Love Island: Emma and Harry's Past Relationship Explained
Following Casa Amor, a total of 12 couples were left in the Love Island villa - including new couple Emma Munro and Conor Phillips.
Of course, Conor isn't Emma's only link to the villa. Upon her arrival, viewers discovered that Emma is actually Harry Cooksley's ex-girlfriend. Yes; the same ex-girlfriend he said he was in love with and has tattooed on him.
So far, everyone has had their eye on Harry - including OG's Shakira Khan and Helena Ford, as well as Casa girl Rheo Parnell.
As for Harry, he's had his eye on, well, everyone.
With the ex's reunited, it initially seemed they were very much bringing their bad blood to Mallorca. Emma revealed that Harry had cheated on her with another woman, before the semi-professional footballer later jibed, 'It's a long way to come to throw dirt on my name.'
However, the tide has since changed. Now, it seems Emma and Harry might be rekindling their complicated romance. After asking Harry to sniff her armpits during one recent clip (hey, whatever floats your boat), Emma was heard saying, 'I don't think anyone has any gauge on how deep our relationship actually was.'
'We're so comfortable,' she added, with Harry replying, 'dangerously.'
Whether these two rekindle their clearly complex romance, only time will tell - but in the meantime, here's everything to know about Harry and Emma's relationship timeline.
If there's one thing we do know, it's that hydrogeologist Emma and semi-pro footballer Harry, both 30, dated for around three to four years. In a since deleted post, Emma shared a selfie of her and Harry cosying up in matching 'H' and 'E' baseball caps. They met in 2021 and things were serious. They met the family, lived together and Harry seemingly got 'E' tattooed on his wrist for Emma. Emma's sister commented 'Cool guy' on a picture of Harry holidaying in Egypt back in 2023. While the couple haven't removed all traces of each other on their socials, they no longer follow each other on Instagram.
Alas, all good things must come to an end, with the couple splitting in 2024. Harry explained ont he show that he'd been single for about a year, but after Emma's arrival she notably referenced a letter he sent her in January this year telling her he'd always be there for her.
Emma was quick to reveal the cause of her split with Harry during her time on Casa Amor. In conversation with her ex, she mentioned that he broke her trust by bringing girls back to their shared home after a night out. Given that Harry has been open about cheating on Emma a week into their relationship, it's no surprise the incident led the pair to breaking point.
'Harry and I had been together for four years, but unfortunately we broke up because he was misbehaving,' Emma explained, later saying to Harry 'The fact of the matter is you've brought girls into our home, and I wouldn't do that to you, because that was the rules, and you think the rules don't apply to you. It's my house, Harry. You think as soon as there's a boundary in place, cross it.'
Of course, there's nothing like Love Island to rekindle a past love. Despite their clearly messy end, Harry and Emma reunited during season 12 of Casa Amor. While they did share a kiss during Raunchy Races, the ex's didn't seem keen on rekindling anything in Casa. Emma coupled up with Conor to re-enter the villa, with Harry sticking with Helena (despite growing very close with Rheo.) During the re-coupling, Harry's treatment of Rheo was something Emma wasn't afraid to bring up - saying her ex didn't like being 'exposed' for who he really is.
Fast-forward to now, and they're having flirty chats and smelling armpits. Who said love doesn't exist?
When Emma entered, fans were initially thrilled to see someone finally putting the footballer back in his place. 'I think I'm going to like Emma, if only because of the look of disgust she makes every time Harry opens his mouth. It's about time someone humbles him,' wrote one on X (formerly Twitter). 'The producers said let's ruin this man's experience and sent in his biggest op. I fear I already have to stan,' laughed another.
Following their flirty chats, fans now have a different view. 'I need Emma to remember she's only here to make Harry look bad,' wrote one viewer, adding, 'Don't go off script, sweetie!'
'No way Emma is trying to get back with Harry after slagging him off the whole time for being a bad boyfriend,' added another.
It's some lore we're more than invested in - and with a few more weeks of villa action left, there could be plenty more of Emma and Harry to see.

