AZ Martinez overwhelmed by support she got from the outside world: 'Unexpected talaga'
During their guest appearance on the noontime show, the 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' Big Four finalist shared that it had always been her dream to step onto the 'It's Showtime' stage.
The Sparkle star expressed how overwhelmed she was by the outpouring of support from the outside world, which came as a complete surprise to her.
'Kasi diba sa bahay [ni Kuya], sa garden may naririnig kang mga tao. Wala akong naririnig na sumisigaw ng AZ. So sabi ko, oh my god wala sigurong nagmamahal sa akin. Pero paglabas ko, ang daming LED signs, banners, mukha ko," AZ said.
"Haya sobrang overwhelmed ako. Unexpected talaga,' she added.
During the Big Night at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, several lamp posts in Araneta City were adorned with tributes to AZ, her duo partner River, and her fan ship with Ralph De Leon. An LED truck, billboard, and even a bus showing support for AZ and Ralph were also spotted around the area.
AZ and River (AZVer) ended their PBB stint as the fourth big placer duo, with the pair of Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa) being named as big winner duo. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA Integrated News

Klarisse de Guzman pranks Will Ashley on 'Bar Boys: After School' set
The Nation's Mowm and the Nation's Son are back at it with their genuine bond! Klarisse de Guzman played a prank on Will Ashley on the set of "Bar Boys: After School," their first film project together. On Instagram, Klarisse shared a video of her and Will with the camera still rolling. They seemed to have just finished a scene, as Will was still visibly in character. Klarisse suddenly broke into song, "'Di ko inisip, na mawawala ka pa," a line that has been going viral because of Mika Salamanca's resurfaced childhood videos. Will laughed sheepishly and held Klarisse's hand, before the two of them burst into giggles. They punctuated the adorable moment with a hug. "Seryoso po tayo 'nak, ano po?" Klarisse wrote in the caption, tagging Will and "Bar Boys" director Kip Oebanda. "Dramang-drama na si Will e," Direk Kip quipped in the comments section. Klarisse and Will became close while they were housemates in the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." The two are members of the barkada called "Pamilya de Guzman," which is composed of Klarisse and her children: Will, Esnyr, Mika, and Shuvee Etrata. Will's casting in "Bar Boys: After School" was announced while he was still inside Bahay ni Kuya. Meanwhile, Klarisse was announced as part of the film on Wednesday. "Bar Boys: After School" is the sequel of the 2017 film "Bar Boys" starring Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino, Kean Cipriano, and Enzo Pineda. All four are reprising their roles, and new cast members also include Glaiza De Castro, Royce Cabrera, Therese Malvar, Sassa Gurl, and Bryce Eusebio. —MGP, GMA Integrated News

Alden Richards and his family finally got some much-needed downtime during their trip to London! In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Thursday, the Asia's Multimedia Star said that he has not gone on vacation after his grandfather passed last year. "Last December was a very hard season for us because of my grandfather's passing, so we didn't really have that much time to really spend time together and magkaroon ng downtime," he said. Alden was in the United Kingdom this month for the annual London Barrio Fiesta 2025, which he graced with fellow Sparkle stars Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz. While in the U.K., Alden, his father, and siblings made sure to make the most out of their trip, as they visited various tourist sites. "Happy ako kasi sobrang nag-enjoy, most especially 'yung sumunod sa kin, si Riza, sobrang na-enjoy niya 'yung London, even 'yung youngest namin si Angel," he shared. Alden has now returned to work after arriving in the Philippines, including taping for "Stars on the Floor," which he hosts. Per Alden, they are happy thus far with the positive feedback the Kapuso reality dance competition has received. "We're very happy. Happy kami I mean with the performance of the show, of course mga Pinoy mahilig sumayaw and what more, it's just so very rewarding for us to get such feedback from the viewers." He is also gearing up for the GMA Gala 2025 on August 2, which is expected to be a big event as GMA Network marked its 75th anniversary this year. "I've [become a] part of the GMA family during its 60th year, so I'm very proud and happy. For 15 years, I've been a solid Kapuso ever since day one.
