Saturday Night's Main Event predictions
Here's how we see the matches going on Saturday.
GUNTHER vs. Bill Goldberg prediction
I'm really looking forward to this match. Goldberg isn't a kid, but he is a legend. And he will give this match his all. He's in there against one of the best. If anyone can protect a guy who isn't at his best, it's the ring general. Goldberg is going to hit some big moves, he's going to make it fun, and he's going to go out on his back. Looking forward to this, looking forward to see where GUNTHER goes from here and happy that Bill Goldberg is getting a chance at his retirement match. And this is coming from a huge Bret Hart fan! Prediction: Goldberg shines, GUNTHER wins.

Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight prediction
Is anyone better than these two right now? It's crazy that this match is on free TV. Seth Rollins is the hottest thing in wrestling, something that often happens with Paul Heyman guys. And the fans are so in love with LA Knight. He's in the mix as a top guy and he's capable of doing even more. I don't want to see either of these guys lose. The winner will get help. It would make sense for Rollins' henchmen to interfere and cost LA, but I think Roman Reigns returns here. Why not? Have him come out, beat up Seth, and set up a SummerSlam match. I still want this match to headline WrestleMania, but if they're doing it in New Jersey, I'm all in! I'm going with LA Knight. Yeah!
Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre prediction
A friend floated an interesting double turn in this match. I never thought of it, but Orton is slowly turning bad and how much longer will the fans boo a guy like Drew McIntyre? That's a great idea. This will be another great match with two top stars, and it's crazy WWE can just throw matches like this around on free TV and not worry about burning through a main event because the roster has so much depth. Both should win, so it's a coinflip. I'm going with Drew McIntyre winning. I'd really like to see him vs. GUNTHER soon.

Solo Sikoa vs. Jimmy Uso prediction
This is going to have a bunch of interference, and hopefully it gets the Bloodline back on track. I can't see them taking the title off of Solo, so I'll say his friends jump in and cost Uso the chance at the win, but Jacob Fatu comes out and him and Jimmy clean house. Maybe Jey comes back to help? The Bloodline was the best storyline in WWE history, and I'm not sure what inning we're in now, but I'd be all for a doubleheader. Prediction: Solo Sikoa retains US Title, but crazy stuff happens after.

Former NFL QB Teddy Bridgewater suspended from Miami Northwestern coaching job, cites self-reporting
Teddy Bridgewater, the former NFL quarterback and current high school coach, has been suspended from his coaching role at Miami Northwestern, the school he once attended. The action stems from allegations that he provided impermissible benefits to players. Bridgewater, 32, acknowledged the suspension in a Facebook post Sunday, saying he remains committed to the program. "The suspension came from MNW," Bridgewater wrote. "It's impossible to suspend someone who doesn't work for you. So if I'm suspended from MNW, I'm free to go to another school of my choice but I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE." Coach says he self-reported payments Bridgewater previously posted on Facebook that he had paid for Uber rides, meals and recovery services for players last season. He asked for public donations to help cover those costs in the upcoming year. In the same post confirming his suspension, Bridgewater said he had self-reported the payments to the school. "There was no investigation… We SELF REPORTED," he wrote, adding that he believed the school administration wanted him gone. Bridgewater led Miami Northwestern to a Class 3A state championship in his first year as coach in 2024. Bridgewater started started in 65-of-78 career games in the NFL, since being drafted in 2014: Vikings (2014-17), Saints (2018-19), Panthers (2020), Broncos (2021) and Dolphins (2022).

All-Star pitching controversy, MLB Draft reactions & weekend recap
The All-Star festivities are already underway in Atlanta, and there has been no lack of drama leading up to Tuesday night's main event. With rosters in flux as players drop out of the game, the latest conversation is around who has been selected to be on the mound. The Brewers' Jacob Misiorowski was named to the NL All-Star team as an injury replacement. Misiorowski has only pitched 25.2 innings in the majors; the fewest innings a pitcher has ever pitched and been named to an All-Star team. That being said, having an ERA of 2.81 and allowing only 12 hits, 8 runs and striking out 33 in those 25.2 innings is pretty impressive. Is five starts enough to justify an All-Star appearance? MLB seems to think so, as they look for who will draw the most eyes Tuesday night, but the players seem to have taken exception to this selection. Jake and Jordan discuss everything surrounding the drama and give their takes. Advertisement Some more news about who will be on the mound was announced over the weekend as we found out the All-Star pitching starters. Pittsburgh Pirate Paul Skenes and Detroit Tiger Tarik Skubal are set to face-off in Atlanta on Tuesday. This matchup has provided a lot less controversy and a lot more excitement than the Misiorowski drama. Jake and Jordan talk about what they expect to see from this matchup and how the selection process went down. We got to see MLB's future on and off of the field this weekend. Not only did the MLB Futures Game happen, which the guys chat about, but the first round of the 2025 MLB Draft took place on Sunday. The Washington Nationals selected Eli Willits, a 17-year-old shortstop, with the first overall pick. The drama did not stop there and our draft guru, Jordan, breaks down all the highlights and takeaways from the first day of the draft. Finally, non-All-Star related MLB games were played this weekend. The Red Sox mopped the Rays, the Mariners swept the Tigers and the Brewers swept the Nationals. The guys fill you in on all the highlights from a packed weekend in baseball. Plus, Paul Konerko received a signed White Sox jersey from the Pope. Antipasto-gate: How a $40 salad sparked viral small-town drama on TikTok
Southern small-town drama has made its way to TikTok. If you're not familiar with antipasto-gate, read on. The saga began on July 4, 2025, when a woman named Nicole attended a party she had been invited to by her son's friend's mom. The event was hosted by a local couple who, according to Nicole, had been informed she would be attending. As a newcomer to the town and appreciative of the invitation, she brought along a homemade antipasto salad. But when Nicole and her son arrived, she says they were immediately met with hostility. Called a 'stranger' by the host's mother, she was made to feel so unwelcome that she eventually left in tears. 'I don't normally post things like this, but I am absolutely humiliated,' she says through tears in a video posted to TikTok. 'This is why you don't make friends in your thirties.' The perfect storm of TikTok's appetite for drama, the 'you can't sit with us' relatability, and the wasted salad ('It was like, probably a $40 salad,' according to Nicole) helped the incident go viral. The original video now has over 35.3 million views. 'I'd recognize this salad anywhere lol. I've been so invested in this drama,' one user wrote in a dedicated Reddit thread. Memes, comedy sketches, explainer videos, and AI depictions of the scene have since circulated. 'There's a Netflix meeting somewhere right now discussing a mini series!' one comment read. Unsurprisingly, the hosts of the party soon found themselves in the crosshairs of TikTok backlash. In a since-deleted video responding to the criticism, they insisted they weren't 'mean people.' 'We just didn't want her in our house, OK?' they say. Both online and off, things have gotten messy. Nicole received threatening messages from neighbors, with some suggesting the sheriff should get involved. Her underage son was reportedly doxxed. One viral video even claims the party host lost her job as a result of the drama. What once would've remained small-town gossip, antipasto-gate is now a textbook example of how TikTok's viral discourse cycle works: someone posts a personal grievance, internet vigilantes doxx those involved, and suddenly a local spat becomes the internet's topic of the day. For those caught in the eye of the storm, the best strategy is often to stay quiet and wait for the internet's attention to shift to its next villain. Nicole, meanwhile, has continued sharing updates on her account—including a highly requested tutorial for the antipasto salad.
