San Diego Padres fans in vicious brawl with brutal punches thrown in the stands during MLB game
Several San Diego Padres fans got into a wild brawl in the right field bleachers at Petco Park on Saturday night during the team's 5-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Padres played one of their worst games of the year in front of the home crowd, only amassing two hits against one of the worst teams in baseball.
Those in the crowd gave those in San Diego home entertainment, although it is unclear the men involved in the melee started talking.
The first punch is thrown by a fan in a white Fernando Tatis Jr. jersey, sending a fan back in a gray shirt.
That sparked the choas with a Padres fan in a brown Manny Machado jersey punching a fourth fan, who gets taken off his feet.
The fans in the white and brown jerseys come together, with the San Diego supporter in the white getting the best of the exchange with a right-hand blow.
The white-clad fan also lands another punch on the man in gray before re-engaging with the fan in brown.
The men square off for several more seconds before they are separated. They continue to yell at each other for around a half-minute before the video cuts off.
Stadium security and police are not seen in the video, with other patrons at the game being the one to break up the melee.
It does not appear any of the fans suffered major injuries or bled during the chaos despite several haymakers being thrown.
San Diego baseball fans hoping for a turnaround on the field got their wish on Sunday with a 6-4 win over Pittsburgh.

Potential ‘agroterrorism weapon' fungus smuggled into US by Chinese scientists, FBI alleges
Two Chinese scientists have been charged with smuggling a toxic fungus into the United States that they planned to research at an American university, the justice department has said. Yunqing Jian, 33, and Zunyong Liu, 34, are charged with conspiracy, smuggling, false statements, and visa fraud, the US attorney's office for the eastern district of Michigan said in a statement on Tuesday. The justice department said the pair conspired to smuggle a fungus called Fusarium graminearum into the United States that causes 'head blight,' a disease of wheat, barley, maize, and rice. The fungus is classified in scientific literature as a 'potential agroterrorism weapon,' the FBI said, and causes billions of dollars in losses each year. It causes vomiting, liver damage, and reproductive defects in humans and livestock, it said. Jian appeared in court and was returned to jail to await a bond hearing on Thursday. An attorney who was assigned only for her initial appearance declined to comment. In July 2024, Liu was turned away at the Detroit airport and sent back to China after changing his story during an interrogation about red plant material discovered in his backpack, the FBI said. He initially claimed ignorance about the samples but later said he was planning to use the material for research at a University of Michigan lab where Jian worked and where Liu had previously worked, the FBI said. According to the complaint, Jian and Liu, her boyfriend, had both previously conducted work on the fungus in China. The FBI said authorities found a scientific article on Liu's phone that was titled, 'Plant-Pathogen Warfare under Changing Climate Conditions.' Messages between the two in 2024 suggest that Jian was already tending to Fusarium graminearum at the campus lab before Liu was caught at the Detroit airport, the FBI said. The university does not have federal permits to handle it. The US does not have an extradition treaty with China, which makes Liu's arrest unlikely unless he returns. US Attorney Jerome Gorgon Jr described the smuggling of the fungus into the United States as a 'national security' concern and emphasized Jian's membership of the Chinese Communist party. 'These two aliens have been charged with smuggling a fungus that has been described as a 'potential agroterrorism weapon' into the heartland of America, where they apparently intended to use a University of Michigan laboratory to further their scheme,' Gorgon said. US secretary of state Marco Rubio vowed last week to 'aggressively revoke visas' for Chinese students, a move condemned by Beijing as 'unreasonable' and 'discriminatory.' The move is part of a wider crackdown on immigration by the Trump administration. The US has also said it will refuse visas to foreign officials who block Americans' social media posts and has rescinded visas for people who criticize Israel. Meanwhile, Kseniia Petrova, a scientist from Russia at Harvard, is facing potential deportation after she failed to declare biological samples in her luggage upon returning from a trip to Paris. Bodies of three missing sisters found as police swoop on campsite in search of their 'murderer' father Travis Decker
The three missing sisters who vanished after a three-hour visit with their father have been found dead in Washington after days of frantic searching by authorities. Paityn, nine, Evelyn, eight, and Olivia Decker, five, were found deceased on Monday evening, prompting state police to call off the Endangered Missing Person Alert (EMPA). Police had swarmed around Rock Island Campground, blocking traffic and sending drivers in the other direction after they found their father's truck around 3:45pm on Monday. Their 'mentally unstable' father Travis Decker - who they were last seen with - is at large and police are looking for him. The father-of-three has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping. Police said the veteran could 'pose a significant risk if approached' as he has extensive combat training. It is unclear if he is armed. Decker, 32, does not have permanent housing and is known to stay at hotels and campgrounds, police said. His ex-wife, the girls' mother, had been particularly worried because he has 'really struggled since he left the military.' 'His mental health can be hard sometimes,' she told KIRO 7. The Wenatchee Police Department offered their 'sincere and deep heartfelt condolences,' to the family. Authorities found Decker's truck around 3:45pm near Rock Island Campground. While searching the area, the girls' bodies were found, but Decker was nowhere to be seen. A SWAT team was called to the campground around 5pm yesterday and the area was shut down between 7pm and 9pm. Travis Decker is described as 5'8" and 190 pounds, with black hair worn in a ponytail and brown eyes. The girls were last seen alive at their mother's house, where Decker picked them up for a scheduled three-hour visit. The visitation was part of their parenting plan, but an alarm was raised after Decker didn't return with the girls on Friday. The girls' mother, Whitney, reported the girls missing at 9:45pm on Friday and police began working to determine where the father and the children were. The Washington State Patrol was contacted about issuing an AMBER Alert, but none was given as it did not meet criteria, Wenatchee Police Department said. The Endangered and Missing Persons Alert (EMPA) was issued on Saturday after 'additional information' was provided, the police department said. Law enforcement is asking the public for help in finding Decker, but advised locals not to approach him. A GoFundMe was started for the mother-of-three, raising $30,000 in less than a day. 'These girls were true light in this world and and it is a darker place without them. I will miss seeing their sweet little faces,' the fundraiser read. 'Send Whitney all of your prayers, love and support. Take some time to today to tell someone you love them.'
