Watch: GT Pacer Mohammed Siraj Sledges Nicholas Pooran, LSG Star's Reaction Leaves Crowd Buzzing
Siraj bowled two bouncers to Pooran. The first one was called a wide by the umpire while the second one was a dot ball. Siraj tried to poke Pooran through his words but the LSG southpaw didn't react to it and rather made his bat to the talk. As Siraj went up to Pooran and tried to sledge him, the batter just focussed on chewing his gum and walked towards the non-striker's end to have a chat with Marsh.
Pooran then slammed Siraj for a stuning six over the cow corner and then smashed a four down the ground. After completing the shot for the last boundary, Pooran gave a flying kiss with his bat in the direction of Siraj.

Marsh scored 117 runs in 64 balls with the help of 10 fours and 8 sixes. Meanwhile, Pooran too played a fiery knock, smashing 56 not out in 27 balls. His innings was laced with 4 fours and 5 sixes. Aiden Markram's 36 off 24 also helped the team's cause.
The Gujarat Titans bowlers had an off day on the field as all of them were expensive. While Arshad Khan and R Sai Kishore claimed a wicket each, rest of the GT bowlers only got the thrashing of LSG batters.

‘Have watched that back too many times': Shoaib Bashir on dramatic Mohammed Siraj wicket to end Lord's Test
Shoaib Bashir has said that his dismissal of Mohammed Siraj late on the final day of the epic Lord's Test between India and England ranks right up there with his debut wicket for him. Bashir incredibly bowled despite having a broken finger and managed to get Siraj to play on to his own stumps, despite the latter having middled the ball in his attempt to defend off his body. 'It comes second after my debut wicket. That was incredible. In front of a packed house at Lord's at the home of cricket, doesn't get much better than that,' said Bashir on BBC during The Hundred. When asked if he has rewatched that moment a few times, Bashir said: 'Plenty, too many times.' England won the Test by 22 runs but the margin would've been much larger had it not been for Ravindra Jadeja powering a sensational revival from India after they were 82/7 chasing a target of 193. Jadeja anchored the tail for just over 50 overs and remained unbeaten on 61 off 181 balls. Siraj and Jadeja had held on in the last-wicket stand for 80 balls and scored 23 runs. Bashir had said earlier that he couldn't really see the bail falling off. The ball had trickled to the base of the stumps off the face of Siraj's bat. It was Bashir's last match of the series with the bowler missing the next 2 Tests due to the injury that he bowled with at Lord's. He later underwent surgery, with two pins inserted in his finger as he's still awaiting clearance five weeks on. He also talked about how he batted through he pain at Lord's and added 2 runs in 9 balls in a 7-run partnership with Jofra Archer. Bashir had sustained the injury off a delivery from Jasprit Bumrah. 'It (the injury) happened, I came off the field and went for a scan,' he recalled. 'I knew it was pretty bad at that point, but I had plenty of pain-killers. There was no real conversation about me batting. My first ball from (Jasprit) Bumrah was a bouncer and the next ball a yorker, and it was one of those where the vibrations went right up through your hands. But I was always going to bat, even if it was only to add five-to-ten runs. In the grand scheme of things, they might matter,' he said.

Asia Cup squad: 'His case needs to be discussed' - Ex-India cricketer slams Harshit Rana's selection
NEW DELHI: The announcement of India's Asia Cup squad on Tuesday has ignited intense debate, with Ajit Agarkar and his panel facing scrutiny over the omission of proven performers like Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now One of the most polarising decisions has been the inclusion of Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Harshit Rana. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. Former India opener Aakash Chopra has questioned the logic behind Rana's selection, arguing that his record does not justify a place in the 15-member squad. Poll Do you agree with the inclusion of Harshit Rana in the Asia Cup squad? Yes, he deserves a spot No, there are better options 'Harshit Rana's case is very interesting. His case needs to be discussed because he came as a concussion replacement for Shivam Dube once, picked up three wickets as well, and became the Player of the Match, which was brilliant, but what about before and after that?' Chopra asked on his YouTube channel. Rana's IPL 2025 season was underwhelming, with 15 wickets at an economy rate of 10.18. Beyond that single standout international performance against England, Chopra felt the numbers painted a less convincing picture. India Asia Cup squad: Why Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill are biggest talking points 'The last IPL was extremely ordinary. His performances have not been very good. His numbers are not flattering. It doesn't seem like his numbers are strong enough to deserve a place in the side,' he said. Chopra also downplayed Rana's chances of featuring prominently in the tournament. 'The truth is also that he won't get to play all matches. In fact, he might get to play even one match when Bumrah isn't available. If he isn't getting a chance to play, you say that whoever is sitting out doesn't make a difference.' The former batter argued that Krishna, who won the IPL 2025 Purple Cap, and Siraj, with his recent form in England, were more deserving candidates. 'You will find that Prasidh Krishna should have got a chance, or you could have thought about rewarding Mohammed Siraj, but the team has once again gone towards Harshit,' he concluded.
