The Chase hit by ‘fix' claims as chaser Jenny Ryan wins after controversial answer
The popular ITV quiz format recently aired a repeated episode of the programme in which many viewers claim that a wrong answer was accepted as correct - and ultimately caused the team to lose against The Vixen.

In the episode, hosted as always by Bradley Walsh, Jenny was taking on the day's remaining players in the Final Chase round.
Nick from Liverpool, Laura from Bolton, Aiden from Falkirk, and Vivienne from Bracknell, were all hoping to prove successful and show that they had better brains than flame-haired Jenny.
As the episode neared its end, only Laura and Nick managed to make it through as they played for a rather small final amount of £3,000.
They correctly got 14 answers before Jenny did her best to try and better them.
But as her round of questions got underway, one of them became a talking point online.
Bradley asked Jenny: 'What colour indicates semi-skimmed milk on bottles?'
It took Jenny a few seconds to give an answer as it became clear that she was not overly confident on the question.
Having paused for a few moments, she then replied to Bradley, saying: "It's red and silver."
Bradley immediately told her that he would "accept" her answer but it instantly sparked furore online.
Many were quick to argue that semi-skimmed milk featured a green top and that Jenny's answer was incorrect and should have been voided.

Reacting in shock online, one fan penned: 'Excuse me? Semi-skimmed is GREEN!'
Another also echoed the sentiment as they wrote: 'Incorrect answer from #TheVixen given as correct? They were one correct answer away from winning!'
A third went on to write: 'Semi-skimmed milk carton tops are Green (or white), NOT RED, which is skimmed milk... What is going on here?'
Before someone else stated: 'Am I going mad? I'm sure the question was about the colour of tops on semi-skimmed milk.
"The Chaser said red and silver... it's green. Or did I mishear?'
Jenny's answer was not wholly incorrect as it appeared that she was referring to traditional glass bottles often delivered by milkmen.
Glass bottled semi-skimmed milk has traditionally featured a red and silver top.
However, when bought from supermarkets in a carton, which is the more widely accessible option, the bottle lid is in fact green.
It is likely that Jenny took the question literally to make sure she referred to a "bottle" as opposed to a carton in order to ensure a correct answer was given.

Bradley Walsh can't stop laughing
Every time host Bradley Walsh erupts into fits of laughter on The Chase it makes for pretty entertaining TV. One particularly memorable occasion was when he was asking the question 'The title of which Elvis Presley song was engraved of the inside of Freddie Star's coffin?" As usual the contestant was given four multiple choices but Bradley could get through reading them out before bursting into hysterics. Seeming the idea of the song being option 'B: Way Down' was too much for the presenter to handle.
The Double Trouble special
To celebrate 15 years of The Chase on screens, ITV launched a special 'double trouble' episode where contestants faced off against not one but two of the show's beloved Chasers. And despite the odds, the contestants managed to go home with some cash!
The contestants with famous names
Eagle-eyed ITV fans are always quick to spot interesting and sometimes hidden details on the quiz show - but there have been a few times where the names of some contestants have been overtly obvious. For example, one 2017 episode of the quiz show saw Bradley welcome four contestants who were named after Friends characters Ross, Rachel, Phoebe and Joey. Another group of contestants with named from The Simpsons were also grouped together in another episode, much to viewers' amusement.
The Beast's anger gets the best of him
During an episode from the 2024 season, Mark Labbett let out his inner beast as he exploded in a fit of anger. Close to losing the competition in the Final Chase, Mark then made a silly mistake and incorrectly answered the question, 'Rabbit was a 1980 hit for which Cockney duo?' 'Oh, you idiot!' he yelled at himself while slamming the table in front of him. With seconds left on the clock, the Chaser then admitted defeat, moaning "I don't deserve to win."

