wrote, 'Papa is cute!!! Andar ka nagin dance Bahar aa raha hai."
Shaky Shaky's Journey
Reflecting on his idea of blending different beats in Shaky, singer Sanju Rathod, in an interview with The Rolling Stones India, explained, 'It's a space where folk and pop, traditional and contemporary, could merge into something entirely new. So honestly, fusion was always around me growing up. He instinctively sang a few lines from an old Banjara folk song that had a strong Rajasthani feel. We recorded it, processed his voice to sound like a choral female section, and suddenly, there was this hauntingly beautiful folk layer in the track."
The singer, who first gained attention with the 2024 song Gulabi Sadi, shared that his love for folk music and pop sounds comes from spending a lot of time on YouTube while growing up. But his interest in hip hop began after his breakup in college. The girl he was dating at the time was a huge fan of Yo Yo Honey Singh, and after their relationship ended, he felt motivated to become a well-known artist. That's when he started writing Hindi songs, inspired by Honey Singh's hip hop style.

Did Rebel Kid aka Apoorva Mukhija's ex-boyfriend, just drop a ‘cute little red flag' song for her? Song accuses of lies and cheating

Known online as Rebel Kid, Apoorva Mukhija has been trending for reasons beyond her viral videos. After Sufi Motiwala hinted at their friendship ending, her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya, has now fired back with a cryptic but sharp message. What did Utsav Dahiya post online? On Sunday, Utsav uploaded a song titled Cute Little Red Flag on Instagram, a phrase Apoorva often uses in her content. Alongside, he penned a long note accusing her of spreading lies, twisting narratives, and portraying him as toxic. He claimed, 'I dodged a bullet,' alleging that he even caught her cheating. One of the biting lyrics went: 'Pucha maine ghatiya kyun bola mujhe duniya ke liye, kehti baby yeh toh sab dhandha hai mere liye.' Watch video View this post on Instagram A post shared by Utsav Dahiya (@utsavdahiya) Did he threaten to share receipts? Yes. In his caption, Utsav wrote, 'Ab agar koi aur bakwaas kari toh main seedha receipts nikalunga.' He accused Apoorva of using her large following to rage-bait audiences and bully others. He further said he once contacted Apoorva's agency to clarify his name, but was dismissed with, 'You're a nobody, be glad you dated her.' His reply: 'Numbers only matter on an app. Truth stands without followers.' He ended with another jab, 'Toh tum chalao apna ghar kalesh se, but stop spreading lies about others. Let people do some real work in their lives. Grow up, kid.' How did the internet react? On Reddit, many praised Utsav's 'revenge through art'. One user joked, 'Utsav toh Taylor Swift nikla.' Another wrote, 'Turning trauma into music is classy revenge.' Several netizens felt he had been wronged and finally took a stand. What was Apoorva's past stand? Back in January last year, Apoorva publicly confirmed her breakup with Utsav, hinting that he was abusive and 'ghatiya'. She told fans she would reveal her next partner 'only at the wedding'. Since then, her breakup tales have become part of her storytime content. At the heart of it, what looks like just another social media spat has now turned into music, memes, and a very public blame game — one that the internet is eagerly watching.

‘South stars are humble, simple as compared to Bollywood': Shruti Haasan says they have ‘higher level of awareness'

Actor Shruti Haasan is currently basking in the glory of her recent film Coolie, which has crossed Rs 200 crore domestically. Like many actors who transition to Bollywood after tasting success in the film spheres of the south, Shruti did the same, but her Hindi film journey was quite short-lived. In a recent interview, Shruti talked about the various unique things about the Tamil and Telugu film industries and how Bollywood is a very different place when it comes to the psychology of the individual working there. She told THR that people in the south, especially the bigger actors, are very concerned that if they don't remain humble, 'Saraswati ka haath sar se uth jayega' (Goddess Saraswati will withdraw her blessings). She commented on the importance of being humble and god-fearing and said, 'I mean, it's hard to talk about being pious or anything of that sort in my home because my father doesn't believe in anything of that sort. But when I started working, I noticed those small things, like having coconut in the morning or having a photo of a deity sitting in the corner. There were rules regarding what was and wasn't allowed on set, and the actor and their staff were always very aware of how they presented themselves. I found there to be a higher level of awareness and consciousness in the South, compared to when I worked in the Hindi film industry.'' ALSO READ: Farah Khan confirms cook Dilip gets paid extra for YouTube appearances, tells Shruti Haasan he gets a 'lot, more than everyone here put together' She explained her observations further and credited a completely different art form for making her humble and aware. 'I think it's just a South Indian thing to do; you know, many people who have a lot of money won't dress up very flashy. They will still have that old Ambassador car for many years. It's just the psychology of the place, and it's very important to realise that we are merely vessels for the art. We aren't a conduit of any kind; the conduit is a good film, a good script or even a good song. We just receive that art, and we are supposed to spread it outwards. 'Learning music very early in my life and working with people in close quarters for hours on end teaches you to just play your bits, to not try to surpass anyone else, and to be humble,' said Shruti. Talking about her stint in Hindi film, Shruti admitted that she hasn't been able to pinpoint exactly what went wrong and said, 'I really don't know why it didn't work. I went to the places where, whatever I wanted from a film, I got. But somehow the focus shifted, because I have always had enquiries from Hindi, and sometimes I didn't have the dates, or in some cases I made wrong decisions in films, which everybody suffers the price of. The Hindi film space is also very different now, and with OTT coming into play, I think I get offered a lot of things which I am more interested in, and I will do more of.' Shruti has worked in Hindi films such as Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013), Luck (2009) alongside Imran Khan and Sanjay Dutt, and Behen Hogi Teri (2017) with Rajkummar Rao.
