Weak Hero Class 2 release date and time in India: When will Park Ji Hoon's action-packed K-drama release on Netflix?
In recent years, Netflix has upped their game when it comes to delivering quality K-content, producing originals like The Trunk, Karma, Melo Movie, and the fan-favourite When Life Gives You Tangerines. The streamer is now all set to take it a notch higher with the release of Weak Hero Class 2. While Netflix initially didn't have the rights to the action thriller, the first part was originally released on Korea's homegrown streaming service, Wavve, and the second part has been produced exclusively by the streamer. The first chapter in the series also premiered on Netflix on March 25, just a month ahead of the new part's release.
Meet the cast of Weak Hero Class 2: real names, plot details & new teaser inside
The series follows Yeon Si Eun, a brilliant student at Byuksan High School, who unknowingly becomes a target of the bullies. Despite his weak physical features, Si Eun protects himself with his sharp reflexes, making use of his knowledge of physics.
As he refuses to submit to bullies, things get intense and darker, and Si Eun gets entangled in a dangerous world where lives just cost a few bucks. However, in his pursuit of justice, he finds support in his classmates Ahn Soo Ho (Choi Hyun Wook) and Oh Beom Seok (Hong Kyung). However, their friendship does not stand the test of time, as Beom Seok soon turns against Soo Ho and, willingly or unwillingly, also ends up dragging Si Eun into what he sees as revenge.
The first part ends with Soo Ho ending up in a coma as he takes on the bullies after learning about Beom Seok setting up a trap for him, which Si Eun hides from him and takes the hit in his stead.
The teaser for Weak Hero Class 2 picks up things from the heartbreaking finale of season 1, which saw Soo Ho still in a coma while Si Eun was forced to transfer schools and Beom Seok prepared to leave the country.
Si Eun is now in Eunjang High, but it has darker forces than his previous schools, including those connected to the underworld. This prompts Si Eun to once again don his weak hero role—will he manage to pull himself together and put up a new fight? Only the new chapter will tell.
Weak Hero Class 2 preview
The preview starts with a school bully, played by Yoo Su Bin, lashing out in the name of a student, Seo Jun Tae (played by Choi Min Young of XO, Kitty fame). As Jun Tae gets mercilessly beaten, Si Eun first watches in silence, but suddenly his past comes haunting as it reminds him of the bullying he, Soo Ho, and Beom Seok faced. He then interrupts the bully, telling him, "You're too loud," and asking him to "not cross the line"—and voluntarily getting involved in this new chapter despite the consequences of his past.
Weak Hero Class 2 release time in India: When will the new season drop on Netflix?
How many episodes will there be in Weak Hero Class 2?
In line with part 1, the second installment is presumed to have eight episodes. It's expected that all episodes will drop together; however, nothing has been confirmed.

Pierce Brosnan willing to return to James Bond "in a heartbeat"; deets inside
Pierce Brosnan willing to return to James Bond "in a heartbeat"; deets inside Actor Pierce Brosnan , who famously portrayed James Bond in four films between 1995 and 2002, has expressed his willingness to return to the iconic spy franchise, even joking about playing a senior citizen version of 007. In a recent interview, Brosnan shared that he would consider reprising the role if an opportunity came along, especially under the direction of Denis Villeneuve . "I don't think anyone wants to see a craggy, 72-year-old Bond, but if Villeneuve had something up his sleeve, I would look at it in a heartbeat. Why not? It's great entertainment. It could be lots of laughs. Bald caps, prosthetics... who knows?" he said, as quoted by Variety. The actor also revealed that both he and his wife are looking forward to seeing who will be cast as the next James Bond. "I have been listening to the drumbeat of expectation of who's going to be the next James Bond. There are many great candidates out there, and I'm sure they're going to make it a spectacle of delight," he said. Brosnan starred as 007 in 'GoldenEye,' 'Tomorrow Never Dies,' 'The World is Not Enough,' and 'Die Another Day' before he decided to hang up the tuxedo. The actor is gearing up for the upcoming film, 'The Thursday Murder Club,' the Netflix adaptation of Richard Osman's novels about a group of pensioners who solve crimes together. His co-star, Helen Mirren, also hopped on the Bond conversation and stated that it "has to be a guy. James Bond has to be James Bond, otherwise it becomes something else," as quoted by Deadline. Earlier this year, Brosnan also emphasised that the next Bond should be British. Meanwhile, numerous names have been circulating as potential candidates to be cast as the next 007 after Daniel Craig stepped down in 2021. The likes of Tom Holland , Jacob Elordi, and Harris Dickinson are said to be among the top choices. Set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film is currently in development.
