Jonnu Smith's future in Miami may be clouded by trade speculation, but his commitment to the Dolphins remains as strong as ever. The Pro Bowl tight end, fresh off a record-breaking season, has expressed a clear desire to stay put.
According to his agent Drew Rosenhaus, Smith's heart—and home—are in Miami, where he has not only flourished on the field but also built a life off it. Despite the business side of the NFL looming large, Smith isn't looking for a change of scenery.

tight end Jonnu Smith focused on staying in Miami for 2025
Despite putting up the best numbers of his eight-year NFL career, Jonnu Smith has been at the center of offseason trade discussions.
Rosenhaus, speaking to WSVN-7, emphasized that the veteran tight end has no desire to leave
Miami
and hopes to continue his career in South Florida.
"Here's what I will say on behalf of my client: Jonnu would definitely like to stay in Miami," Rosenhaus said. "That's his first choice. This is where he lives in the off-season. He had a record-breaking season last year. It was the best season ever for a Miami Dolphin tight end.
"... He broke the team record for receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns for a tight end and was the team's single Pro Bowl player. He's an incredibly valuable part of this team.
... He went to college at FIU. His dream team is the Dolphins."
Smith's 2024 campaign included 88 receptions, 884 yards, and eight touchdowns—setting new single-season franchise marks for a tight end. He outperformed his prior best season, also with Miami, and enters the second year of a two-year deal set to pay him $3.49 million in 2025.
Financial considerations, however, could complicate things. His breakout has increased his value considerably, which may tempt Miami to explore trade options.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport weighed in during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, suggesting that moving high-priced cornerback Jalen Ramsey could make room to retain Smith.
"Jonnu Smith is one [tight end teams are exploring]," Rapoport said. "It feels to me like he wants more money and would like to stay. ... Trading Ramsey might help Jonnu Smith get the contract he wants."
Whether Jonnu Smith remains a Dolphin hinges on more than just loyalty—it's about cap space and future planning. But if it were up to the tight end, he's made his choice loud and clear: Miami is home.

'I got no other family': Travis Hunter reveals painful childhood memories days after marrying longtime partner Leanna Lenee

Travis Hunter gets candid about his emotions following marriage to Leanna Lenee (Image via Instagram) Star athlete Travis Hunter, whose challenging upbringing fueled his drive, recently married his long-time girlfriend, Leanna Lenee. The Tennessee ceremony, featuring a lavish car gift from Hunter, drew mixed reactions online. Many fans questioned the couple's young age and Leanna's intentions, but for Hunter, this wedding is another personal achievement alongside his ambitious football career. Travis Hunter opens up about his emotional past Travis Hunter, a football phenom, embodies duality: a "shutdown corner" with the instincts of a "wide receiver," a "No. 1 recruit" playing with the urgency of an overlooked "walk-on." His early life in a cramped Suwanee, Georgia, motel room with his family instilled a fierce drive to "make it out." At 14, his family, leaving Boynton Beach, moved to Georgia for a new environment. Hunter's stepfather introduced him to Collins Hill High coaches; initial skepticism quickly vanished. 'When we saw him for the first time in practice, we're like, damn, he isn't lying. This kid is legit,' recalled coach Drew Swick. Hunter's drive stemmed from struggle. Travis Hunter (Image via AP) 'I couldn't tell you. I mean, I'd be the same person, but I don't think I'd have the same energy and the same, you know, go get,' he shared with Action Sports Jax's Brent Martineau. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với sàn môi giới tin cậy IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo He elaborated, 'Once my mom moved me, it was just like, she put me in a space where like I got no other family. It's just me. I got to go to work. I got these four years of high school, get through those. And I got three years of college, get through that. ' This rigorous "work"—early-morning lifts, route-running, and film study—became his foundation. By junior year, despite his home situation, Hunter was a national recruit. He moved in with assistant coach Frontia Fountain for stability. 'He needed somewhere to breathe,' Fountain stated, adding, 'Somewhere to grow without survival being the first thought in the morning.' At Jackson State and then Colorado, Hunter became the "face of a program" through his versatile play. His ultimate NFL goal was clear: 'Once I get to the NFL, got to go into, I can't go no more. And once I'm done with that. Then I can sit down and relax,' he declared. Hunter recently celebrated a significant personal milestone, marrying Leanna Lenee. Their relationship, which began with a direct message, saw Leanna support him through his three years in college, present even when he won the Heisman Trophy or during the NFL draft. After being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, they married last week in a luxurious Tennessee celebration. Hunter made a grand gesture, gifting Leanna a Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 Brabus 800. However, the marriage faced intense online backlash, with many questioning Leanna's intentions and labeling her a "gold-digger.'

Antonio Brown makes fun of Stefon Diggs' viral yacht party in fake Madden cover and fans are loving it

Antonio Brown makes fun of Stefon Diggs' viral yacht party in fake Madden cover. (Credit- X) You know Antonio Brown never misses a chance to stir things up, and this time he went straight for Stefon Diggs. AB just posted a hilarious Madden NFL 26 meme roasting Diggs' recent off-field party drama. Instead of showing football moves, this fake cover highlights Diggs' yacht party antics, making the whole NFL fan community crack up and honestly, it's a little brutal. Antonio Brown's meme hilariously mocks Stefon Diggs' yacht party controversy So here's the deal: the meme is a photoshopped Madden 26 cover showing Stefon's viral chilling on a yacht with a bunch of women image. Totally not your typical Madden cover vibe, right? This is AB's way of making fun of Diggs' viral video partying in Miami with Cardi B, surrounded by rumors about some weird pink powder. The Patriots still back Diggs, but the internet is loving this savage roast. Diggs is a top wide receiver, no doubt, but lately his off-field life is stealing all the headlines. Antonio Brown's meme is basically saying if Diggs were the Madden cover star, the game wouldn't be about touchdowns, it'd be about the party life. It's a funny, kinda brutal way to remind everyone that Diggs' drama is hard to ignore right now. NFL fans react with hilarious memes, jokes, and savage comments Of course, the fan reactions didn't hold back. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Switch to UnionBank Rewards Card UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo One fan commented, 'Turn the man, Stefon Diggs, in this photo to Antonio Brown sitting with Shannon Sharpe please' Another one added, 'Turn the man in this photo, Stefon Diggs, into Stephen Hawking' What started as a simple roast has now turned into full-blown meme madness. Fans are tagging @grok, asking for edits that turn Stefon Diggs into everyone from Stephen Hawking to Lionel Messi . Some even joked about a 'Madden 26: Offseason Edition,' where instead of gameplay, you just hand out 'pink goodie bags.' The creativity is off the charts, and it's proving that once the internet latches onto a moment. This whole meme situation shows just how much off-field moments can take over the NFL headlines these days. Antonio Brown's savage Madden 26 roast is a funny reminder for Stefon Diggs to maybe keep the party scenes low-key if he wants the focus back on football and avoid becoming meme material.
