Injuries have hit the Indianapolis Colts' secondary hard during training camp at Grand Park. JuJu Brents and Jaylon Jones remain out with hamstring injuries, Nick Cross is sidelined with a hip flexor, and rookie Justin Walley is lost for the season with a torn ACL.
But there's finally some good news — star nickel corner Kenny Moore II appears to have avoided a serious knee injury.

II update
According to ESPN's Stephen Holder, details surrounding Moore II's knee injury suffered in Sunday night's practice remain limited, but early signs indicate it's not season-threatening. While there's no official timetable for his return, the initial outlook offers much-needed relief for a Colts defense already stretched thin.
Losing Moore II would have been a major blow. Since arriving in Indianapolis in 2017, the 29-year-old has been a cornerstone of the secondary, starting 104 games across four different defensive coordinators. His consistency, versatility, and leadership from the slot have made him one of the NFL's most dependable nickel cornerbacks.
Why Kenny Moore II's health could define Colts' defensive success in 2025
In the Colts' defensive scheme, Moore II's role goes beyond covering receivers, he's key in blitz packages, run support, and disguising coverage.
Without him, the Colts' defense would lose a dynamic piece that opposing offenses have to game-plan for. With several young defensive backs already sidelined, his absence would have left Indy scrambling to fill a crucial position with limited depth.
The 2025 season was already shaping up to bring change to the Colts' secondary, with a new scheme and fresh faces competing for roles. Moore II stood as the constant, offering stability amid transition.
His potential return in time for Week 1 would restore balance and veteran presence to a group in desperate need of both.
For head coach Shane Steichen and defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, keeping Moore II healthy could be the difference between a competitive defensive unit and one struggling to contain high-powered AFC offenses. While the team will continue to monitor his recovery closely, the early news is encouraging and for a Colts defense battered by injuries, that's a much-needed win in August.

Is Taylor Swift a Carolina Panthers fan? Her $22K viral snake necklace has NFL fans talking – Here's the real story

Taylor Swift's $22K necklace goes viral in NFL circles. The Carolina Panthers aren't exactly known for having a Hollywood crowd behind them. Unlike teams like the New York Giants or Los Angeles Rams, who play in major markets and often draw a generous bit of celebrity attention, the Panthers usually stay out of that spotlight. So when Taylor Swift was recently seen wearing a high-end panther-shaped necklace, it sparked a fun theory: could she secretly be a Panthers fan? All about Taylor Swift's Panther Necklace The necklace, spotted in one of Swift's recent posts, is no small accessory – it's a $22,000 Cartier piece, shaped like a sleek black panther. That was enough for Kassidy Hill, a Panthers reporter with the team website, to joke that Swift might be hiding an allegiance to Charlotte's NFL team. Reporter sees expensive panther pendant, jokes it's a hidden message for Carolina Panthers The post came just as Swift announced her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, during her first appearance on New Heights, the podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce. The moment wasn't lost on Hill, who shared the theory lightheartedly: 'Unfortunately, it's just a necklace that happens to be of a panther, as the Cartier brand and price tag make it more of a status symbol than a fandom confession.' Taylor Swift's real NFL ties are with the Kansas City Chiefs – and maybe the Philadelphia Eagles Anyone who's been paying attention over the last two NFL seasons knows Swift is a frequent face at Kansas City Chiefs games. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Original Adidas Three Combo Track-Pants With Up To 60% Off Adidas India Shop Now Undo She's dating Travis Kelce, the team's Pro Bowl tight end, and has shown up at several of their biggest games – including the Super Bowl. She hasn't shown the same kind of support for Carolina. In fact, when the Chiefs played the Panthers in Charlotte last season, Swift gave it a miss. And she skipped Charlotte entirely on her Eras Tour, opting to perform in Atlanta instead. If there's another team she might support, it's the Philadelphia Eagles, though. Swift was born in Pennsylvania, her dad is a longtime Eagles fan and she's even mentioned the team in her lyrics (wearing your Eagles T-shirt). The necklace was a luxury statement piece, not a hint at a fandom. For Panthers fans, it was a moment of 'what if" that was fun till it lasted.