Nicola Peltz's latest career move is revealed amid her and Brooklyn Beckham's feud with his family
Nicola Peltz 's latest career move has been revealed amid her husband Brooklyn Beckham 's ongoing feud with his family. The actress, 30, is throwing herself into her work and has joined the cast of a brand new thriller, with Nicola confirming her involvement in an Instagram post. She will take on a starring role in Pretty Ugly, which has been created by Ted Lasso screenwriter Erica Dunton, according to Deadline. Nicola will star alongside Jazzy De Lisser and Mary Stuart Masterson in the drama, which will delve into the appeal of social media beauty. Set in Winnabow, North Carolina, Pretty Ugly follows a woman called Raelynn (Jazzy) as she becomes obsessed with the seductive world of social media. Her mother (Mary) also has her own fixation on grisly true crime podcasts and their relationship begins to unravel when a make-up influencer (Nicola) enters their lives. Things then take a sinister turn as a 'character-driven murder mystery' unfolds, which shows how 'the internet is changing the face' of America, writer Erica claimed. Also starring in the new project are the likes of Michelle Gomez, Andy Buckley, Cullen Moss, Paul Schneider, Edgar de Santiago and Angela Wong Carbon. Nicola's return to the screen comes after she made her directorial debut Lola last year, which was met by a mixed reception from critics and viewers alike. The heiress wrote, directed and starred in the film, which premiered on February 9, 2024, with a limited theatrical and digital release. She played the title character, a teenage girl who works to save up enough money to get her and her younger brother out of the toxic home they share with their mother. She faces a series of traumatic cliches, such as drug abuse, poverty, sex work and teenage pregnancy, but critics blasted the film. They argued it was 'a glorified commercial' for Nicola, and accused the movie of being 'poverty porn', meaning the exploitation of poverty for entertainment and artistic recognition. Nicola has also starred in other projects including Emma Roberts' 2020 festive flick Holidate, Welcome to Chippendales and Bates Motel. Nicola's latest career move comes amid her husband Brooklyn's ongoing feud with his parents and brothers over his relationship with her. Last week, it was revealed that Brooklyn and Nicola's Instagram accounts no longer follow his younger brothers Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 22, in the latest family drama. However, Brooklyn's friends told MailOnline on Friday that Cruz and Romeo have actually blocked them on the social media platform. This would make sense given Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, are still following his parents Victoria, 51, and David, 50. Cruz and Romeo were still following Brooklyn and Nicola earlier this week but appeared to take action after Brooklyn posted a birthday tribute to sister Harper, sharing a family photo without them in it - which Nicola reposted. There was much speculation whether Brooklyn would reach out to Harper on her 14th birthday on Thursday, but despite him doing so, it seems all is not well in the camp. Brooklyn's birthday tribute to Harper marked his first public interaction with his family since he paid tribute to his grandmother Sandra on June 26, despite remaining silent and shunning his father's 50th birthday earlier that same month. Sources close to the family have told MailOnline of their fears that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola have also distanced themselves from Harper after they failed to visit her when they flew into London in May to film an advert for French-Italian clothing brand Moncler just over a mile from the family home in Holland Park. David and Victoria had no idea whether Brooklyn, who Harper has idolised since she was a little girl, would message her privately or publicly on Instagram because they have no communication with him. The news that Cruz and Romeo had blocked their older brother followed Cruz's many pointed digs towards Brooklyn on social media last month. Amid the escalating feud, Romeo stepped in as he shared a very pointed statement about 'appreciating people that love you' and insisted 'life was too short' to not tell people you care about them. Brooklyn and Romeo have been living a somewhat fractious relationship over the last few months following claims Romeo's ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull was the reason behind their rift. Kim addressed the speculation June 16 and insisted she has only ever had a friendship with the eldest Beckham son. Sharing a statement on her Instagram page, she said: 'I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. 'I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative. 'I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. 'Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.' Kim had been at the centre of the row after Nicola claimed that she felt uncomfortable around her, with sources close to the US heiress saying that Kim had dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers - which she then denied. Last month, Romeo and Kim then split after seven months together, with friends saying that the romance 'fizzled out' three weeks after David's 50th birthday. Following their split, friends said things remain 'amicable' between Romeo and Kim, and that their parting is 'nothing to do' with Kim being blamed by Nicola for being the catalyst for the feud that has ripped the Beckham family apart.

