Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink had an exciting game against the Seattle Storm on Monday, Aug 11. And to make it all the more special, alongside her mom - Michelle Bain-Brink,
Ayesha Curry
and her three children were there to cheer Brink on.
The Brinks and the Currys are very close, with the moms being roommates and best friends since their college days. And their fathers having played basketball on the same team. Now the next generation has kept the bonds just as strong, and are very supportive of each other.
Ayesha Curry takes a detour to Crypto.com to cheer on Cameron Brink
Cameron Brink's Los Angeles Sparks played the Seattle Storm on Monday and won the game, 94-91 at home. The Crypto.com Arena was filled with fans cheering for the home and away teams, but alongside all of them, Brink had a few special people present to holler for her and her teammates. Brink's mom, Michelle Bain-Brink, who is also godmother to Sydel, Seth, and Stephen Curry, was there to support her daughter, alongside
Ayesha Curry
and her three children - Riley, Ryan, and Canon.
In a sweet moment off the court, Bain-Brink was seen hugging the Curry children. Cameron Brink posted the photo on her Instagram handle alongside a series of other photos from July and August, and her mom reposted it on her Instagram Stories and captioned it with, "Where did the babies go 🥺❤️," while also tagging Ayesha and Stephen Curry.

The Brink and Curry households have been close for decades, and Ayesha Curry frequently drops by in Los Angeles to catch up with her husband's god-sister.
Sometimes she does it with her children, or sometimes with her sister-in-law Sydel, who is also best friends with Brink.
Cameron Brinks is slowly getting back in perfect shape
Only a few games into her rookie season, Cameron Brink had to end her season because of a torn ACL. She had to sit out the whole season because of it, and is only getting back on the court a little at a time. She has not played a full game this season yet and is taking her time to get back in perfect shape.
In the Los Angeles Sparks' game against the Seattle Storm, she only played 11 minutes, but was able to score 14 points off the bench, with 5 rebounds and 1 assist. The Spars will be facing the New York Liberty next, and fans are hoping to see Brink in action once more.

Mithali Raj reveals the key for India to win first Women's ODI World Cup
Image credit: BCCI Women NEW DELHI: Former India captain Mithali Raj believes the current women's team has what it takes to lift a maiden ICC Women's ODI World Cup — provided they can seize crucial moments during the tournament, which begins on September 30. India enter the eight-team event among the title favourites, but will have to contend with the experience and dominance of seven-time champions Australia and four-time winners England. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! 'I think (India) needs to seize those small moments during the big games. That's where the balance (is) of the teams that are in contention. They try to use more of those moments and try to shift the momentum to their side, and India need to seize those moments,' Mithali told ICC Digital on Thursday. Mithali, who captained India to runners-up finishes in 2005 and 2017, said winning the trophy at home would be a massive boost for women's cricket in the country. 'I mean, that is something that all the players, whoever picks up the bat, whoever wants to represent the country, would want to win the World Cup because so far India hasn't. 'Yes, we've come close twice, but we haven't got our hands on the Cup. It would be great to win a World Cup at home because that's a very different stage altogether... and giving all of us an opportunity to see that,' she added. While the spotlight will naturally be on captain Harmanpreet Kaur , Jemimah Rodrigues , Deepti Sharma, and Smriti Mandhana, Mithali believes a breakthrough performance from young pacer Kranti Goud could prove decisive. Goud, who emerged as one of the standout talents in WPL 2025, impressed during India's ODI and T20I series wins in England and has played four ODIs so far. 'I was quite impressed with Kranti Goud in England with her raw talent. She has played WPL (Women's Premier League), but she does not really have that much experience. But the grit that she gets as a seamer trying to keep pegging in and getting wickets (is impressive), and she picked up a six-wicket haul (in England) as well, so I would love to see her in the World Cup playing at home,' Mithali said.
