Don't look back in anger.
Oasis has officially reunited for its first performance in 16 years – marking the first time brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have shared the same stage since their infamous feud broke the beloved group apart back in 2009.
The legendary English rockers took the stage to kick off their Oasis Live '25 Tour in Cardiff, Wales, on Friday, July 4.

Fans who didn't have the chance to see the band's first performance in 16 years rushed to social media to celebrate the momentous concert that was nearly two decades in the making.
'This is history,' one person tweeted alongside a photo of Liam and Noel raising their hands together onstage.

'All I can say is AMEN,' added another excited fan.
'A sight I never thought I'd see again,' commented a third, while a fourth fan said that they were 'sobbing' over the band's reunion.
Although the 'Wonderwall' group had seemingly disbanded in August 2009 following a backstage fight between Liam and Noel, the pair's rocky relationship dates all the way back to the band's beginning in 1991.

While the brothers butted heads several times, and Noel briefly quit Oasis on at least two occasions in 1994 and again in 2000, it wasn't until 2009 that he appeared to walk away for good.
'It is with some sadness and great relief … I quit Oasis tonight,' Noel announced after the Rock en Seine festival in Aug. 2009. 'People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.'
Still, both brothers continued to perform music in new bands that they formed after the shocking Oasis breakup.

15 Oasis also marked the upcoming 30th anniversary of their debut album, 'Definitely Maybe,' on Friday.

Noel formed Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in 2010, and the project's lineup included several former Oasis members – including guitarist Gem Archer, keyboardist Mike Rowe and drummer Chris Sharrock.
Meanwhile, Liam created the band Beady Eye, which, surprisingly, also included Archer and Sharrock. Beady Eye ultimately disbanded in 2014, and Liam continued a successful solo career on his own.
Then, in Aug. 2024, Oasis shocked fans by announcing that the band would reunite for a world tour.

'There has been no great revelatory moment that has ignited the reunion—just the gradual realization that the time is right,' the band said in a statement at the time. 'Yet the timing must be a subconscious influence.'
'This Thursday represents 30 years to the day since their electrifying debut album 'Definitely Maybe' was released, while 2025 will see the equally essential second record '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' reach that same anniversary.'

'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over,' Noel added. 'Come see. It will not be televised.'

'We have LIFT OFF Rastas sounded f–king FILTHY,' he shared on June 3. 'I'll tell thee that there for hardly anything.'
After several dates in Britain and Ireland, the Oasis Live '25 Tour will hit North America and open in Toronto on Aug. 24.
Besides Liam and Noel, the band's current lineup also includes Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker.
Music industry experts told The Post that the once-feuding brothers will make at least $200 million from their reunion tour thanks to a lucrative deal with Live Nation and a multimillion-dollar contract with Adidas.

Who is Love Island's Boris? Age, background, job, and more as Casa Amor bombshell eyes up Shakira

The Casa Amor boys for this year's Love Island are on the way, and we can't wait for them to join the villa on Monday 7th July. Amongst the line-up is 28-year-old model Boris, who already has his eye on Shakira... "I'm super attracted to Shakira, I think she's got a great personality and seems like a good girl. I'm sure we'd get along well and have a good time together, but I need to see in person, it's all about energy," he said ahead of entering the villa. Boris is in luck as Shakira is newly single after ending things with Harry, and is in (not so much of) a friendship couple with Ben. Ahead of his villa debut, read on for everything you need to know about Boris. Lives: Ljubljana / Dubai Boris is one of the this year's Love Island Casa Amor boys. He'll join the villa on Monday night's episode alongside Ty, Cach, Jamie, Chris and Martin. Boris is 28-years-old. Boris is a model. Asked what his ideal type is, the 28-year-old said: "I don't have an exact type, if her energy matches my energy, that's what I like. Besides that; a beautiful smile, a nice figure, and a great personality. I want someone around me that I can laugh with 24/7. If she can roast me, I love her already!" While he doesn't have a type, he sure knows who he wants in the villa, and that's Miss Shakira Khan. "I'm super attracted to Shakira, I think she's got a great personality and seems like a good girl. I'm sure we'd get along well and have a good time together, but I need to see in person, it's all about energy." Boris won't have to worry about turning Shakira's head as she's single, but he wasn't scared anyway, saying: "I'm gonna have to be the bad guy! That's the game. If I'm going in and there's someone beautiful waiting for me inside, I'm going to approach them for sure." Fun fact: Boris speaks five languages - "Slovenian, Croatian, English, Spanish and a bit of German. Actually maybe six, the language of love!" he said. He sure does. He can be followed @sportyris where as of July 2025 he has 10k followers - a number that's sure to increase while he's on the ITV2 dating show. Speaking ahead of his debut, Boris explained: "I'm going to be myself - easy going and try to find someone who is like me. The girl I'm looking for must have an interesting personality. What makes me look is a smile, what makes me stay is a personality. I'm going to go with the flow, let's see what happens!" New episodes of Love Island air on weekdays and Sundays on ITV2 at 9pm.