Louis Tomlinson slams hurtful comments about Zara McDermott and his late mum - 'It's too much'
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, who is currently dating Zara McDermott, slammed people making comments about his relationship and his family Former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson revealed why he's been absent from X/Twitter as he slammed those prying into his life. The 33-year-old star has been dating Love Island's Zara McDermott for several months, with the two last spotted enjoying the sunshine at Glastonbury Festival. According to a deflated Louis, many have been sharing 'conspiracy' theories about his romance with Zara - who previously dated former Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson for five years. Taking to his X page, he wrote: "The last few months have made it impossible to be on here. " He went on to say there were offensive comments made about his son Freddie, eight, who he shares with ex Brianna Jungwirth. Some also posted opinions about his late mother Johanna Deakin, who died in 2016. "All the conspiracy chat about my relationship, my son or even stretching sometimes to opinions on my Mum," Louis said. "It's just too much and too hurtful for me to see! Thank you to everyone who always has my back!" Before the tweet, he last posted on July 8, writing: "So excited to be back on stage tomorrow. Feels like a while! Who's coming?!!" His most recent Instagram post was a slew of snaps from his time at Worthy Farm with pals and Zara. Loyal fans rushed to the comment section to share their support for him. One concerned user said: "There are way too many that support you no matter what; please believe that there are amazing fans always here for you!" "Your true fans will always have your back. The ones that respect you for you, your talent, and let you live a life. "Those people are the ones you should be thankful for," another fan commented. One fan added: "So so proud of you, tell them haters Louis!!!" Louis previously discussed his annoyance over theories made about him. A famous one claimed Louis and 1D star Harry Styles enjoyed a romantic relationship. He tweeted in 2012: "Larry is the biggest load of bulls*** I've ever heard. I'm happy, why can't you accept that.' In 2024, he brought up the theory again and said: "What's tough is, I realised this some years ago, there is nothing I can say. There is nothing I can do to dispel the believers of that conspiracy. "It does irritate me a little bit, you know? But it is just kind of the nature of the job, I suppose.'

John presents the show alongside his wife, actress and Celebrity MasterChef winner Lisa Faulkner. One person commented underneath the post: "Used to love this .... sadly John was so rude when I saw him .... very sad." John replied: "I am really sorry. Never meant to be rude. Please accept my apologies." A fellow commenter came to John's defence, writing: "I met him once in a cruise terminal, and he was utterly charming." While another said: "As a professional, he gets very wrapped up in his work. "His frowny, serious face is when he's concentrating deeply. He is actually a good laugh and very polite." It comes as a report upheld 45 of 83 allegations of bad behaviour against his co-host Gregg Wallace, who was axed last week. The dossier also upheld a complaint that an unnamed person used a racial phrase once several years ago. John confirmed to The Sun it referred to him, but said: 'I have absolutely no recollection of this, and I do not believe that it happened.' Masterchef meltdown as BBC asked John Torode to RESIGN over 'racist remark' before Gregg Wallace sacking He also shared in a statement: 'Following publication of the Executive Summary of the Investigation into Gregg Wallace while working on MasterChef, I am aware of speculation that I am one of the two other individuals against whom an allegation has been upheld. 'For the sake of transparency I confirm that I am the individual who is alleged to have used racial language on one occasion. 'The allegation is that I did so sometime between 2018 or 2019, in a social situation, and that the person I was speaking with did not believe that it was intended in a malicious way and that I apologised immediately afterwards. 'I have absolutely no recollection of any of this, and I do not believe that it happened. Gregg Wallace - MasterChef scandal in Brief GREGG Wallace has stepped down from his MasterChef hosting role after a probe into alleged inappropriate behaviour. But what's the situation? Regular MasterChef host Gregg Wallace is currently the subject of a probe after an investigation was launched into his alleged misconduct over a number of years. Gregg has been accused of making sexual remarks to 13 colleagues including Beeb anchor Kirsty Wark - accusations he denies. The 60-year-old has now stepped away from the BBC show while historical misconduct allegations against him are investigated. Yet the former greengrocer spoke out on social media to blast the "women of a certain age" who he claimed were behind the allegations. The cooking show's production company, Banijay UK, has said law firm Lewis Silkin would lead the investigation into Wallace's alleged misconduct. 'However, I want to be clear that I've always had the view that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. 'I'm shocked and saddened by the allegation as I would never wish to cause anyone any offence.' Last night a source close to the chef added: 'John is absolutely devastated to have been pulled into this mess. 'John absolutely loves MasterChef, and doesn't want to lose his job because of an investigation into his co-star."
