Taraji P. Henson turned heads in a pair of pointed toe pumps while walking down the 2025 Met Gala red carpet on Monday night.
Known for her love of pumps, the 'Empire' actress went for a sleek pair in a gold colorway. The pumps Henson goes for are specifically characterized by a closed-back design and a pronounced upper. Crafted with leather, the silhouette also featured a slender heel that clocked in at roughly 4 inches. Styled by Wayman and Micah, she wore an off-white custom Monse x Post-Imperial dress that consisted of a cropped blazer overtop a minidress.

Henson wasn't the only one who opted for pumps for fashion's biggest night. Singer and entrepreneur Ciara was also spotted wearing a pair of pointed-toe pumps that were from Christian Louboutin, as she walked the red carpet with husband Russell Wilson. A year-round seasonal staple, the silhouette also included a closed-back design that secured her feet in place as she walked alongside with her husband. Rounding out the footwear was a razor sharp stiletto heel estimated to be around 5 inches in height.

Coco Jones was another one who opted for pumps, with the 'ICU' singer and actress wearing a pair of sleek white pointed-toe pumps that featured sharp, angular pointed toes accompanied by equally sharp stiletto heels standing around 5 inches in height. The shoes featured a simple, minimalist design that didn't take away from her attention-commanding outfit.
The 2025 Met Gala is being held tonight in New York. The theme, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' celebrates all things African American styles and culture. This year's co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams, along with Vogue's Editor In Chief Anna Wintour.

Jordan Chiles 'finally' feels good about her skin
Jordan Chiles has taken 22 years to "embrace" her complexion. The 24-year-old gymnast has suffered from acne in the past but she feels a lot more positive about her skin these days. She told Refinery29: 'I have [acne] scars here and there, but now I'm finally at a point where I'm positive with myself and my skin. 'Literally, it took me 22 years to finally be like, look, Jordan, you're a gorgeous girl. You have beautiful skin. Embrace that.' The Olympian tries to keep her routine simple when it comes to looking after her sensitive skin. She said: 'A majority of the time, I only use a good cleanser, an exfoliator, and then a nice, silky moisturiser. 'I keep it very simple, but make sure everything is hydrated and my skin looks good and glowy.' Jordan is the new face of Hero Cosmetics and she's a huge fan of their Mighty Patch hydrocolloid stickers. She said: 'People always ask me, 'What do you do for your skincare?' So I was really happy Hero wanted me to be one of their ambassadors. Whether it's dark spots or a pimple that's coming up and I want it gone, I've always loved Mighty Patch... "I have Mighty Patches in every bag, my car, my room, and probably in five different bathrooms." Asked her favourites, she replied: 'Literally all of them, but since I go to practice a lot, [I love] the invisible ones and the dark spot ones with the prickly points.' And Jordan also loves Hero's Pore Purity Cleansing Clay Mask, which features sea clay and sea kelp bio-ferment to decongest skin. She said: 'It makes my face so soft — I love it. I've been recently using it two to three times a week to get my pores in the right way and all that stuff.' When she is competing, Jordan hasn't been afraid to be "glam" with nail art and fluttery lashes firm features of her look. She said: 'My older sister, who is my hair and makeup artist, definitely gave me a perspective of understanding that glam is something to enjoy, have fun with, and be creative."

Sir Rod Stewart cancels US concerts amid recovery from flu
Sir Rod Stewart has cancelled a string of concerts in the US as he recovers from flu, ahead of his set at Glastonbury later this month. Sir Rod is due to play the coveted tea-time legends slot at the Somerset festival on Sunday June 29. He took to Instagram to announce that he was 'devastated' to have to cancel or reschedule the six US shows, due to take place in the next eight days. 'I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,' he wrote. 'So sorry my friends. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sir Rod Stewart (@sirrodstewart) 'I'm devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon.' He signed off 'Sir Rod' along with the heartbreak emoji. He also listed the four shows he was cancelling – in Las Vegas and Stateline, Nevada – as well as two he plans to reschedule – in California. The 80-year-old musician recently announced he will reunite with his former Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood for his much-anticipated set at Glastonbury. He told That Peter Crouch Podcast he was only due to play for an hour and a quarter on the Pyramid Stage. 'But I've asked them 'Please, another 15 minutes' because I play for over two hours every night and it's nothing,' he said. In 2024, he promised he would not retire but confirmed his 2025 European and North American shows would bring an end to his 'large-scale world tours', with his next slate to be held at more intimate venues. Sir Rod's best known solo songs include Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?, Every Beat Of My Heart, and Maggie May. Last month he was presented with a prestigious lifetime achievement award by five of his children at the American Music Awards (AMAs).
