Lorraine Kelly shares health update after key hole surgery
The ITV presenter previously shared she would be undergoing a procedure to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes.
The Glasgow-born star, who last year celebrated 40 years in television, said she had not 'been feeling all that well for a little while', which prompted her to seek medical attention.
She reassured fans that she was in good hands and the surgery was taking place for 'purely preventative' reasons.
Following the surgery, Kelly has taken to social media to offer fans a health update.

Sharing on Instagram: 'Thanx for all your lovely messages I'm recovering well.
'So proud of my top team – punching above our weight and bucking the trend. Just heard our ratings are up – we had the highest March for four years.
'Thanks @vixkennedy and the gang! Always know how to cheer me up'.
Friends and followers of Kelly took to her Instagram comments to share well wishes, as author Matt Cain said: 'hope the recovery is going well.'
Star of Strictly Come Dancing, Amy Dowden, said: 'Sending lots of love' and Loose Women presenter Katie Piper said: 'Glad you are home. Rest up.'

Kelly has previously been open about her health, speaking at the Ideal Home Show in March, the ITV presenter discussed her struggles with menopause.
Sharing: 'I was finding it quite a struggle. I was feeling a bit flat and not myself, and I couldn't really understand what was going on.'
On dealing with menopause symptoms on TV she said: 'It's just wonderful having Dr Hillary and Dr Amir [Khan] on tap. He knows everything about everything, I was able to talk to him and get [Hormone Replacement Therapy] patches.'

Ncuti Gatwa shares emotional post after leaving Doctor Who
Gatwa's 15th Doctor regenerated in Saturday's finale (May 31), and regenerated into the returning Billie Piper. In a statement provided by the BBC, the Scottish-Rwandan actor said the "journey has been one that I will never forget". Now, he has shared a social media post thanking co-stars Millie Gibson and Varada Sethu. Taking to Instagram, Gatwa shared a picture of the trio, and said: "Three queens of the sky, "Twas an experience like no other and thank God we were by eachothers side. "There aren't quite the words for how much you both mean to me but I am so grateful I got the opportunity to work, learn from and laugh with you both everyday. After Gatwa's exit, the 15th Doctor is seen regenerating into Billie Piper. She stayed on and was the companion to the 10th Doctor, played by David Tennant. However, despite her introduction on the show, it has not been confirmed she is the 16th Doctor. Harry Moulding, a 24 year old magician from Blackpool, has bagged the grand prize of £250,000 and secured a spot at the Royal Variety Performance. Harry made it to the final of Britain's Got Talent on Saturday night (May 31) after being fast-tracked when guest judge KSI hit the golden buzzer during the semi-finals. But while many were chuffed for the young magician, other fans were gutted for their favourite act who came second. His heart-warming act involved using his magic to assist another man, also named Harry, propose to his girlfriend Jess. Simon Cowell didn't hold back either, highlighting Harry's humility and excellence by saying he was "so good, but so humble," and commended the magician for aiming high in the final.
