Doctor Who fans will recognise guest star Ariyon Bakare from other major shows
Doctor Who is set to welcome a new guest star in the form of Ariyon Bakare, who has previously appeared in a number of popular shows.

Doctor Who is in full swing, with actor Ariyon Bakare set to join the cast in episode five, The Story and the Engine.
Doctor Who has been a cornerstone of BBC programming since its original launch in the 1960s, and its revival in 2005 with Christopher Eccleston at the helm.
Fast forward two decades, and Ncuti Gatwa has taken up the mantle as the 15th Time Lord, ready to embark on his latest adventure this evening, Saturday, May 10.
In this episode, the Doctor finds himself in Lagos, where he encounters a "mysterious figure called the Barber" who holds sway over the Nigerian city.
The character of the Barber will be brought to life by actor Ariyon Bakare, a familiar face from several popular shows.
Bakare, 53, is perhaps most recognised for his role as Dr Ben Kwarme in the BBC medical drama Doctors, a part he played for four years before leaving the show in 2005.
Before his departure, his character Ben had assaulted a burglar, who subsequently pressed charges for grievous bodily harm.
Ben was ultimately acquitted, prompting him to leave Letherbridge and embark on travels with his son Nathan.
However, Doctors isn't the only series that Doctor Who fans might recognise Bakare from.
Bakare has an impressive array of roles under his belt, including his turn as Adrian Scott in Family Affairs, taking the helm as Chief Superintendent Burridge in Thirteen, embodying Ligur alongside former Doctor Who lead David Tennant in Good Omens, and stepping into the fantastical world as Carlo Boreal in BBC's His Dark Materials.
His diverse acting resume extends to Netflix's Too Close, alongside on-screen appearances in Crossfire, Karen Pirie, Carnival Row, Black Ops, and sharing the screen with Fear the Walking Dead star Lennie James in BBC's Mr Loverman.
A peep at his IMDb profile reveals Bakare's next big project: the action-packed drama The Bleeding Ground. The tantalising preview states: "In the heart of the Niger Delta, a local man's quest for justice collides with the ambitions of an oil executive, igniting a battle that threatens to consume them both."

EastEnders' Shane Ritchie's bid for David Jason to join soap
Appearing on The One Show, Ritchie, 61, who plays Alfie Moon in the BBC soap, spoke about EastEnders' award-winning streak at the British Soap Awards last week. The cast were presented the award for Best Soap by none other than Only Fools and Horses legend Sir David Jason – and it would appear that Ritchie would love to get him to become a Walford resident. Speaking on The One Show last night (June 11), Ritchie told hosts Alex Jones and Angellica Bell that he is 'trying' to get David Jason involved. "Well, we got presented the award by David Jason, and now this is between us," Richie joked with fellow guest, Marvel star Jeremy Renner, and the hosts. "Davis Jason, big famous actor, say nothing, I'm trying to get him into EastEnders," Richie continued. He jokingly turned to the camera and said: "Turn over, watch something else, you don't want to see this," before adding: "I'm trying to get him into it." When Bell asked him whether he had spoken to Jason about it, Richie said: "I don't know yet! I might take him out for a beer." It appears that Shane Ritchie would not be the only one who would love to see Sir David on the Square. Fans were delighted that the 85-year-old presented the soap award to the EastEnders cast, taking to social media to sing his praises. Grange Hill ran for three decades and launched the careers of many child actors, while others have struggled to cope with the fame and fortune that came with it Grange Hill, the groundbreaking BBC drama that first aired in 1978, was a school where detention wasn't just a threat and important social issues were brought to light. The show offered a realistic and honest look at the lives of secondary school pupils, tackling everything from racism and bullying to drug addiction and teenage pregnancy. The programme ran for three decades, amassing a vast alumni of child actors, many of whom became household names. However, not all of them stayed in the limelight; some faded from view or faced difficult personal battles. Let's take a look at where some of the most memorable stars are now: Lee MacDonald (Zammo McGuire) Zammo's harrowing heroin addiction storyline in the mid-1980s became one of the most talked-about plots in British television history. Played by Lee MacDonald, Zammo was a bright student whose descent into addiction shocked viewers and sparked a nationwide campaign: the now-iconic Just Say No anti-drugs initiative, supported by Nancy Reagan herself, reports the Daily Record.