Why Cristiano Ronaldo did not attend Diogo Jota's funeral

Cristiano Ronaldo's surprising decision to skip teammate Diogo Jota's funeral was made out of respect for the grieving family, his sister claimed. One of the biggest soccer stars in the world was noticeably absent as Jota — the Portugal star who was killed alongside his brother Andre Silva on Thursday in a car crash — was laid to rest. Ronaldo's concern was that his presence would draw attention away from Jota and his family, including his wife of just two weeks, with whom he shared three children. Diogo Jota's wife Rute Cardoso (C) follows the coffin of Portuguese football player Diogo Jota carried out of the church after the funeral ceremony of Liverpool's Portuguese forward Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva. AFP via Getty Images Ronaldo's sister, Katia Aveiro, recalled the invasion of privacy and 'media circus' when their own father died in 2005 as she defended her brother. 'It is absurdly shameful to watch TV channels/commentators/social networks emphasizing an absence rather than respectfully honoring the pain of a mutilated family destroyed by the loss of two brothers. I am even ashamed to watch. Regrettable,' Aveiro wrote on social media, according to reported English translations. 'And so the world goes… Society and opinion. Today they are worthless. They themselves have become bottomless pits. I feel sorry… And war is also like that. Believe me. Human evil is also a war. And every day we have to fight against it. And so it goes.' Jota's funeral was held in the small town of Gondomar and his graveyard reportedly had to be shut off from the public because soccer fans were taking selfies at the headstone after his family left the site. So Ronaldo's concern about becoming a distraction might have been justified. Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, left, celebrates with his teammate Diogo Jota after he scored his side's second goal during the Euro 2020 group B qualifying soccer match between Luxembourg and Portugal on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019. AP 'When my father died, in addition to the pain of loss we had to deal with a flood of cameras and curious onlookers at the cemetery and everywhere we went,' Aveiro wrote. 'And attention was not what it is today in terms of access… At no time were we (the children) able to leave the chapel; it was only possible at the time of the burial, such was the commotion. 'At the funeral, there were presidents, coaches of the national team at the time, such as Luís Filipe Scolari, etc. I don't remember seeing any of them. And they certainly greeted me. The pain blinded me.' Ronaldo expressed his grief in a social media post: 'It doesn't make sense. We were just together in the national team, and you had just gotten married. To your family, your wife and your children, I send my condolences and wish them all the strength in the world. 'I know you will always be with them. Rest in peace, Diogo and Andre. We will all miss you.' Ronaldo and Jota helped Portugal defeat Spain in the Nations League final last month. Jota also starred for Liverpool. 'It's the fear of creating a media circus because you want to do something and being unable to focus on what is really important,' Aveiro reportedly wrote. 'Silence is also empathy. Perhaps we need to learn from this. Not everything is as it seems.'

Oasis fans slam ‘distasteful' joke after Liam quips about ticket price controversy at first reunion show

Oasis fans have criticised Noel and Liam Gallagher after the latter brother made a taunt about their ticket pricing scandal on the first night of their reunion tour. Thousands of fans gathered at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, to watch the rock band, who broke up after a backstage fight in 2009. They tore through hits including 'Morning Glory', 'Supersonic', 'Half the World Away' and 'Stand by Me' with Liam asking the crowd in a clip shared online: 'You having a good time, yeah? Is it worth the £40,000 you paid for the ticket?' Fans on X/Twitter quickly condemned the comment, with one writing: 'Yeah. Hilarious. Ripping the Fans off.' 'And there you have it, as far as Oasis are concerned ripping off their fans with bulls*** ticket prices is just a joke,' another person remarked. A third person commented that the Gallaghers had 'become everything they used to despise' adding the evolution of the pair's demeanour was 'sad'. 'Just sing and don't gloat,' another fan advised Liam, while another crowd member said they 'loved the concert' but found the joke 'really distasteful'. 'Was it worth the £4,000 you paid for a ticket' yeahhh he knows it @oasis — Dianne Bourne (@diannebourne) July 4, 2025 When Oasis announced their reunion tour last August, the band confirmed that general admission for a standing ticket to be £150. However, due to Ticketmaster's surge pricing policy, this quickly shot up to many hundreds of pounds more. This dynamic pricing policy, which has been heavily criticised in the past, is the system's response to demand, increasing or decreasing prices in line with what scalpers would resell them for, keeping the money in-house for the seller and artist. It is permitted under consumer protection laws. Following Liam's joke, many social media users said the performance wasn't worth the ticket price. 'Personally, I wouldn't pay £4 for a ticket to see them,' one person said, while another added, 'I wouldn't go if you paid me £40,000.' In his five-star review of the show, The Independent's Mark Beaumont said it would be 'tough to imagine another comeback on such a momentous scale' as Oasis's, adding the crowd in Cardiff 'howl[ed] the affirmative' when Liam asked if their ticket was worth the cost.