THE historic Great Yarmouth Pier is in the midst of a makeover. Comedy acts including Jimmy Carr, top tribute acts including Abba, Whitney Houston, Queen and Elvis will be hitting the pier. Sky Sports ‘bring back iconic football show that ran for 20 years' after it was axed in 2020
SKY SPORTS are set to bring a hugely popular format back to fans' screens, according to reports. The broadcasting giant are reportedly planning on bringing back a Sunday media review show - similar to previous fan favourite show Sunday Supplement. 1 Sunday Supplement, which ran for 20 years, was axed by Sky Sports back in 2020. But, according to the Mail Online, the company has now decided to resurrect the format, but won't be bringing the name back to life with it. Sunday Supplement saw industry insiders and journalists talk through the weekend's drama and chat about the major stories set for the papers too. Despite its disappearance off screens five years ago, Sky still gave fans a taste of the show in podcast form in the years since. It's claimed that Sky Sports are expected to make an announcement in the coming weeks. SunSport have approached Sky for comment. Sunday Supplement first formed part of Sky's offering in 1999 under the name of Hold The Back Page. The show was first hosted by former Match of the Day host Jimmy Hill, while other hosts over the years included Brian Woolnough and Neil Ashton. And high-profile panelists involved in show included the likes of Henry Winter and Oliver Holt. Sky pointed to the congested football calendar following Covid-19 as one of the reasons they chose to take Sunday Supplement off air.

I stayed in the UK's coolest hotel room – with racing simulators, a cocktail bar AND you can take the dressing gown home
IT'S the ultimate overnight stay for Formula 1 fans - from carbon-fibre wrapped furniture, original McLaren memorabilia and racing simulators to a bar with a private happy hour. I was the first person in the world to stay at the lavish suite at The Trafalgar St James in London's Trafalgar Square - created to celebrate 20-year partnership between Hilton and McLaren Racing. 12 Ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend, petrol-heads can take the ultimate pitstop until July 20 with the two-room suite setting fans back £1,800 for the night. But with all the amazing extras included in the price I think it's actually worth every penny. The experience starts with a VIP welcome at the hotel where a luggage trolley with Jensen Button's racing helmet in the lobby sets the scene for the racing stay and you're handed a plush folder decked out in McLaren colours containing your room key and detailing all the extra special features of your stay. Then it's up to the first floor suite - dubbed room 20 to celebrate the partnership - and beyond the first door, lifesize photos of the 2025 McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri line the hallway walls. The first door opens up into a vast 51-square-metre luxury suite with carbon-fibre wrapped furniture and a vast sofa and coffee table in the McLaren signature Papaya Orange colour. Sitting alongside it is yet more McLaren memorabilia including the racing helmets of former drivers Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen as well as a vast flat-screen TV, ready to show the highlights of the latest Austrian Grand Prix. But before you get settled into those racing seats, Hilton treats guests to their own personalised private happy hour with signature cocktails and snacks. Last Lap Lemonade featured Jack Daniel's, mandarin liqueur and ginger beer; Formula Jack combined more whiskey with fresh lemon juice, muddled blackberries and basil. But my favourite was the Podium Spritz with raspberry-infused Grey Goose vodka, Limoncello and prosecco. You'll have an hour to enjoy as many cocktails as you please - but the potent concoctions definitely didn't improve my driving skills! 12 12 12 While not included in the suite price, the Trafalgar St James' has two great restaurants for refuelling between laps. The Rockwell in the lobby features a tapas-style menu with reasonable prices for its central London location, dishes start from just £9. Right now there's a couple of McLaren-inspired specials including two chosen by the drivers. Lando's choice is a grilled chicken slider with slaw, avocado and sriracha mayo complete with sweet potato wedges and Oscar has gone from fillet steak with chimichurri, wild crispy rice and charred sweetcorn. And for a nightcap before we retired for a night of racing fun, the rooftop bar and restaurant offers unbeatable views of the London skyline including Big Ben to the London Eye. 12 12 After an incredible night's sleep alongside my racing heroes, there was one more amazing treat - signature smoothies based on the drivers' favourites alongside McLaren-branded Nutribullet blender you are also welcome to take home with you. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy more racing fun with a midday check out but tearing myself away from the intoxicating mix of hotel luxury and racing fun was no easy feat. The suite is the latest in Hilton's 'Stay Like' specials, inviting guests to relax like their favourite stars in immersive suites. Previous suites have included Stay Like Wicked at the New York Hilton Midtown adn the Stay Like An Infinite Icon at the Beverly Hilton in LA. While the suite is only at The Trafalgar St James' until July 20, rumours have it the F1 suite could pop up at other Hilton hotels across the globe. Also, Monaco Grand Prix' most expensive hotel room costs £69,000 and is filled with Ayrton Senna memorabilia. Plus, inside the unique Hilton hotel rooms overlooking the F1 grid at Silverstone and they only cost £108.
